(Skittles is the type of person who always looks on the bright side of everything that goes on, he thought if something bad happened something better was around the corner. Crimson always kept to himself and refused to let anyone get close due to trust issues, he never liked talking to others about what bothered him and locked most of his emotions behind a false mask.) In school Skittles was around all his friends talking and playing games most of his time enjoying every moment he could, His favourite lesson in school was physical education where he got to really let loose while playing tennis, where as Crimson liked to spend most of his time alone in the library reading various books of adventure and fantasy by himself; if he wasn't reading he was under his favourite tree sleeping in the shade listening to soothing music. One afternoon once Crimson and Skittles finished their last day of school before the summer holidays, they decided to take a stroll through the town shops to pass some time and relax.  They decided to go into all their favourite shops, Skittles was looking at games and movies while matt was looking at books and music. Going from shop to shop they decided to go towards the arcade they always enjoyed, their favourite machine had most definitely had to be the grab machines, while they didn't always win a toy in it they would always get it right next to the edge so the other could have a easier chance at getting the toy. "hey crimson it's your turn I managed to get the cat toy next to the edge for you now use your expert skills to get it in the hole and win it!" "yeah yeah just because you can't get it yourself, your rubbish at using this machine, but you did make it easier for me to get it so step back and watch a master at work" crimson said boasting not being able to stop himself from showing off. As they left the arcade they were in they noticed that the clouds were getting thicker and it started spitting.  Thinking nothing of it they went to go get some food from the nearest restaurant. As they walked in they went up to counter to see if there were any tables open so that they could sit down for a bite to eat, after telling the man behind the counter that they only needed a table for two he gestured them over to a table over In the corner of the restaurant, so they started to make their way over to the table. When they took a seat in the table they picked up a menu each and sat there looking at them in silence, while sitting there for 5 minutes looking at the menus skittles finally decided to break the silence. "So what are you gonna have to eat". "Not sure but i'll probably go for the burger", Crimson said in a monotone voice. "Come on that's what you always have, why not try something different for a change, try and live a little Crimson, as for me I'm going for the half rack of ribs for a change sounds and looks delicious". Looking over the menu Crimson said," yeah go for it, but I'm sticking with something I know I'm going to like, otherwise if you don't like it your just wasting your money on something you won't finish". As if perfectly timed the waiter came over and asked "so what would you like to eat this evening?". Skittles turned to the waiter and said "I would like to have the half rack of ribs with some coleslaw while my brother would like to have the burger".  "Without the coleslaw", Crimson butted in matter of factly. 20 minutes later. After eating their meals and splitting the bill they start heading to the exit.  Getting closer to the door they notice the rain getting harder and they put their blazers over their heads to stop themselves getting soaked while speeding up to get home and out of the rain. "The rain doesn't seem to be settling down does it", Skittles said dripping wet, obviously the blazer not blocking most of the rain. Suddenly lightning starts to strike around them.  Both unsure of what to do they start running as fast as they could when suddenly 'BOOM', the lightning striking in between them causing them both to black out. MEANWHILE SAME TIME IN EQUESTRIA A storm raged over the skies of ponyville seemingly reaching all the way to canterlot, In the eye of the storm between ponyville and canterlot a cave lies dead in the centre of the storm. A shadow stirs at the darkest depths of the cave two bright red eyes seem to open up out of nothing as a crack of thunder hits the ground outside of the cave, The shadowy figure makes it's way to the entrance of his cave looking out into the raging storm taking place around him, looking out at it with a nostalgic feeling. "The last time I saw a storm of this size was eons ago before I was the defeated by THEM", he said to himself with anger seething in his eyes making them glow a darker shade of red. " I have been in this cave for so long trapped and unable to leave, I wonder how much time has passed since then." "Not much seems to have changed outside, hahaha I just wish I could have been woken and set loose In a more pleasant way than this." As the figure looks out onto the storm thinking of his past he sees two strikes of lightning stike at the same time on either side of the storm, shortly after from both areas where the strikes were he sees another two flashes, but no sound came from them only see two small figures falling from them in opposite directions, one falling near ponyvile and the other towards canterlot.
