You never expected to end up in a colorful world with ponies being the dominant species. Pegasi, Unicorns, Alicorns, and Earth ponies? You never really were able to wrap your head around the facts. But when you arrived, they welcomed you with open arms.

"Hey, Mac, can you push that barrel over here? My basket got a lil' too full." Applejack said, after kicking another tree, apples falling down into her wooden basket.

Big Macintosh looked up, from the top of a hill, and shouted his iconic "Eeyup," as he kicked a barrel her direction, it bouncing and rolling quickly.

Applejack stopped it with ease, one hoof held out, and thanked him.

You are still as the air pushes by you, making you feel almost weightless. Clouds pass and become farther and farther away as the ground becomes bigger and more visible.

As soon as you gain your senses, you hit the water.

"Oh my gosh! Mac, get down here!" Someone says as you slowly lose consciousness, drifting away into the abyss they call sleep.

"Help me pick him up!" Something grabs your pant leg and pulls you out of the water. You groan slightly.

"Mac, what is it?" Applejack asked as she pokes the strange creature.

"Appears to be some kinda hairless ape.." Apple Bloom says, running up to them upon hearing the commotion.

Applejack pays no attention to her and moves closer to his face.

You begin to wake up.

No idea what these creatures are, you move away from the orange pony, only to meet the warm waters of the pond.

You are silent, and they only stare at you as you stand, awaiting something to happen.

"H-hello." The orange pony says. There is fear in her eyes, but you smile, and the light returns to her eyes. Her eyes are a very pretty green that is sparkly like diamonds and green like emeralds. Of course you don't say this.

...

Time passes and you spend most of your time helping out Applejack with apple bucking, as all other jobs seem to be physically tolling on your body.

"You feeling alright, sugar cube?" Applejack asks you.

You realize you've been staring into her eyes, and have lost your train of thought, leading you into a daydream.

You were lost in her eyes.

Quickly responding, you explain that you were just...watching her..

She has a look of confusion on her face, but then just smiles and nods.

That was a close one.

You are working there for a golden currency called "bits," and they seem to be the money used widely. Back on Earth, one or two would fetch a pretty penny.

"Alright, it looks like the sun's setting. Time to head back.." Applejack says. But you hold her back. "What is it?"

You bring her to the cliff over the lake, and show her the sun setting with beautiful clouds with orange, red, purple, and yellow spread across the horizon. Her eyes are fixed on the sunset, her sparkly eyes, and it's obvious she's amazed.

"I-I guess I've never really watched a sunset..I'm always just usin' it as reference for when we go inside."

She looks at you with her big green eyes and you see her just stare at you for awhile. After the sun drops out of sight, you go inside.

That night, you lay awake thinking about everything, about Applejack, about her eyes...and...You're surprised that you've...

Fallen for a pony.
