//-------------------------------------------------------// Eternity -by Eternity Pony- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Through the stone. She could hear the sounds of destruction. Where could they be? For once... Was this... True fear? What was going on? For once... would Salazaar  (No not Salazaar Slytherin...) actually be revived? Why would she ever want something like that? He kills anything in his path. If she were to revive him, everyone would die. Including herself. Salazaar does not know himself... That he will die... The sounds were coming closer. It was the end. But she could not lose hope. She had left a stone tablet in the ruins. "When Salazaar comes, there will be destruction. But he can be stopped, and you can return to your world if you do not lose hope. I shall wait here and prepare for the distant future." (Yes, that's Super Mystery Dungeon for you right there.) //-------------------------------------------------------// Power, and Without //-------------------------------------------------------// Power, and Without The wind swayed ominously in the nighttime. The water whispered about the emptiness. The darkness laughed while riding the wind. But a pony leapt onto the grass, breaking the silence. Her mind vibrated. That meant she was nearing what she was looking for. Deep in the grass, another pony was staring at her. The green pony edged closer. Ignus's mind was shaking even harder. "I know you're here." She said. "There's no point in hiding." Vine Lash was not responding. Then, the green pony leapt. Ignus quickly turned around and dodged. "Found you!" "Excellent. You did well to sense my presence."  She said. Ignus readied the Swkrd she had received and pounced on toward Vine Lash. The green pony used her magic to get her bow and arrow. She shot many arrows at Ignus, but they missed. Ignus leapt on her and slashed at her arm, causing a slight cut and a bit a blood came out. Vine Lash let out a quiet howl. She stared at Ignus and smiled. "That's enough. You have passed your test. Get ready, because tomorrow, you'll be fighting Noble Slash." "I'm looking forward to it." Ignus returned home with Vine Lash, making sure she'd get enough sleep for her testing. Ignus trotted over the river. The area was really rocky, but that wasn't going to stop her. "Ah, Ignus." She turned around, hearing the voice of Noble Slash. "You have come for your test. Here." Noble Slash threw a sword over to her. "I'm ready!" Ignus said, determined. Noble Slash readied her twin daggers and pounced forward towards her. "Begin!" Ignus was way ahead of her and had pounced on her wings, but she was thrown off. Ignus caught her balance and clashed with Noble Slash's daggers. As she tried to hit her, the blue pony did many graceful dodges, making Ignus frustrated. Suddenly, Noble Slash grabbed Ignus's wing with her's, and threw her in the river. Ignus struggled to get up, with pain pushing her down. "Too much?" Noble Slash taunted. "No! I'm not done!" Ignus suddenly shouted and she dived into the water. The blue pony stared into the water, looking for Ignus. The red pony shot up and attacked Noble Slash in the chin. Blood poured out on her blue body and she let out a cry of pain. "You have done well. You have passed." Noble Slash smiled at her. "Tomorrow, you should really prepare. You're up against Azure. The most powerful pony in the forest. If you defeat her, you'll be fighting in the war against the Thunderbirds." Ignus nodded and turned around, back to her home, escorted by Noble Slash. It was the final day of her test. Azure was on a cliff. Ignus grabbed the sword that was beside her. It was a sword against sword duel. For once, she'd be fighting with another pony that fights with a sword. "You have arrived. Your test will begin soon." Azure said. She turned around and had a huge sword she was carrying with her wings. "Are you read for your final test?" She asked. "Yes. I am ready." Ignus tilted her sword. "Now. Begin! Come at me!" Azure said. Ignus stepped back on the cliff, and starting running forward. She jumped but Azure dodged her, by not even running. She just walked to the side. Ignus's hooves slipped on the edge of the cliff, but she jumped back. She turned around, and saw the silver pony raise her sword. She clashed her sword with Azure. Slowly, Ignus was slipping. Azure's strength was too much. Finally, she fell of the cliff.
