Win the Gameby ThatMLPGuyChaptersPrologueChapter 1Chapter 2PrologueAs me and two of my fellow mercenaries entered the dimly lit room, we see armed guards in each corner of the room, they were all covering their faces with Goggles and fabric that covered their mouth, the fabric displayed a skull face on each one and they carried assault rifles. The guards escorting us closed the door behind us and a loud *Thud* escaped the metal doors as they were closed and looked tight. In the center of the room there were three chairs, we all went and sat down onto each chair. We all sat in silence until I decided to speak up, “I haven't done this is aaages hehe” I giggled at the end of my sentence. I looked to my left and right to see if any of my company had found my comment funny, no one gave me as much as a glance, to my left was a man with huge hands and muscles, his face was covered with a mask and he was wearing an orange metal chestplate, to my right was a woman with a robotic arm, she also had a satchel on her side, she was wearing a white uniform along with a hat, she was really pretty. I continued to inspect them both but mostly the woman, until I heard a loud 'crack' and 'Boom' “Stand up maggots!” A man said as he walked into room, he had kicked the door open leaving a big mark from where the door handle hit the wall, the man was bald and had a scar running across his left eye, he was also heavily armored along with two guards standing to the left and right of him. we did as he said, we all assumed that he was our commander and employer, “You all know why you were hired for this job!” he yelled out over the room “SIR! YES! SIR!” my two companions answered in unison, I was confused and didn't know what to do. “Good!” he said in a more calm but still commanding voice. We all went back to sitting on our designated chairs and the commander spoke up again. “I will go over the mission.” A hologram picture, popped up on a table behind him, he walked behind the table and motioned for us to get up, we all walked up towards the table and realized that this was not a photo, but a live video of the current battle going on. there was not much happening other then a few creatures walking around and occasionally meet each other and fight, there wasn't much time to watch until our commander spoke up, “Okay, this is the battle zone, I will inform you all on your positions” He pointed up on the lane where all the turrets stood and spoke again, “Saw your position is up here, along with Catherine. Catherine will be protecting you if from any sneak attacks and if things gets hairy she will make sure that you survive, are we clear?” Saw and Catherine looked at each other and nodded, “Sure” Saw said, his voice was scruffy and it was muffled by his mask but sounded surprisingly sophisticated. “Yes sir"” Catherine confirmed, her voice was feminine but still very commanding and would problably scare any man who would challenge her, I loved it. The commander spoke up again, “For you, Koshka” My ears perked up at hearing my name. “You will be tasked with clearing the jungle area, make sure no enemies breach our line of defense, you will also make sure to capture the minion mines, it will give us extra energy and we can spend that on Minions, are we clear?” “Sure!” I responded in a cheery voice “Oooh, this is gonna be so much fun!” I clapped my hands together unable to contain myself, the commander, Saw and Catherine looked at me like I was crazy. I slumped down to the floor and got onto my knees as an attempt to get away from the embarrassment. “Sorry.”I whispered. The commander sighed, “*Sigh* Alright, You all have the mission to destroy the enemies energy crystal, but don't let them destroy ours, If you let the enemy breach our defenses and let them destroy our energy crystal, we wont have enough energy to power our facilities and you won't be payed.” the commander looked up from the table and onto us, we all gave a nod of understanding. the commander spoke up again, “A helicopter will pick you up and transport you to your destination” We all nodded again. “alright, dismissed!” he barked out. We all turned and made our way towards the door, we walked down the hall and were promptly given back our weapons that we previously obligated to turn in. Saw swung his gatling gun over his shoulders and Catherine put her shield on her back, I inserted my hand into my claws and the familiar clicks and hisses came from the machine as it locked tight around my hands and connected to my nervous system in my arms, We got to the exit and got out, it looked just like how it was before we entered, there was human soldiers and minions talking and interacting with each other, the sky was grey and brown and I immediately got bored, Luckily we didn't have much time to watch before we saw a helicopter with gatling guns and missiles approaching the base, the helicopter landed and soldiers walked out from it, one soldier walked towards the trio of us and started speaking. “This is the helicopter that will take you to the battle zone!!” he shouted over the loud helicopter. he continued with his comrades and we started to make our way towards the helicopter. Suddenly a thought came to mind, “SHOTGUN!” I shouted and dashed towards the passenger side of the helicopter. I opened the door and sat down. I looked to my left towards the driver and saw him looking at me like I was crazy. Saw and Catherine had gotten in the back of the helicopter and placed their weapons by their feet. The helicopter rose from the ground and started heading towards our destination. 2 hours later “I'm soooo booored” I said, “WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP!!!” the pilot yelled at me, He followed up with “YOU'VE SAID THAT A HUNDRED TIMES ALREADY!!!” I just leaned my head on the glass not caring about what he said. “I knooow, but it's sooo boring,” I said again "Are we there yet?" “Yes we're almost there.” he said throug clenched teeth. There wasn't long until we broke out of the clouds and we were faced with a giant floating rock, I looked down and saw there was mist covering the ground underneath the rock, On the giant rock was the battle zone we had previously looked at. I didn't have much time to look before the pilot spoke. “Okay I'm gonna drop you off he-” His sentence was cut off by a loud boom from the helicopter. I didn't realize what was going on until I heard the pilot screaming, “WE'RE GOING DOWN!!!” I looked back and saw that Catherine and Saw were missing. I decided to make my way to the back and jump out. I landed on the cold dirt ground on all four and I looked up to see the helicopter spinning with smoke coming from it's back. Suddenly a red beam appeared and it was pointing at the helicopter, the red beam turned blue and the helicopter exploded into tiny pieces. I looked around and saw both Catherine and Saw readying their weapons, I checked my claws for damages and luckily it didn't appear to be any. Saw spoke up, “Okay, we will proceed with the original plan.” “Right!” Me and Catherine said. We all made a sprint for our assigned areas and I made it into the jungle and Catherine and Saw continued up ahead towards the lane. I was disappointed that I couldn't be with Catharine, but it would problably be for the better. It wasn't long before I encountered a bunch monster wandering around the jungle. These monsters looked like orcs only with horns and they were yellow and completely naked. I quickly did my duty and neutralized them, as the commander would call it, or how I would say, tare them into bloody shreds. I had received a couple of injuries during these fights but luckily I had a couple of healing potions on me so I was okay. I grabbed a healing potion hanging on my side and quickly chugged it down, “Ugh, yuck. No wonder this is so cheap.” I said in disgust I looked down onto my body and saw the few scratches and cuts I've receivedstarted to close and the pain were quickly subsiding. “Well, you're doing your job at least.” I put the now empty bottle back onto my side and proceeded to have a look around. I didn't see much other than trees and bushes, but I heard Saw's gatling gun and him screaming, Eat some lead!! “I guess they have it all under control” I said to myself. I started to relax a bit and I heard an oh so familiar voice. “Hello there...” Was the only thing I heard before my entire body erupted in pain, I screamed, and from where the force of whatever had hit me, I had been knocked far away from where I originally stood and where now laying face down. “...Little sister.” The familiar voice finished. I laid there on the grassy ground riving in pain, my whole body felt like it was on fire but as quickly as it appeared it disappeared, I got up from the ground, everything was blurry but I could still make out a figure standing just a few meters away from me. it was tall, taller than me, It seems to have two big ears and orange hair and a big bushy tail “No, it can't be” My head repeated, My vision suddenly came back to normal and I saw what I was dreading, “T-Taka?” Even though His mouth was covered, I could still see a smile on his face. “Hmm, strange, no one have ever survived my X-Retsu before, you won't tell anyone, would you?” He finished sarcastically. I tried to get up onto my feet but I was extremely disoriented and fell down onto my side again. “Oh come on, I thought you were a lot stronger than this.” he sighed. “What a disappointment” he finished. I managed to finally get up onto my feet but I still felt a bit disoriented and fell down onto one knee. Taka started making his way slowly towards me. “Why do I walk when I can do that somersault thing?” He continued to make his way towards me. “Remember that dear sister?” I finally recovered myself and got up onto my feet. “Brother, what have you become!?” I yelled out. “Well a little bit of this and a little bit of that” he said in a mocking tone but suddenly his robotic eye glowed andhe spoke up again. “So, I've become better.” He responded seriously Two blades extended from his arms and he charged at me, he brought his swords over his head and brought them down onto me. I didn't have enough time to evade so the only thing I could do was to grab the swords, I raised my claws above my head and grabbed the swords, there wasn't long wait until Taka delivered a swift kick to my stomach, I lost my grip and fell over onto my back. I coughed up blood and I closed my eyes because of the pain. I opened my eyes and saw Taka standing over me, he didn't wait a second until he drove his sword through my shoulder. “AAAHHHH!!!” I shouted out. blood started pouring out from the hole. Taka lifted my body up in front of him by the sword, His sword too long for me too reach him so all I could do was scream and fight back. He started walking to a big blue glowing crystal rock and drove his sword, along with me into it, so now I was hanging by my shoulder with a sword driven through a rock, he detached his sword from it's holster and backed away from me. Tears started forming in my eyes and I asked Taka, “Why are you doing this?I thought we were siblings ” I asked with tears streaming from my eyes. Taka just stood still, he looked down to the ground and stayed quiet. “Please” I whimpered. Taka stayed quiet for a few more seconds until he spoke up, “You left her.” He said silently. “W-what?” I managed to get out. This seemed to strike a nerve on Taka and he shouted, “YOU LEFT OUR MOTHER!!!” I didn't understand what he was saying, “YOU LEFT HER TO DIE!!!” “I-I don't understand what you're talking about” Tears were streaming down my face as Taka buried his face in his hands and started crying as well. “We could've lived a normal life, me, you and mom, it would have all been so great. We could've played together, we could've grown up together, we could've been brother and sister together.” He fell onto his knees, his hands were still covering his face and his one working eye were flowing with crystal clear tears while the other mechanical eye were spewing out a blood red tears. “P-Please, I'm sorry for whatever I did.” Taka's crying subdued and he rose up to his feet. “You will be” was the only thing I heard. As quick as lighting he was already in front of me, his arm raised with sword ready to end my life, I closed my eyes preparing for my impending doom. I saw my life flash before my eyes, yet there was still something that felt missing. “Mom” Was the first thought that popped into my head. "BLAST TREMOR!!!" A familiar voice shouted out. I opened my eyes to see Taka being blasted off me by a purple energy force into a nearby tree, his body lay motionless and I felt a wave of relief come over me. I looked towards where my saviors voice had originated from, I saw Catherine stepping out from a bush and gave me a weak smile. “Looks like you're in bit of trouble.” I gave a weak smile back but that smile quickly disappeared when I realized what trouble she was talking about. I looked down onto my shoulder and saw the sword still stuck to me and the crystal, Catherine stood in front of me and with one strong pull of her metal arm, the sword dislodged and I fell down to my knees, I was about to fall onto my stomach if it wasn't for Catherine catching me, Catherine kneeled down in front of me and grabbed the second healing potion hanging on my side. I tilted my head upwards and got a good look on her face, she was so beautiful, a lot more up-close. her eyes, her skin, her everything was perfect. Catherine brought the vial up to my face and I opened my mouth, I let Catherine pour the liquid into my mouth, I didn't care that the liquid tasted foul, all I cared about was to watch into those beautiful eyes of hers and hers into mine, and for her to keep holding me tight, I didn't want this moment to end, I've never wanted something so bad in my life, But just like all things good. It had to come to an end. Catherine finished pouring the liquid, into my mouth and my newly acquired wounds started closing on them self but it wasn't quick. Catherine spoke up, “Okay, let's go.” a part of me died inside, but I knew we couldn't stay here for long, She picked me up and helped me standing by putting my arm around her neck and carried some of my weight, We had ony walked for a few minutes before I decided to speak up. “You're very beautiful.” I groggily spoke up Catherine was quiet for a few seconds before she spoke up, “Well thank you, but now is not the time for that.” I smiled and responded, “I know, I just couldn't resist myself” We shared a small laugh and Catherine spoke up again, “Come on just a few more minutes and I'll fix you u-” Her voice was cut short and we stopped dead in our tracks. I got confused by this and looked up onto Catherine's face, her face had turned snow white and lacked any emotions, I looked down onto her body, trough her stomach was something sharp and metallic sticking out covered in blood. The object retreated back into her body and she fell onto her knees, so did I. “Catherine? Catherine!?” I shook her and got no response. I quickly looked behind us and saw Taka, one of his swords were out and it was covered in blood. “You, You, You...” I kept repeating. I didn't know what I felt in that moment, sadness, anger, hatred, I didn't know witch one I should feel, but eventually my body just decided to act on it's own. "YOU BASTARD!!!" I shouted out. I got ready to pounce on him but as quickly as I was about to something hard hitting my stomach, this forced me back a long distance and I fell onto my back again, I had learned from my previous encounter and immediately looked up, I saw Catherine with her metal arm outstretched and hand curled into a fist, she had a smile on her face and it wasn't long until she turned and grabbed Taka by his chest, he struggled a lot but did not manage to break free from her metal grip She grabbed something from her satchel, it looked like a ball with white flowing liquid inside, she squeezed the ball until it made a 'Pop' and 'Crack'. White mist flew around her hand she held it close to her chest, the light emanating from from the mist got stronger with every second, I knew what she was doing and I couldn't let it happen. Taka struggled to get away from her grasp but she didn't let him go. I was about to get up until 0I felt an immense pain in my stomach and I fell down onto my hands and knees. The light kept getting stronger and stronger, Catherine still kept a smile on her face and she muttered some words I will never forget. “Thank you.” she said softly. Those words gave me the strength to get to her, I leaped for her and I wrapped my arms around her, Tears were streaming down my face and I yelled at her, “PLEASE DON’T LEAVE M-” Were the only words I could get out before my world turned white Please anypony, Help us! My eyes shoot open with a gasp, I was laying on the ground on my back. I shoot up from the ground ready to attack, but I saw nothing. I looked around some more until I finally calmed down enough so I sat down onto the ground again “What Happen?” I asked no one in particular. I tried to remember what had happen before I got here but It's blank. “I was in the jungle and Catharine...saved me, but from what? OHH I don't remember!” I couldn’t recall anything, just blank. I grabbed my head with my claws and closed my eyes trying to remember the events that transpired, but again it was just blank. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around my surroundings, There were trees, much more trees than before, I looked up and saw a big hole in the trees were I originally laid, sun rays were shining through the hole. there were also leaves and tree branches all around the spot “I guess I must have fallen” I said out loud. I turned around and looked in a random direction. sun rays where going through each crack of the leaves and the pollen reflected the light hitting them, It looked magical I would call it. I looked down onto my body to see if I had sustained any injuries, surprisingly I hadn't gotten any except for a few scratches but these weren't worth wasting the few drops of the healing potion I have left. I decided to find my way back to camp and get out of this place and hopefully find Catharine, so I started to walk. 30 Minutes later I had wandered around for sometime now but unfortunately I had not stumbled upon any camp or anything familiar at all, there were just more trees and there were not even any animals or monsters except for the occasional rabbit or distant howling. Eventually I saw the forest starting to clear up and trees started to get less frequent. I exited the the forest and felt the sun engulf my body, It felt nice. I looked around and saw hills without any trees on them. I wandered over a small hill and I noticed a small town in the distance. The town looked empty, there where no animals, no people, nothing. I thought this was strange and decided to investigate I made a dash towards the village and it took a couple of minutes. When I got closer and closet to the village I got a good look on each of the houses, the houses looked medieval and old, another strange thing was that they where really small, the door to each house only reached up to my forehead. I looked into all windows of every house I could see, and in each one looked trashed, it looked like someone had fought. the streets where still empty and quiet, no one was in sight. I decided it would be best if I explored some more, so I headed down the road I was on, 10 Minutes later I have walked around this place and so far I haven’t seen a single person or animal I thought this couldn’t get any weirder, I was wrong. I continued to walk around until I saw something that looked like a gingerbread house. I was about to go and explore it but I stopped myself, I didn't trust myself to not eat the entire house so I continued walking. I continued down the road until I noticed the second weirdest thing today. It looked like a tree house, but not a tree house you build onto a tree, no, this one looked like it had been carved out of the tree itself. “This I have to check out” I said with a smile on my face I made my way towards the door of the giant treehouse and just like the other houses the door only reached up to my forehead. I was about grab the door handle but I stopped myself and remembered what I should do first. “Oh right, I should knock, you gotta be polite” I raised my clawed hand and knocked on the door. ‘Knock, Knock, Creak’ The door creaked open on my second knock, so I decided that I might as well go in. I pushed the door open and it gave away a long drawn out creak, I ducked under the door frame and stepped inside, the room was dark but I could still see it faintly, the room looked like a library and just like all other buildings it looked completely trashed, books were laying all over the floor, almost as it had been a struggle, the most strange thing about this room was that there was a big hole on one of the book shelves, it also looked like there where burn marks around the hole. Hm, strange I thought to myself. I took a couple of steps inside the house and saw a stairway leading to a second floor, I had already seen everything on the first floor and decided it would be best to explore the second floor as well. I headed up the stairs and looked to my left, I noticed a hallway, there were only two doors and both looked to have been kicked in because both were laying on the ground inside the rooms. I ducked once again to avoid getting hit in the head and entered the first room. The room looked like a typical bedroom, a bed, a desk and a closet. The bed looked to be two times smaller than a regular bed, but I didn't pay it to much attention. I stepped out of the room and walked over to the second room, this room was the bathroom so I didn't need to enter it to know what's in there. I walked down the stairs again and sighed, “I guess this was just a waste of time” I proceeded over towards the front door but not before having a second glance, This time I noticed a second door in the far back of the room, I probably didn't notice It before due to my eyes not adjusting to the dark. I stopped and turned towards the door. I started walking towards the door and I got a good look at it, the door didn't seem to have any signs of had been damaged in any way. I reached for the door knob and twisted it, I only got it open a few centimeters until it abruptly stopped, the door seemed to have been blocked of. “A quick fix” I said. I performed a roundhouse kick to the door and whatever was blocking it promptly got blown away along with the door who cracked of it's hinges, the door and whatever was blocking it made a loud sound when they seemed tumble down a flight of stairs. I stepped in front of the doorway and my suspicion was confirmed, there were a flight of stairs, they looked like they were leading down to a basement area. I ducked once again and started walking down the stairs. I took slow and careful steps, Each step made a loud creek when I stepped on them. Once I got to last few steps I could see the door laying on top of what looked to be a wardrobe, I stepped over these and looked over the basement and I couldn't see anything, The dim light that was emanating from upstairs did nothing to guide my way. Luckily I felt around the darkness and felt what seemed to be a lantern, I grabbed the lantern and snapped my two metal claws this produced a spark and the lantern lit up, it quickly lit up a good portion of the room and I could see that It was much bigger than I thought It would be. It was a square room with a big alter in the middle, there where screws and tools on the ground, I could only presume that something used to stand on top of the alter before whatever happened, happened. I inspected the room and noticed a few flipped over tables I didn’t pay them any mind so I made my way up the stairs. *squeek* I was about half way up the stairs until I heard what sounded like someone making a squeak when you scare them, I bolted my way down again making sure that my lantern didn’t die out and looked around, empty except the tables and the alter, I slowly but surely made my way towards the tables, making sure to keep one clawed hand ready for attack and the other keeping a tight grip on the lantern. My steps made a small dragging sound every-time they hit the cold stone floor. I was standing less than a meter away from the table and I grabbed the side of the table and flung it away, behind it was, nothing. I sighed and calmed down a bit. “I think I’m going craz-” my sentence was cut of by a loud thud on the first floor, I dropped the lantern and started running towards the stairs., When I reached the bottom stair I saw a big object being pushed in front of the door way. I propelled myself up the stairs and knocked over whatever object was blocking my way, I saw that the door was swinging so I ran out of the house I didn’t anything until I looked up, it looked like a horse, but with wings and it was yellow and it had a pink and lilac tail and mane. The little creature looked back at me with fear in it’s baby blue eyes. I ran after it and I made a big leap on top of a roof and got closer the yellow little creature, I noticed that it started going higher and higher, this was when I realized I had to get whatever this thing was down to the ground again. With all my strength I shoot up into the air, I grasped the creature in my claws and fell down onto the ground on my feet again. I put the creature on it’s back and put my claws around it’s neck and made sure it couldn’t wiggle it’s way out of my grasp. I didn’t know why I even wanted to catch this creature, I just felt like I had to. I looked down onto the little creature, it was cute but that disappeared when I saw tears running from it’s eyes. “Please don’t hurt me!” The thing cried out. My eyes widened. “What?" Chapter 1“What?” I said astounded. I looked down onto the yellow creature in my claws and loosened my grip around it’s chest slightly. “Please don’t hurt me, I promise I will leave you alone” It spoke up again with tears in it’s eyes. The voice was definitely female and was a tone of pure terror. I took my claws off it’s chest and backed away from, I spoke up. “Hey don’t worry I won’t hurt you” I detached my claws from my hands and let them fall to the ground, a loud metal *Thunk* emanated from the metal hitting dirt, I put my now exposed hands in the air as if i was surrendering, the yellow little creature opened it’s eyes and looked up at me, It eyes had a moderate cyan color too it, it’s body was covered in light fur that was colored in a light gold color, it also sported two wings on each of it’s sides and a weird mark that depicted three butterflies on each side of it’s rear. The little creature looked at me and slowly got back onto it’s… “hooves?” I asked as I heard the a gentle clop come from the underside of her hooves when it made contact with the dirt ground. The little creature just looked at me with those cute eyes in confusion. I could still see that she was scared out of her mind of me so I was about too speak up until we both heard a voice in the distance. Ugh! Why do we have to go on these lookouts? we got enough ponies to make up for one element at least. do we really need the last one? A raspy voice spoke. A second voice appeared but this one a bit darker but just as raspy. If we use other ponies theres a big possibility that the machine will break or it will simply not work, you got that rookie? I didn’t catch the rest of the conversation until I heard the sound of hooves galloping away, I looked over towards where the yellow creature had been earlier and saw it running into an alleyway, I immediately sprinted into the same alleyway to hide from whatever had spoken. I came into the alleyway and saw the same creature sitting huddled in the corner. “What are you doing?” I asked. “Shhh” it hushed me “hide, don’t let them see you.” ”Let what see me?” I wondered. I stuck my head out the alleyway just in time to see to hideous creatures round the corner of a building. The creatures were completely black and there were holes in their legs , they wearied what seemed to be armor that were green and had a green glow to them. I continued watching until I heard one of the speak up.. “What’s that?” one of them asked. I looked around to see whatever it was looking at until I realized. I looked down onto my hands and saw noting, I looked around frantically around the alleyway until I remembered, I saw my claws in the middle of the road and the weird bug creatures were almost right by them. I wasn’t sure on what to do, so I just watched as the pair of claws started levitating. I watched in amazement as the claws spun around in circles, the bug creatures seemed to be inspecting them. I kept watching when one of the bug creatures spoke up again. “We should bring these back to base for further examination.” One of them said, the other one just nodded. They started walking back the way they came and just as they were passing the alleyway we were hiding in, I sprung out of the darkness and kicked one of them in the head, with the help of the sharp metal piece tied to my ankle I was able to deliver a small cut to the side of one of it’s face, green blood oozed from the wound and the bug creature backed up, It dropped one of my claws and I swiftly snatched it up and put my hand into it. I looked at the other creature and noticed a green light eminating from it’s horn, a green laser shoot out from the horn and coming towards me, I easily dodged it but I knew if I were to get hit, it would be the end of me. As soon as the claw had fully connected to my hand I swung it at one of the creatures. The armor was tough but nothing my claws could handle, I cut through one of it’s ribcage on it’s right side, green blood splattered my face and body, guts dropped down onto the ground and made audible thuds as intesdense hit the ground along side it’s body, there wasn’t long pause until a second laser beam headed straight for me couldn’t dodge it fully this time as it hit my arm I felt the skin and muscle sizzle as the beam hit it’s target I clenched my teeth and jumped into the air and raised my clawed arm above my head, “YOU BIG MEANIE!!!” I yelled as I brought my hand down onto it’s head. My claws cut though his armor and skull like butter. I jumped back and looked up just in time to see his head split open and and the two halves of it’s brain fall to the ground, It’s body following short after. I grabbed my other claw and put it on. I looked down onto the mangled corpses and scoffed at them. “Hff! no one takes my claws.” I turned around and looked at the alleyway, the yellow creature stood at it’s entrance. even if it was covered in fur I could still see that it was visibly green. It just stood there and looked back and forward on me and the corpses until it suddenly collapsed. I looked down onto me and saw the blood covering my body, I sighed and made my way over towards the yellow creature and picked it up and held it snuggly in my arms, careful so she didn’t get any blood on her. The pain from the laser beam didn’t hurt much and I was sure I could manage with out any treatment. I looked down onto the little creature and smiled. “Pegasus” I said “you’re a pegasus, I remembered stories my parents used to tell me” I felt a surge of old memories come back to me, how I used to work on these claws in the shed, how my mother and father used to tell me stories, how me and my brother used to...play. I shook my head trying not to delve on the past to much. I made my way towards the tree house we originally encountered each other, I looked up to the sky and saw it was quickly getting dark so I quickened my pace towards the tree house and entered. due to darkness outside I could barely see anything in the room but I did find a knocked over couch. I used one of my hands to put it back how it originally were I placed the yellow pegasus on the soft material and she snuggly sank into the couch. ”cute” I thought. I hit my my claws together and created a spark and a temporary light source, I did this over and over again until I found some candles. I found a second couch that was knocked over, it laid opposite of the couch were the pegasus lay. I put some lit candles on the ground and took my claws of I put them underneath the couch, I looked down onto myself and remembered all the blood that had was splattered on it, I sighed and stripped down naked and put my clothes next to my claws underneath the couch. I grabbed two blankets on the floor and draped it over the sleeping Pegasus's body, I looked on it’s sleeping form and smiled. I laid down onto the bed and draped the second blanket over my naked form. closed my eyes and let my body sink into the land of unconsciousness. “Please help us” A voice echoed “you need to help us all” I tried to locate were the voice came from but all I could see was blackness “Please whoever you are you need to help us” I continued to try and feel around the darkness for any light switch or any wall at all “My name is princess Luna and you are the only one who can save us” my eyes shot up and flew up into a sitting position I looked around the room to see who was talking but I didn’t see anyone, I finally calmed down enough and looked over to were the pegasus lay, she was still sleeping. I reached under my couch and felt the fabric of my clothes grace my fingers, I got a good grip on them and pulled them up from under the couch. I looked around and saw a kitchen with a tap. I walked over to it bare naked and turned the tab on, water flowed out, thanks to the special fabric in my clothes the blood came right of along with any foreign substance. I submerged my clothes in the water for a few seconds and the water quickly green, I pulled them up again. the fabric became dry in a couple seconds and I threw them on. I walked over towards the sleeping pegasus and knelt down next to her. “Hey wake up sleepy head” I whispered. The pegasus opened it’s eyes slowly and looked up at me, it stared at me for a few seconds until it spoke. “Good Morning” she said, I could hear from it’s voice that it was feminine. I smiled and responded. “Good Morning to you too” I patted her head and got up to a standing position again. I walked over to one of the windows next to the door and pulled the curtains away, I immediately dragged the curtains back as I saw loads of those bug creatures from yesterday. I looked back at the pegasi and alerted her. “We need to go now, theres loads of those things out there” I said in a hushed tone. I peeked out of the curtains to see what they were doing, they were going into different houses and later came out again. “What are they doing?” A soft voice emanated behind me. I looked for a few more seconds until I responded. “I don’t know, I think they’re looking for something...I think they’re looking for...us” A sudden realization hit me like a tidal wave. “We need to get out of here fast” I said The pegasus jumped down from the couch and spoke up. “There’s a window upstairs, we can jump down from there” I nodded I snatched my claws up from under the couch and quickly ran up the stairs, we entered the bedroom and saw a on the far right on the room. I looked out the window and just saw a couple of bug creatures in the distance but it was nothing to worry about. I heard the door down stairs being kicked open “search the house!!” A raspy voice called out, following the command I heard things being knocked over and hooves hotting wooden floor. I opened the window and prompted the pegasus to jump down into the bushes below, she quickly climbed out the window and jumped out, I looked out the window and saw her using her wings to dampen the fall and fall into the bushes, I swiftly followed and jumped out the window, I landed on all four and the pegasus was looking at me. I peeked out the bushes and saw no bugs, I looked back to the pegasus and spoke. “Get on my back, I can get out of here faster” She looked at me nervously. “A-are you sure?” “Yes I’m sure, now get on!” I said in a commanding voice. “Y-you don’t h-have to” She silently said. I clenched my teeth. “Get on!!” I sternly said. “EEP” came from the pegasus and she slowly proceeded to get on my back. I peeked out of the bushes one last time and saw nothing, I ready for a sprint, I smiled. “Of we go” I said. I burst out the bushes on all fours. I ran for a few seconds on all fours until I heard a distant voice. “What is that?” and a second voice “Catch it” along with loads of voices yelling after me. I put an extra boost into my sprinting. the distant voices quickly dissipated when I exited the town, I quickly entered the forest were I had originally come from, I ran far into the forest to make sure we were safe. I exited into a small clearing and felt my legs giving out and fell on my stomach, I felt the pegasus on my back slowly get of and she sat in front me now. “A-are you alright?” she asked in a caring voice. “I’m fine” I simply answered. “They hide, I seek, that’s how it should be” I chuckled. “O-okay” She responded. I got up and sat down onto the ground I looked on the pegasus I thought this would be the best time to get some answers “Hey” The pegasus looked at me “What’s your name?” The pegasus looked down onto the ground and spoke, “Oh well my name is Fluttershy. “Excuse me?” I said “My name is Flutter[/size]shy “Fluttershy, alright. My name is Koshka.” “Oh nice to meet you Koshka” Fluttershy said with a smile. “Same to you. anyway, What are those creatures back there.” “Oh they are called Changelings, they can turn into anypony they want and imitate their personality along with anything else the original pony can or can’t do.” I nodded and continued my line of questioning. “What happened to the town.” Her ears dropped down to her head and she looked down once again. “T-the changelings attacked Ponyville and all of Equestria” I got confused ”Equestria? Never heard of that” I thought. I was about to ask about it, but It was not the most important subject right now. “Why did they attack?” “They wanted my friend Twilight Sparkles machine, It was a machine that was suppoded to travel between worlds but It required a high amount of energy to do so, so she stopped the project, but when word came out about a machine that could potentially travel between worlds the changelings wanted it for some reason, I’m not sure why.” She finished. “Where are all other ponies now?.” I decided this was gonna be the last question as I saw the line of questioning was upsetting Fluttershy. Fluttershy was still looking down onto the ground and tears started forming in her eyes and a couple of seconds later she answered. “I don’t know.” She simply said but she spoke up again “I don’t want to be alone anymore, I miss my animals, I miss Angle, I miss my friends.” at this point tears were flowing down her eyes and on to the ground “I don’t know where they are, I don’t know if they're dead or alive, I don’t know what will happen if I never see them again.” I detached my claws and made my way closer to her and wrapped my arms around her. “Don’t worry you will see them again I promise” I said in a soothing voice “H-how do I know?” she said through sobs. “Because I’ll make sure that happens” We sat there for a few minutes in each others embrace until I decided to speak up. “We should get some wood” [size=1.5em]Location: Canterlot Perspective: Red Fang[/size I walked up towards the queen Chrysalis throne room, two body guards were standing in front of the throne room door and they were wearing blue body armor, they swiftly opened the doors when they caught sight of me and they saluted. I entered the throne room and walked towards Queen Chrysalis who were sitting in her throne, to her left and right were two green pods with some sort of green liquid inside of it, both pods contained Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, they both looked at Chrysalis with hatred in their eyes. “My queen.” I said as I bowed “Requesting permission to speak” “Granted” Chrysalis said as she looked down at a stack of paper. rose up again to all fours and started speaking again. “Two of our fellow brothers have been found dead in the Ponyville resident.” Chrysalis looked up from the stack of paper and spoke. “Do we know who did this?” “We aren’t sure but two of our brothers said they had sighted a weird creature carrying something on it’s back” Chrysalis continued to look at me and I continued “They say that it looked like a pony where riding this creature, from what they described this pony as, it seems to match the description of the sixth element and the creature as something they had never seen before, It had extremely long appendages and it seemed to have two big ears on it’s head, that’s all they could see before it vanished into the Everfree forest.” Chrysalis looked down the stack of paper again and spoke. “I want you and your squad to find them and bring them to me, I will handle them personally and if you bring me both of them I will let you see your little mare once again.” “Yes my queen.” I said. I turned and started making my way out of the throne room but a voice stopped me. “Also,” Chrysalis spoke up “Is our new subject doing well?” I turned and answered her. “Yes, It’a very resilient to all our tests.” “What is the current status?” she asked. “Our current status of it is currently 20% done, we are following it’s exact requests and it’s making great progress.” Chrysalis smiled and put the stack of paper down onto the table in front of her. “We are ready for a feild test in just a few days.” “Alright commander, Dismissed” “Yes my queen.” I bowed once again and turned to make my way out of the throne room. The guard gave me a salute once again and I sighed. ”When will this nightmare end?” Chapter 2**Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Koshka** “Hey, are you alright?” I asked Fluttershy. I noticed that Fluttershy didn't look at me for the whole day, whenever we would make eye contact she would immediately shift her eyes away from me and look down onto the ground or up in the trees. She had done this several times before I asked her. Fluttershy sighed and spoke, “Well I'm just thinking about what you did to those two changelings.” I just huffed and said, “They got what they deserved, they were changelings after all.” I grabbed a bunch of sticks and leaves out of a bush and started building a small shelter. “I-I know they were changelings but…” She paused for a moment “...but why did they deserve to...die like that?” I put one of the sticks in my mouth and continued working. “Because bad things happen to bad people when I'm around.” I said through clenched teeth. “Oh...right” She said in a quiet voice. I took the stick out of my mouth and placed it in it's proper place. “there we go!” I said with a hint of pride in my voice. “What do you think?” I asked Fluttershy with a smile on my face “Oh well, it looks nice” I looked at the shelter and smiled. The shelter was big enough to fit an adult and a small child. “Now all we need Is a fire.” I grabbed a couple of sticks and rocks and started working again. As I worked, Fluttershy spoke up again “Koshka?” Fluttershy gently asked “Yes, Fluttershy” I responded whilst attempting to start a flame with my claws. “Well this has been on my mind lately and I hope you don't mind at me asking but…” There was a moment of hesitation "...What are you?" I stopped what I was doing and looked at her. Fluttershy immediately covered her face in her hooves "YOU DON'T HAVE TO RESPOND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO!!" She frantically yelled. “No it's fine, but you don’t know what I am?” I looked at her with raised eyebrows. Fluttershy removed her hooves slowly from her face and and spoke again. “N-No I don’t, I have never seen a creature like you and I’ve worked with animals my whole life.” she said quietly. “Okay” I was skeptical but I answered her question, “Well I’m a Human” “A houman?” Fluttershy repeated quirky. “Human” I repeated “Hu-Human” She correctly said. “Yes human.” “I’ve never heard of humans before and I’ve worked with all types of animals.” she said “Hmm, well I never knew that pegasis really existed” Fluttershy looked up at me in shock. “Wait you’ve never seen a pegasus?” I shrugged my shoulders. “not where I’m from” I picked up the sticks and rocks again and started working on the fire again, I looked up onto the sky and saw the sky was starting to get grey. “Where are you from?” Fluttershy asked. “I’m from my home village Catalysian” I said. Fluttershy cocked her head locked very confused. “I’ve never heard of a village called Catalysian in Equestria.” I looked over my shoulder and asked. “Again, with that Equestria, what are you talking about?” Fluttershy looked at me and sighed. “*Sigh* Okay let's talk.” **Location: Canterlot armory Perspective: Red Fang** “Okay men stand up!!” I barked out to my squad, they all stood up and gave salutes. I looked over my soldiers one by one to make sure they were all here. “Okay men we have two targets!” All of them looked at me “One of the targets are presumed to be the sixth element and the second target is an unknown creature that killed two scouts in Ponyville” I charged my horn and displayed a picture of the two corpses on the wall” I looked over my squad and saw different reactions on their faces, disgust, anger, fear. Even I got a bit sick when looking at them. “They were last seen entering the everfree forest so when we are entering the Everfree forest you all need to be extremely cautious and only travel in a minimum group of three. Do you understand.” All of my soldiers responded “SIR! YES! SIR!” “Alright, armor up men!” I barked. **Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Koshka** “So this is not earth?” I asked, Fluttershy nodded “... and this is planet is called Equine?” Fluttershy nodded again. “I’m no longer in halcyon fold, but a land called Equestria?” Fluttershy nodded for the third and final time “Oh...” I simply said, It was all I could do other then call her a liar or think i’m insane. I’ve just been pulled from my own world and into a different world were intelligent ponies, pegasi and unicorns exist, what were I suppose to do? “Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked worriedly. I didn’t respond. I felt one drop of water fall from the grey sky and onto my nose, I didn’t react, I just sat there not knowing what to think. “Koshka, Are you alri-” Fluttershy didn’t get to finish before I stood up and started walking away “I’m going for a walk” I quietly said. “Oh, okay” Fluttershy responded. 1 Hour Later I wandered around the forest contemplating the new information I had been given. “Another world? That’s crazy!” I said out loud “But I’ve never seen a real pegasi or weird bug creatures before” I looked up to the clouds and saw they were a dark grey color and a few drops of water fell every second onto my face, I sighed. “I should probably get back the the ca-” My words were cut of as I felt my foot get snagged on something, My body tumbled down face first into the cold and muddy ground, with a loud “Umph” on my part. I landed on my stomach. I quickly shoot to my feet ready to attack, but when I turned around I saw the perpetrator to my fall, a root. I sighed once again and turned around again, I saw something I didn’t see before, a hut, the hut was adorned with tribal masks and a few spears here and there, there were also windows on the hut but there was no light emanating from them. I stepped closer to the hut quietly and gently pushed the door open, The door opened with a small creck. I looked inside and saw a huge pot in the middle of the room, different bottles adorned the walls and even more tribal masks was laying on the ground. “Hello?” No answer. I stepped inside and looked around a bit more, “Is anyone here?” Still no answer. I noticed a wall and the far end of the hut and I stepped inside, I wandered over towards the wall that adorned a good amount of bottles, each bottle were noted with different names such as, Jump potion, cloak potion, healing potion, along with many other things, but the healing potion was what I was interested in. I pulled up my two vials that luckily was still attached to my side, I pulled of the cap of the two vials and carefully poured the liquid into the vials. “There we go” I said smiling. **Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Fluttershy** I’m sitting inside the small shelter that Koshka had built and listening to the sound of the forest, well, trying to. “I hope Koshka comes back soon, it’s starting to get pretty dark now.” I looked up to the sky and saw that it was starting to become darker and darker. By this time I had noticed that there were very few sounds coming from the forest, the occasional sound of the wind or the sounds of crickets where the only thing that kept me from falling asleep from boredom. **Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Koshka** I made my way out of the strange hut and starting making my way back towards our camp, I hadn’t noticed anything else in the hut except for more potions but these didn’t have any labels on them so I left them be. I looked up and saw the sky rapidly losing light so I started running back to the camp. I got back to the camp in a few minutes and saw Fluttershy sleeping in the shelter, the sky was almost black and the cold was starting to set in fast. I swiftly sparked a fire with my claws and put it next to the shelter. I got down onto my hands and knees and started crawling into the small shelter, I stopped in my tracks when I noticed “Light?” I said out loud. There was a light faintly emanating from between the trees. I set my sights on it and started heading towards it. The light got stronger and stronger the closer I got to it and eventually I started hearing a voice. “Listen here ya weird dragon, worm...thingy, I don’t know what ya want from me so can ya just leave” his request was countered by a weird gurgling sound. I swore I could recognized the voice from somewhere but I couldn’t recall it. The voice was gruff and and was muffled by something and definitely belonged to a man. I got closer to the light and realized it was a fireplace with two figures each sitting their separate logs with just the fire separating them. The first figure was just how the man had described it, a worm looking dragon thing, but when I looked at the second figure I lost my breath, I knew I recognized that voice from somewhere and why the voice was so muffled “Saw!?” I practically yelled out of confusion and joy. Saw quickly shot his head up at me upon hearing my voice “Koshka?” He said in a less joyful and more in a confused tone. I stepped out from the bush I was hiding in and confronted him. “What are you doing here?” I asked, Saw Chuckled and responded “I could ask the same thing about you.” I proceeded with my next question “Do you know how we got here?” Saw simply responded with “No idea, I was in the lane taking care of that chick with the bow, and then all the sudden everything went white and I was falling, then ended up here.” He finished. I shifted my eyes towards the Worm-dragon next to him and then back to Saw. “Is that your friend?” I asked, Saw looked up from the flames and unto the creature. “I don’t know, the creature have been following me around and bugging me since I arrived” The creature growled at him. Saw looked at me, except he looked at my feet “Is that your friend?” He asked. “What?” I looked down to my side and saw Fluttershy with her mouth agape. “Fluttershy! What are you doing here? How did you even f-” My sentence was cut of by “OH MY CELESTIA IT’S SO CUUUTE!!” Fluttershy darted over towards the dragon creature and started petting it “...find...us.” I finished “Huh, I didn’t know horses could talk” He said in his regular gruff voice. I stared at him in shock “Wait you’re not freaked out that it’s a pegasus and the fact it can talk” Saw chuckled again “I’ve seen weirder things.” Fluttershy was sitting next to the dragon-worm and seemed to be talking to it. “Fluttershy!” I called to her she looked up at me “Why are you talking to that thing?” Fluttershy got and angry look on her face as soon as I said thing. “It’s not just a Thing, It’s a dragon and his name is Skaarf!” The tension in the air got heavy and we all went silent. Fluttershy sighed and spoke “I’m sorry, I’ve worked with animals my whole life and I have a deep respect for these creatures.” A smile formed it’s way on my face. “I understand.” I responded. Saw looked Fluttershy and Fluttershy immediately froze upon meeting his gaze “H-H-Hello” Fluttershy squeaked out. Saw didn’t look away “greetings ma’am, so can you communicate with dragons?” Fluttershy looked nervous, I made my way over to her side and put a clawed hand gently on her shoulder and she calmed down enough. “W-well yes, Even if I find the big ones scary I still learned how to speak dragon so I could talk to the smaller ones.” Saw looked down into the fire again “Well can you translate what this thing has been trying to say since I got here?” Fluttershy nodded and looked at the dragon again, the dragon growled and hissed for a few seconds and Fluttershy got wide eyed, me and Saw looked at her for a few seconds until I decided to speak up “Well, What did he say?” Fluttershy slowly turned her head towards me and silently said “...” “...” “It’s coming”
PrologueAs me and two of my fellow mercenaries entered the dimly lit room, we see armed guards in each corner of the room, they were all covering their faces with Goggles and fabric that covered their mouth, the fabric displayed a skull face on each one and they carried assault rifles. The guards escorting us closed the door behind us and a loud *Thud* escaped the metal doors as they were closed and looked tight. In the center of the room there were three chairs, we all went and sat down onto each chair. We all sat in silence until I decided to speak up, “I haven't done this is aaages hehe” I giggled at the end of my sentence. I looked to my left and right to see if any of my company had found my comment funny, no one gave me as much as a glance, to my left was a man with huge hands and muscles, his face was covered with a mask and he was wearing an orange metal chestplate, to my right was a woman with a robotic arm, she also had a satchel on her side, she was wearing a white uniform along with a hat, she was really pretty. I continued to inspect them both but mostly the woman, until I heard a loud 'crack' and 'Boom' “Stand up maggots!” A man said as he walked into room, he had kicked the door open leaving a big mark from where the door handle hit the wall, the man was bald and had a scar running across his left eye, he was also heavily armored along with two guards standing to the left and right of him. we did as he said, we all assumed that he was our commander and employer, “You all know why you were hired for this job!” he yelled out over the room “SIR! YES! SIR!” my two companions answered in unison, I was confused and didn't know what to do. “Good!” he said in a more calm but still commanding voice. We all went back to sitting on our designated chairs and the commander spoke up again. “I will go over the mission.” A hologram picture, popped up on a table behind him, he walked behind the table and motioned for us to get up, we all walked up towards the table and realized that this was not a photo, but a live video of the current battle going on. there was not much happening other then a few creatures walking around and occasionally meet each other and fight, there wasn't much time to watch until our commander spoke up, “Okay, this is the battle zone, I will inform you all on your positions” He pointed up on the lane where all the turrets stood and spoke again, “Saw your position is up here, along with Catherine. Catherine will be protecting you if from any sneak attacks and if things gets hairy she will make sure that you survive, are we clear?” Saw and Catherine looked at each other and nodded, “Sure” Saw said, his voice was scruffy and it was muffled by his mask but sounded surprisingly sophisticated. “Yes sir"” Catherine confirmed, her voice was feminine but still very commanding and would problably scare any man who would challenge her, I loved it. The commander spoke up again, “For you, Koshka” My ears perked up at hearing my name. “You will be tasked with clearing the jungle area, make sure no enemies breach our line of defense, you will also make sure to capture the minion mines, it will give us extra energy and we can spend that on Minions, are we clear?” “Sure!” I responded in a cheery voice “Oooh, this is gonna be so much fun!” I clapped my hands together unable to contain myself, the commander, Saw and Catherine looked at me like I was crazy. I slumped down to the floor and got onto my knees as an attempt to get away from the embarrassment. “Sorry.”I whispered. The commander sighed, “*Sigh* Alright, You all have the mission to destroy the enemies energy crystal, but don't let them destroy ours, If you let the enemy breach our defenses and let them destroy our energy crystal, we wont have enough energy to power our facilities and you won't be payed.” the commander looked up from the table and onto us, we all gave a nod of understanding. the commander spoke up again, “A helicopter will pick you up and transport you to your destination” We all nodded again. “alright, dismissed!” he barked out. We all turned and made our way towards the door, we walked down the hall and were promptly given back our weapons that we previously obligated to turn in. Saw swung his gatling gun over his shoulders and Catherine put her shield on her back, I inserted my hand into my claws and the familiar clicks and hisses came from the machine as it locked tight around my hands and connected to my nervous system in my arms, We got to the exit and got out, it looked just like how it was before we entered, there was human soldiers and minions talking and interacting with each other, the sky was grey and brown and I immediately got bored, Luckily we didn't have much time to watch before we saw a helicopter with gatling guns and missiles approaching the base, the helicopter landed and soldiers walked out from it, one soldier walked towards the trio of us and started speaking. “This is the helicopter that will take you to the battle zone!!” he shouted over the loud helicopter. he continued with his comrades and we started to make our way towards the helicopter. Suddenly a thought came to mind, “SHOTGUN!” I shouted and dashed towards the passenger side of the helicopter. I opened the door and sat down. I looked to my left towards the driver and saw him looking at me like I was crazy. Saw and Catherine had gotten in the back of the helicopter and placed their weapons by their feet. The helicopter rose from the ground and started heading towards our destination. 2 hours later “I'm soooo booored” I said, “WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP!!!” the pilot yelled at me, He followed up with “YOU'VE SAID THAT A HUNDRED TIMES ALREADY!!!” I just leaned my head on the glass not caring about what he said. “I knooow, but it's sooo boring,” I said again "Are we there yet?" “Yes we're almost there.” he said throug clenched teeth. There wasn't long until we broke out of the clouds and we were faced with a giant floating rock, I looked down and saw there was mist covering the ground underneath the rock, On the giant rock was the battle zone we had previously looked at. I didn't have much time to look before the pilot spoke. “Okay I'm gonna drop you off he-” His sentence was cut off by a loud boom from the helicopter. I didn't realize what was going on until I heard the pilot screaming, “WE'RE GOING DOWN!!!” I looked back and saw that Catherine and Saw were missing. I decided to make my way to the back and jump out. I landed on the cold dirt ground on all four and I looked up to see the helicopter spinning with smoke coming from it's back. Suddenly a red beam appeared and it was pointing at the helicopter, the red beam turned blue and the helicopter exploded into tiny pieces. I looked around and saw both Catherine and Saw readying their weapons, I checked my claws for damages and luckily it didn't appear to be any. Saw spoke up, “Okay, we will proceed with the original plan.” “Right!” Me and Catherine said. We all made a sprint for our assigned areas and I made it into the jungle and Catherine and Saw continued up ahead towards the lane. I was disappointed that I couldn't be with Catharine, but it would problably be for the better. It wasn't long before I encountered a bunch monster wandering around the jungle. These monsters looked like orcs only with horns and they were yellow and completely naked. I quickly did my duty and neutralized them, as the commander would call it, or how I would say, tare them into bloody shreds. I had received a couple of injuries during these fights but luckily I had a couple of healing potions on me so I was okay. I grabbed a healing potion hanging on my side and quickly chugged it down, “Ugh, yuck. No wonder this is so cheap.” I said in disgust I looked down onto my body and saw the few scratches and cuts I've receivedstarted to close and the pain were quickly subsiding. “Well, you're doing your job at least.” I put the now empty bottle back onto my side and proceeded to have a look around. I didn't see much other than trees and bushes, but I heard Saw's gatling gun and him screaming, Eat some lead!! “I guess they have it all under control” I said to myself. I started to relax a bit and I heard an oh so familiar voice. “Hello there...” Was the only thing I heard before my entire body erupted in pain, I screamed, and from where the force of whatever had hit me, I had been knocked far away from where I originally stood and where now laying face down. “...Little sister.” The familiar voice finished. I laid there on the grassy ground riving in pain, my whole body felt like it was on fire but as quickly as it appeared it disappeared, I got up from the ground, everything was blurry but I could still make out a figure standing just a few meters away from me. it was tall, taller than me, It seems to have two big ears and orange hair and a big bushy tail “No, it can't be” My head repeated, My vision suddenly came back to normal and I saw what I was dreading, “T-Taka?” Even though His mouth was covered, I could still see a smile on his face. “Hmm, strange, no one have ever survived my X-Retsu before, you won't tell anyone, would you?” He finished sarcastically. I tried to get up onto my feet but I was extremely disoriented and fell down onto my side again. “Oh come on, I thought you were a lot stronger than this.” he sighed. “What a disappointment” he finished. I managed to finally get up onto my feet but I still felt a bit disoriented and fell down onto one knee. Taka started making his way slowly towards me. “Why do I walk when I can do that somersault thing?” He continued to make his way towards me. “Remember that dear sister?” I finally recovered myself and got up onto my feet. “Brother, what have you become!?” I yelled out. “Well a little bit of this and a little bit of that” he said in a mocking tone but suddenly his robotic eye glowed andhe spoke up again. “So, I've become better.” He responded seriously Two blades extended from his arms and he charged at me, he brought his swords over his head and brought them down onto me. I didn't have enough time to evade so the only thing I could do was to grab the swords, I raised my claws above my head and grabbed the swords, there wasn't long wait until Taka delivered a swift kick to my stomach, I lost my grip and fell over onto my back. I coughed up blood and I closed my eyes because of the pain. I opened my eyes and saw Taka standing over me, he didn't wait a second until he drove his sword through my shoulder. “AAAHHHH!!!” I shouted out. blood started pouring out from the hole. Taka lifted my body up in front of him by the sword, His sword too long for me too reach him so all I could do was scream and fight back. He started walking to a big blue glowing crystal rock and drove his sword, along with me into it, so now I was hanging by my shoulder with a sword driven through a rock, he detached his sword from it's holster and backed away from me. Tears started forming in my eyes and I asked Taka, “Why are you doing this?I thought we were siblings ” I asked with tears streaming from my eyes. Taka just stood still, he looked down to the ground and stayed quiet. “Please” I whimpered. Taka stayed quiet for a few more seconds until he spoke up, “You left her.” He said silently. “W-what?” I managed to get out. This seemed to strike a nerve on Taka and he shouted, “YOU LEFT OUR MOTHER!!!” I didn't understand what he was saying, “YOU LEFT HER TO DIE!!!” “I-I don't understand what you're talking about” Tears were streaming down my face as Taka buried his face in his hands and started crying as well. “We could've lived a normal life, me, you and mom, it would have all been so great. We could've played together, we could've grown up together, we could've been brother and sister together.” He fell onto his knees, his hands were still covering his face and his one working eye were flowing with crystal clear tears while the other mechanical eye were spewing out a blood red tears. “P-Please, I'm sorry for whatever I did.” Taka's crying subdued and he rose up to his feet. “You will be” was the only thing I heard. As quick as lighting he was already in front of me, his arm raised with sword ready to end my life, I closed my eyes preparing for my impending doom. I saw my life flash before my eyes, yet there was still something that felt missing. “Mom” Was the first thought that popped into my head. "BLAST TREMOR!!!" A familiar voice shouted out. I opened my eyes to see Taka being blasted off me by a purple energy force into a nearby tree, his body lay motionless and I felt a wave of relief come over me. I looked towards where my saviors voice had originated from, I saw Catherine stepping out from a bush and gave me a weak smile. “Looks like you're in bit of trouble.” I gave a weak smile back but that smile quickly disappeared when I realized what trouble she was talking about. I looked down onto my shoulder and saw the sword still stuck to me and the crystal, Catherine stood in front of me and with one strong pull of her metal arm, the sword dislodged and I fell down to my knees, I was about to fall onto my stomach if it wasn't for Catherine catching me, Catherine kneeled down in front of me and grabbed the second healing potion hanging on my side. I tilted my head upwards and got a good look on her face, she was so beautiful, a lot more up-close. her eyes, her skin, her everything was perfect. Catherine brought the vial up to my face and I opened my mouth, I let Catherine pour the liquid into my mouth, I didn't care that the liquid tasted foul, all I cared about was to watch into those beautiful eyes of hers and hers into mine, and for her to keep holding me tight, I didn't want this moment to end, I've never wanted something so bad in my life, But just like all things good. It had to come to an end. Catherine finished pouring the liquid, into my mouth and my newly acquired wounds started closing on them self but it wasn't quick. Catherine spoke up, “Okay, let's go.” a part of me died inside, but I knew we couldn't stay here for long, She picked me up and helped me standing by putting my arm around her neck and carried some of my weight, We had ony walked for a few minutes before I decided to speak up. “You're very beautiful.” I groggily spoke up Catherine was quiet for a few seconds before she spoke up, “Well thank you, but now is not the time for that.” I smiled and responded, “I know, I just couldn't resist myself” We shared a small laugh and Catherine spoke up again, “Come on just a few more minutes and I'll fix you u-” Her voice was cut short and we stopped dead in our tracks. I got confused by this and looked up onto Catherine's face, her face had turned snow white and lacked any emotions, I looked down onto her body, trough her stomach was something sharp and metallic sticking out covered in blood. The object retreated back into her body and she fell onto her knees, so did I. “Catherine? Catherine!?” I shook her and got no response. I quickly looked behind us and saw Taka, one of his swords were out and it was covered in blood. “You, You, You...” I kept repeating. I didn't know what I felt in that moment, sadness, anger, hatred, I didn't know witch one I should feel, but eventually my body just decided to act on it's own. "YOU BASTARD!!!" I shouted out. I got ready to pounce on him but as quickly as I was about to something hard hitting my stomach, this forced me back a long distance and I fell onto my back again, I had learned from my previous encounter and immediately looked up, I saw Catherine with her metal arm outstretched and hand curled into a fist, she had a smile on her face and it wasn't long until she turned and grabbed Taka by his chest, he struggled a lot but did not manage to break free from her metal grip She grabbed something from her satchel, it looked like a ball with white flowing liquid inside, she squeezed the ball until it made a 'Pop' and 'Crack'. White mist flew around her hand she held it close to her chest, the light emanating from from the mist got stronger with every second, I knew what she was doing and I couldn't let it happen. Taka struggled to get away from her grasp but she didn't let him go. I was about to get up until 0I felt an immense pain in my stomach and I fell down onto my hands and knees. The light kept getting stronger and stronger, Catherine still kept a smile on her face and she muttered some words I will never forget. “Thank you.” she said softly. Those words gave me the strength to get to her, I leaped for her and I wrapped my arms around her, Tears were streaming down my face and I yelled at her, “PLEASE DON’T LEAVE M-” Were the only words I could get out before my world turned white Please anypony, Help us! My eyes shoot open with a gasp, I was laying on the ground on my back. I shoot up from the ground ready to attack, but I saw nothing. I looked around some more until I finally calmed down enough so I sat down onto the ground again “What Happen?” I asked no one in particular. I tried to remember what had happen before I got here but It's blank. “I was in the jungle and Catharine...saved me, but from what? OHH I don't remember!” I couldn’t recall anything, just blank. I grabbed my head with my claws and closed my eyes trying to remember the events that transpired, but again it was just blank. I opened my eyes slowly and looked around my surroundings, There were trees, much more trees than before, I looked up and saw a big hole in the trees were I originally laid, sun rays were shining through the hole. there were also leaves and tree branches all around the spot “I guess I must have fallen” I said out loud. I turned around and looked in a random direction. sun rays where going through each crack of the leaves and the pollen reflected the light hitting them, It looked magical I would call it. I looked down onto my body to see if I had sustained any injuries, surprisingly I hadn't gotten any except for a few scratches but these weren't worth wasting the few drops of the healing potion I have left. I decided to find my way back to camp and get out of this place and hopefully find Catharine, so I started to walk. 30 Minutes later I had wandered around for sometime now but unfortunately I had not stumbled upon any camp or anything familiar at all, there were just more trees and there were not even any animals or monsters except for the occasional rabbit or distant howling. Eventually I saw the forest starting to clear up and trees started to get less frequent. I exited the the forest and felt the sun engulf my body, It felt nice. I looked around and saw hills without any trees on them. I wandered over a small hill and I noticed a small town in the distance. The town looked empty, there where no animals, no people, nothing. I thought this was strange and decided to investigate I made a dash towards the village and it took a couple of minutes. When I got closer and closet to the village I got a good look on each of the houses, the houses looked medieval and old, another strange thing was that they where really small, the door to each house only reached up to my forehead. I looked into all windows of every house I could see, and in each one looked trashed, it looked like someone had fought. the streets where still empty and quiet, no one was in sight. I decided it would be best if I explored some more, so I headed down the road I was on, 10 Minutes later I have walked around this place and so far I haven’t seen a single person or animal I thought this couldn’t get any weirder, I was wrong. I continued to walk around until I saw something that looked like a gingerbread house. I was about to go and explore it but I stopped myself, I didn't trust myself to not eat the entire house so I continued walking. I continued down the road until I noticed the second weirdest thing today. It looked like a tree house, but not a tree house you build onto a tree, no, this one looked like it had been carved out of the tree itself. “This I have to check out” I said with a smile on my face I made my way towards the door of the giant treehouse and just like the other houses the door only reached up to my forehead. I was about grab the door handle but I stopped myself and remembered what I should do first. “Oh right, I should knock, you gotta be polite” I raised my clawed hand and knocked on the door. ‘Knock, Knock, Creak’ The door creaked open on my second knock, so I decided that I might as well go in. I pushed the door open and it gave away a long drawn out creak, I ducked under the door frame and stepped inside, the room was dark but I could still see it faintly, the room looked like a library and just like all other buildings it looked completely trashed, books were laying all over the floor, almost as it had been a struggle, the most strange thing about this room was that there was a big hole on one of the book shelves, it also looked like there where burn marks around the hole. Hm, strange I thought to myself. I took a couple of steps inside the house and saw a stairway leading to a second floor, I had already seen everything on the first floor and decided it would be best to explore the second floor as well. I headed up the stairs and looked to my left, I noticed a hallway, there were only two doors and both looked to have been kicked in because both were laying on the ground inside the rooms. I ducked once again to avoid getting hit in the head and entered the first room. The room looked like a typical bedroom, a bed, a desk and a closet. The bed looked to be two times smaller than a regular bed, but I didn't pay it to much attention. I stepped out of the room and walked over to the second room, this room was the bathroom so I didn't need to enter it to know what's in there. I walked down the stairs again and sighed, “I guess this was just a waste of time” I proceeded over towards the front door but not before having a second glance, This time I noticed a second door in the far back of the room, I probably didn't notice It before due to my eyes not adjusting to the dark. I stopped and turned towards the door. I started walking towards the door and I got a good look at it, the door didn't seem to have any signs of had been damaged in any way. I reached for the door knob and twisted it, I only got it open a few centimeters until it abruptly stopped, the door seemed to have been blocked of. “A quick fix” I said. I performed a roundhouse kick to the door and whatever was blocking it promptly got blown away along with the door who cracked of it's hinges, the door and whatever was blocking it made a loud sound when they seemed tumble down a flight of stairs. I stepped in front of the doorway and my suspicion was confirmed, there were a flight of stairs, they looked like they were leading down to a basement area. I ducked once again and started walking down the stairs. I took slow and careful steps, Each step made a loud creek when I stepped on them. Once I got to last few steps I could see the door laying on top of what looked to be a wardrobe, I stepped over these and looked over the basement and I couldn't see anything, The dim light that was emanating from upstairs did nothing to guide my way. Luckily I felt around the darkness and felt what seemed to be a lantern, I grabbed the lantern and snapped my two metal claws this produced a spark and the lantern lit up, it quickly lit up a good portion of the room and I could see that It was much bigger than I thought It would be. It was a square room with a big alter in the middle, there where screws and tools on the ground, I could only presume that something used to stand on top of the alter before whatever happened, happened. I inspected the room and noticed a few flipped over tables I didn’t pay them any mind so I made my way up the stairs. *squeek* I was about half way up the stairs until I heard what sounded like someone making a squeak when you scare them, I bolted my way down again making sure that my lantern didn’t die out and looked around, empty except the tables and the alter, I slowly but surely made my way towards the tables, making sure to keep one clawed hand ready for attack and the other keeping a tight grip on the lantern. My steps made a small dragging sound every-time they hit the cold stone floor. I was standing less than a meter away from the table and I grabbed the side of the table and flung it away, behind it was, nothing. I sighed and calmed down a bit. “I think I’m going craz-” my sentence was cut of by a loud thud on the first floor, I dropped the lantern and started running towards the stairs., When I reached the bottom stair I saw a big object being pushed in front of the door way. I propelled myself up the stairs and knocked over whatever object was blocking my way, I saw that the door was swinging so I ran out of the house I didn’t anything until I looked up, it looked like a horse, but with wings and it was yellow and it had a pink and lilac tail and mane. The little creature looked back at me with fear in it’s baby blue eyes. I ran after it and I made a big leap on top of a roof and got closer the yellow little creature, I noticed that it started going higher and higher, this was when I realized I had to get whatever this thing was down to the ground again. With all my strength I shoot up into the air, I grasped the creature in my claws and fell down onto the ground on my feet again. I put the creature on it’s back and put my claws around it’s neck and made sure it couldn’t wiggle it’s way out of my grasp. I didn’t know why I even wanted to catch this creature, I just felt like I had to. I looked down onto the little creature, it was cute but that disappeared when I saw tears running from it’s eyes. “Please don’t hurt me!” The thing cried out. My eyes widened. “What?"
Chapter 1“What?” I said astounded. I looked down onto the yellow creature in my claws and loosened my grip around it’s chest slightly. “Please don’t hurt me, I promise I will leave you alone” It spoke up again with tears in it’s eyes. The voice was definitely female and was a tone of pure terror. I took my claws off it’s chest and backed away from, I spoke up. “Hey don’t worry I won’t hurt you” I detached my claws from my hands and let them fall to the ground, a loud metal *Thunk* emanated from the metal hitting dirt, I put my now exposed hands in the air as if i was surrendering, the yellow little creature opened it’s eyes and looked up at me, It eyes had a moderate cyan color too it, it’s body was covered in light fur that was colored in a light gold color, it also sported two wings on each of it’s sides and a weird mark that depicted three butterflies on each side of it’s rear. The little creature looked at me and slowly got back onto it’s… “hooves?” I asked as I heard the a gentle clop come from the underside of her hooves when it made contact with the dirt ground. The little creature just looked at me with those cute eyes in confusion. I could still see that she was scared out of her mind of me so I was about too speak up until we both heard a voice in the distance. Ugh! Why do we have to go on these lookouts? we got enough ponies to make up for one element at least. do we really need the last one? A raspy voice spoke. A second voice appeared but this one a bit darker but just as raspy. If we use other ponies theres a big possibility that the machine will break or it will simply not work, you got that rookie? I didn’t catch the rest of the conversation until I heard the sound of hooves galloping away, I looked over towards where the yellow creature had been earlier and saw it running into an alleyway, I immediately sprinted into the same alleyway to hide from whatever had spoken. I came into the alleyway and saw the same creature sitting huddled in the corner. “What are you doing?” I asked. “Shhh” it hushed me “hide, don’t let them see you.” ”Let what see me?” I wondered. I stuck my head out the alleyway just in time to see to hideous creatures round the corner of a building. The creatures were completely black and there were holes in their legs , they wearied what seemed to be armor that were green and had a green glow to them. I continued watching until I heard one of the speak up.. “What’s that?” one of them asked. I looked around to see whatever it was looking at until I realized. I looked down onto my hands and saw noting, I looked around frantically around the alleyway until I remembered, I saw my claws in the middle of the road and the weird bug creatures were almost right by them. I wasn’t sure on what to do, so I just watched as the pair of claws started levitating. I watched in amazement as the claws spun around in circles, the bug creatures seemed to be inspecting them. I kept watching when one of the bug creatures spoke up again. “We should bring these back to base for further examination.” One of them said, the other one just nodded. They started walking back the way they came and just as they were passing the alleyway we were hiding in, I sprung out of the darkness and kicked one of them in the head, with the help of the sharp metal piece tied to my ankle I was able to deliver a small cut to the side of one of it’s face, green blood oozed from the wound and the bug creature backed up, It dropped one of my claws and I swiftly snatched it up and put my hand into it. I looked at the other creature and noticed a green light eminating from it’s horn, a green laser shoot out from the horn and coming towards me, I easily dodged it but I knew if I were to get hit, it would be the end of me. As soon as the claw had fully connected to my hand I swung it at one of the creatures. The armor was tough but nothing my claws could handle, I cut through one of it’s ribcage on it’s right side, green blood splattered my face and body, guts dropped down onto the ground and made audible thuds as intesdense hit the ground along side it’s body, there wasn’t long pause until a second laser beam headed straight for me couldn’t dodge it fully this time as it hit my arm I felt the skin and muscle sizzle as the beam hit it’s target I clenched my teeth and jumped into the air and raised my clawed arm above my head, “YOU BIG MEANIE!!!” I yelled as I brought my hand down onto it’s head. My claws cut though his armor and skull like butter. I jumped back and looked up just in time to see his head split open and and the two halves of it’s brain fall to the ground, It’s body following short after. I grabbed my other claw and put it on. I looked down onto the mangled corpses and scoffed at them. “Hff! no one takes my claws.” I turned around and looked at the alleyway, the yellow creature stood at it’s entrance. even if it was covered in fur I could still see that it was visibly green. It just stood there and looked back and forward on me and the corpses until it suddenly collapsed. I looked down onto me and saw the blood covering my body, I sighed and made my way over towards the yellow creature and picked it up and held it snuggly in my arms, careful so she didn’t get any blood on her. The pain from the laser beam didn’t hurt much and I was sure I could manage with out any treatment. I looked down onto the little creature and smiled. “Pegasus” I said “you’re a pegasus, I remembered stories my parents used to tell me” I felt a surge of old memories come back to me, how I used to work on these claws in the shed, how my mother and father used to tell me stories, how me and my brother used to...play. I shook my head trying not to delve on the past to much. I made my way towards the tree house we originally encountered each other, I looked up to the sky and saw it was quickly getting dark so I quickened my pace towards the tree house and entered. due to darkness outside I could barely see anything in the room but I did find a knocked over couch. I used one of my hands to put it back how it originally were I placed the yellow pegasus on the soft material and she snuggly sank into the couch. ”cute” I thought. I hit my my claws together and created a spark and a temporary light source, I did this over and over again until I found some candles. I found a second couch that was knocked over, it laid opposite of the couch were the pegasus lay. I put some lit candles on the ground and took my claws of I put them underneath the couch, I looked down onto myself and remembered all the blood that had was splattered on it, I sighed and stripped down naked and put my clothes next to my claws underneath the couch. I grabbed two blankets on the floor and draped it over the sleeping Pegasus's body, I looked on it’s sleeping form and smiled. I laid down onto the bed and draped the second blanket over my naked form. closed my eyes and let my body sink into the land of unconsciousness. “Please help us” A voice echoed “you need to help us all” I tried to locate were the voice came from but all I could see was blackness “Please whoever you are you need to help us” I continued to try and feel around the darkness for any light switch or any wall at all “My name is princess Luna and you are the only one who can save us” my eyes shot up and flew up into a sitting position I looked around the room to see who was talking but I didn’t see anyone, I finally calmed down enough and looked over to were the pegasus lay, she was still sleeping. I reached under my couch and felt the fabric of my clothes grace my fingers, I got a good grip on them and pulled them up from under the couch. I looked around and saw a kitchen with a tap. I walked over to it bare naked and turned the tab on, water flowed out, thanks to the special fabric in my clothes the blood came right of along with any foreign substance. I submerged my clothes in the water for a few seconds and the water quickly green, I pulled them up again. the fabric became dry in a couple seconds and I threw them on. I walked over towards the sleeping pegasus and knelt down next to her. “Hey wake up sleepy head” I whispered. The pegasus opened it’s eyes slowly and looked up at me, it stared at me for a few seconds until it spoke. “Good Morning” she said, I could hear from it’s voice that it was feminine. I smiled and responded. “Good Morning to you too” I patted her head and got up to a standing position again. I walked over to one of the windows next to the door and pulled the curtains away, I immediately dragged the curtains back as I saw loads of those bug creatures from yesterday. I looked back at the pegasi and alerted her. “We need to go now, theres loads of those things out there” I said in a hushed tone. I peeked out of the curtains to see what they were doing, they were going into different houses and later came out again. “What are they doing?” A soft voice emanated behind me. I looked for a few more seconds until I responded. “I don’t know, I think they’re looking for something...I think they’re looking for...us” A sudden realization hit me like a tidal wave. “We need to get out of here fast” I said The pegasus jumped down from the couch and spoke up. “There’s a window upstairs, we can jump down from there” I nodded I snatched my claws up from under the couch and quickly ran up the stairs, we entered the bedroom and saw a on the far right on the room. I looked out the window and just saw a couple of bug creatures in the distance but it was nothing to worry about. I heard the door down stairs being kicked open “search the house!!” A raspy voice called out, following the command I heard things being knocked over and hooves hotting wooden floor. I opened the window and prompted the pegasus to jump down into the bushes below, she quickly climbed out the window and jumped out, I looked out the window and saw her using her wings to dampen the fall and fall into the bushes, I swiftly followed and jumped out the window, I landed on all four and the pegasus was looking at me. I peeked out the bushes and saw no bugs, I looked back to the pegasus and spoke. “Get on my back, I can get out of here faster” She looked at me nervously. “A-are you sure?” “Yes I’m sure, now get on!” I said in a commanding voice. “Y-you don’t h-have to” She silently said. I clenched my teeth. “Get on!!” I sternly said. “EEP” came from the pegasus and she slowly proceeded to get on my back. I peeked out of the bushes one last time and saw nothing, I ready for a sprint, I smiled. “Of we go” I said. I burst out the bushes on all fours. I ran for a few seconds on all fours until I heard a distant voice. “What is that?” and a second voice “Catch it” along with loads of voices yelling after me. I put an extra boost into my sprinting. the distant voices quickly dissipated when I exited the town, I quickly entered the forest were I had originally come from, I ran far into the forest to make sure we were safe. I exited into a small clearing and felt my legs giving out and fell on my stomach, I felt the pegasus on my back slowly get of and she sat in front me now. “A-are you alright?” she asked in a caring voice. “I’m fine” I simply answered. “They hide, I seek, that’s how it should be” I chuckled. “O-okay” She responded. I got up and sat down onto the ground I looked on the pegasus I thought this would be the best time to get some answers “Hey” The pegasus looked at me “What’s your name?” The pegasus looked down onto the ground and spoke, “Oh well my name is Fluttershy. “Excuse me?” I said “My name is Flutter[/size]shy “Fluttershy, alright. My name is Koshka.” “Oh nice to meet you Koshka” Fluttershy said with a smile. “Same to you. anyway, What are those creatures back there.” “Oh they are called Changelings, they can turn into anypony they want and imitate their personality along with anything else the original pony can or can’t do.” I nodded and continued my line of questioning. “What happened to the town.” Her ears dropped down to her head and she looked down once again. “T-the changelings attacked Ponyville and all of Equestria” I got confused ”Equestria? Never heard of that” I thought. I was about to ask about it, but It was not the most important subject right now. “Why did they attack?” “They wanted my friend Twilight Sparkles machine, It was a machine that was suppoded to travel between worlds but It required a high amount of energy to do so, so she stopped the project, but when word came out about a machine that could potentially travel between worlds the changelings wanted it for some reason, I’m not sure why.” She finished. “Where are all other ponies now?.” I decided this was gonna be the last question as I saw the line of questioning was upsetting Fluttershy. Fluttershy was still looking down onto the ground and tears started forming in her eyes and a couple of seconds later she answered. “I don’t know.” She simply said but she spoke up again “I don’t want to be alone anymore, I miss my animals, I miss Angle, I miss my friends.” at this point tears were flowing down her eyes and on to the ground “I don’t know where they are, I don’t know if they're dead or alive, I don’t know what will happen if I never see them again.” I detached my claws and made my way closer to her and wrapped my arms around her. “Don’t worry you will see them again I promise” I said in a soothing voice “H-how do I know?” she said through sobs. “Because I’ll make sure that happens” We sat there for a few minutes in each others embrace until I decided to speak up. “We should get some wood” [size=1.5em]Location: Canterlot Perspective: Red Fang[/size I walked up towards the queen Chrysalis throne room, two body guards were standing in front of the throne room door and they were wearing blue body armor, they swiftly opened the doors when they caught sight of me and they saluted. I entered the throne room and walked towards Queen Chrysalis who were sitting in her throne, to her left and right were two green pods with some sort of green liquid inside of it, both pods contained Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, they both looked at Chrysalis with hatred in their eyes. “My queen.” I said as I bowed “Requesting permission to speak” “Granted” Chrysalis said as she looked down at a stack of paper. rose up again to all fours and started speaking again. “Two of our fellow brothers have been found dead in the Ponyville resident.” Chrysalis looked up from the stack of paper and spoke. “Do we know who did this?” “We aren’t sure but two of our brothers said they had sighted a weird creature carrying something on it’s back” Chrysalis continued to look at me and I continued “They say that it looked like a pony where riding this creature, from what they described this pony as, it seems to match the description of the sixth element and the creature as something they had never seen before, It had extremely long appendages and it seemed to have two big ears on it’s head, that’s all they could see before it vanished into the Everfree forest.” Chrysalis looked down the stack of paper again and spoke. “I want you and your squad to find them and bring them to me, I will handle them personally and if you bring me both of them I will let you see your little mare once again.” “Yes my queen.” I said. I turned and started making my way out of the throne room but a voice stopped me. “Also,” Chrysalis spoke up “Is our new subject doing well?” I turned and answered her. “Yes, It’a very resilient to all our tests.” “What is the current status?” she asked. “Our current status of it is currently 20% done, we are following it’s exact requests and it’s making great progress.” Chrysalis smiled and put the stack of paper down onto the table in front of her. “We are ready for a feild test in just a few days.” “Alright commander, Dismissed” “Yes my queen.” I bowed once again and turned to make my way out of the throne room. The guard gave me a salute once again and I sighed. ”When will this nightmare end?”
Chapter 2**Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Koshka** “Hey, are you alright?” I asked Fluttershy. I noticed that Fluttershy didn't look at me for the whole day, whenever we would make eye contact she would immediately shift her eyes away from me and look down onto the ground or up in the trees. She had done this several times before I asked her. Fluttershy sighed and spoke, “Well I'm just thinking about what you did to those two changelings.” I just huffed and said, “They got what they deserved, they were changelings after all.” I grabbed a bunch of sticks and leaves out of a bush and started building a small shelter. “I-I know they were changelings but…” She paused for a moment “...but why did they deserve to...die like that?” I put one of the sticks in my mouth and continued working. “Because bad things happen to bad people when I'm around.” I said through clenched teeth. “Oh...right” She said in a quiet voice. I took the stick out of my mouth and placed it in it's proper place. “there we go!” I said with a hint of pride in my voice. “What do you think?” I asked Fluttershy with a smile on my face “Oh well, it looks nice” I looked at the shelter and smiled. The shelter was big enough to fit an adult and a small child. “Now all we need Is a fire.” I grabbed a couple of sticks and rocks and started working again. As I worked, Fluttershy spoke up again “Koshka?” Fluttershy gently asked “Yes, Fluttershy” I responded whilst attempting to start a flame with my claws. “Well this has been on my mind lately and I hope you don't mind at me asking but…” There was a moment of hesitation "...What are you?" I stopped what I was doing and looked at her. Fluttershy immediately covered her face in her hooves "YOU DON'T HAVE TO RESPOND IF YOU DON'T WANT TO!!" She frantically yelled. “No it's fine, but you don’t know what I am?” I looked at her with raised eyebrows. Fluttershy removed her hooves slowly from her face and and spoke again. “N-No I don’t, I have never seen a creature like you and I’ve worked with animals my whole life.” she said quietly. “Okay” I was skeptical but I answered her question, “Well I’m a Human” “A houman?” Fluttershy repeated quirky. “Human” I repeated “Hu-Human” She correctly said. “Yes human.” “I’ve never heard of humans before and I’ve worked with all types of animals.” she said “Hmm, well I never knew that pegasis really existed” Fluttershy looked up at me in shock. “Wait you’ve never seen a pegasus?” I shrugged my shoulders. “not where I’m from” I picked up the sticks and rocks again and started working on the fire again, I looked up onto the sky and saw the sky was starting to get grey. “Where are you from?” Fluttershy asked. “I’m from my home village Catalysian” I said. Fluttershy cocked her head locked very confused. “I’ve never heard of a village called Catalysian in Equestria.” I looked over my shoulder and asked. “Again, with that Equestria, what are you talking about?” Fluttershy looked at me and sighed. “*Sigh* Okay let's talk.” **Location: Canterlot armory Perspective: Red Fang** “Okay men stand up!!” I barked out to my squad, they all stood up and gave salutes. I looked over my soldiers one by one to make sure they were all here. “Okay men we have two targets!” All of them looked at me “One of the targets are presumed to be the sixth element and the second target is an unknown creature that killed two scouts in Ponyville” I charged my horn and displayed a picture of the two corpses on the wall” I looked over my squad and saw different reactions on their faces, disgust, anger, fear. Even I got a bit sick when looking at them. “They were last seen entering the everfree forest so when we are entering the Everfree forest you all need to be extremely cautious and only travel in a minimum group of three. Do you understand.” All of my soldiers responded “SIR! YES! SIR!” “Alright, armor up men!” I barked. **Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Koshka** “So this is not earth?” I asked, Fluttershy nodded “... and this is planet is called Equine?” Fluttershy nodded again. “I’m no longer in halcyon fold, but a land called Equestria?” Fluttershy nodded for the third and final time “Oh...” I simply said, It was all I could do other then call her a liar or think i’m insane. I’ve just been pulled from my own world and into a different world were intelligent ponies, pegasi and unicorns exist, what were I suppose to do? “Are you okay?” Fluttershy asked worriedly. I didn’t respond. I felt one drop of water fall from the grey sky and onto my nose, I didn’t react, I just sat there not knowing what to think. “Koshka, Are you alri-” Fluttershy didn’t get to finish before I stood up and started walking away “I’m going for a walk” I quietly said. “Oh, okay” Fluttershy responded. 1 Hour Later I wandered around the forest contemplating the new information I had been given. “Another world? That’s crazy!” I said out loud “But I’ve never seen a real pegasi or weird bug creatures before” I looked up to the clouds and saw they were a dark grey color and a few drops of water fell every second onto my face, I sighed. “I should probably get back the the ca-” My words were cut of as I felt my foot get snagged on something, My body tumbled down face first into the cold and muddy ground, with a loud “Umph” on my part. I landed on my stomach. I quickly shoot to my feet ready to attack, but when I turned around I saw the perpetrator to my fall, a root. I sighed once again and turned around again, I saw something I didn’t see before, a hut, the hut was adorned with tribal masks and a few spears here and there, there were also windows on the hut but there was no light emanating from them. I stepped closer to the hut quietly and gently pushed the door open, The door opened with a small creck. I looked inside and saw a huge pot in the middle of the room, different bottles adorned the walls and even more tribal masks was laying on the ground. “Hello?” No answer. I stepped inside and looked around a bit more, “Is anyone here?” Still no answer. I noticed a wall and the far end of the hut and I stepped inside, I wandered over towards the wall that adorned a good amount of bottles, each bottle were noted with different names such as, Jump potion, cloak potion, healing potion, along with many other things, but the healing potion was what I was interested in. I pulled up my two vials that luckily was still attached to my side, I pulled of the cap of the two vials and carefully poured the liquid into the vials. “There we go” I said smiling. **Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Fluttershy** I’m sitting inside the small shelter that Koshka had built and listening to the sound of the forest, well, trying to. “I hope Koshka comes back soon, it’s starting to get pretty dark now.” I looked up to the sky and saw that it was starting to become darker and darker. By this time I had noticed that there were very few sounds coming from the forest, the occasional sound of the wind or the sounds of crickets where the only thing that kept me from falling asleep from boredom. **Location: Everfree forest Perspective: Koshka** I made my way out of the strange hut and starting making my way back towards our camp, I hadn’t noticed anything else in the hut except for more potions but these didn’t have any labels on them so I left them be. I looked up and saw the sky rapidly losing light so I started running back to the camp. I got back to the camp in a few minutes and saw Fluttershy sleeping in the shelter, the sky was almost black and the cold was starting to set in fast. I swiftly sparked a fire with my claws and put it next to the shelter. I got down onto my hands and knees and started crawling into the small shelter, I stopped in my tracks when I noticed “Light?” I said out loud. There was a light faintly emanating from between the trees. I set my sights on it and started heading towards it. The light got stronger and stronger the closer I got to it and eventually I started hearing a voice. “Listen here ya weird dragon, worm...thingy, I don’t know what ya want from me so can ya just leave” his request was countered by a weird gurgling sound. I swore I could recognized the voice from somewhere but I couldn’t recall it. The voice was gruff and and was muffled by something and definitely belonged to a man. I got closer to the light and realized it was a fireplace with two figures each sitting their separate logs with just the fire separating them. The first figure was just how the man had described it, a worm looking dragon thing, but when I looked at the second figure I lost my breath, I knew I recognized that voice from somewhere and why the voice was so muffled “Saw!?” I practically yelled out of confusion and joy. Saw quickly shot his head up at me upon hearing my voice “Koshka?” He said in a less joyful and more in a confused tone. I stepped out from the bush I was hiding in and confronted him. “What are you doing here?” I asked, Saw Chuckled and responded “I could ask the same thing about you.” I proceeded with my next question “Do you know how we got here?” Saw simply responded with “No idea, I was in the lane taking care of that chick with the bow, and then all the sudden everything went white and I was falling, then ended up here.” He finished. I shifted my eyes towards the Worm-dragon next to him and then back to Saw. “Is that your friend?” I asked, Saw looked up from the flames and unto the creature. “I don’t know, the creature have been following me around and bugging me since I arrived” The creature growled at him. Saw looked at me, except he looked at my feet “Is that your friend?” He asked. “What?” I looked down to my side and saw Fluttershy with her mouth agape. “Fluttershy! What are you doing here? How did you even f-” My sentence was cut of by “OH MY CELESTIA IT’S SO CUUUTE!!” Fluttershy darted over towards the dragon creature and started petting it “...find...us.” I finished “Huh, I didn’t know horses could talk” He said in his regular gruff voice. I stared at him in shock “Wait you’re not freaked out that it’s a pegasus and the fact it can talk” Saw chuckled again “I’ve seen weirder things.” Fluttershy was sitting next to the dragon-worm and seemed to be talking to it. “Fluttershy!” I called to her she looked up at me “Why are you talking to that thing?” Fluttershy got and angry look on her face as soon as I said thing. “It’s not just a Thing, It’s a dragon and his name is Skaarf!” The tension in the air got heavy and we all went silent. Fluttershy sighed and spoke “I’m sorry, I’ve worked with animals my whole life and I have a deep respect for these creatures.” A smile formed it’s way on my face. “I understand.” I responded. Saw looked Fluttershy and Fluttershy immediately froze upon meeting his gaze “H-H-Hello” Fluttershy squeaked out. Saw didn’t look away “greetings ma’am, so can you communicate with dragons?” Fluttershy looked nervous, I made my way over to her side and put a clawed hand gently on her shoulder and she calmed down enough. “W-well yes, Even if I find the big ones scary I still learned how to speak dragon so I could talk to the smaller ones.” Saw looked down into the fire again “Well can you translate what this thing has been trying to say since I got here?” Fluttershy nodded and looked at the dragon again, the dragon growled and hissed for a few seconds and Fluttershy got wide eyed, me and Saw looked at her for a few seconds until I decided to speak up “Well, What did he say?” Fluttershy slowly turned her head towards me and silently said “...” “...” “It’s coming”
