Twilight offers her friends to take a nice vacation to the Crystal Empire to relax and build a stronger bond. When Cadance finds out about this, she attempts to help in her own way, casting a spell to help them find affection for each other. The spell is much stronger than she intends though, causing the ponies to look at each other in a new and romantic way.

Meanwhile Thunderlane is figuring out how to help his brother Rumble, who's showing signs of being a stallion more than a colt. Though it's hard for him to think when a certain Wonderbolt has the attention of his marefriend Rainbow Dash.

Rumble himself is growing up, no longer a colt, rather a young stallion. He starts to feel he's ready to mate, but he doesn't know how to really go about it, causing him to explore on his own.
