Fall of the stars
"They are almost here, get her out of here!" the guard yelled, using his weight to block a door. His purple armor had a bloodstained  crescent moon insignia on the flank. His dragon-looking eyes had a hint of worry in them.
The door shattered, sending splinters everywhere, and the guard's body slammed into the marble wall. A group of angry looking ponies, led by a white alicorn.
"Luna, I wish not to do this!" the alicorn roared. I panicked for a moment. This was 1025 years ago, all over again.
The alicorn's eyes turned to a blinding light as she lifted into the air.
A rainbow beam shot from the alicorn, and I managed to evade it. In evading it, I shoved Luna out of a window, then followed suit. I watched as the princess' wings unfurled, and slowed her down.
As she flew downwards to try to catch me (for a reason later explained) I shook my head, signifying for her to escape. She nodded, and I was thrust into darkness.
It was cold, and wet. I saw light coming from above. I then regained my senses, and realized i was underwater.
I swam upwards, seeing my hooves in front of me in the murky water. I broke the surface, and gasped for air.
The sand felt good at the bank of the water. I sat down and pushed my mane out of my eyes. I took off my armor, and sat for a while.
That night wasn't right, The moon didn't rise, the stars didn't come up. Only a few. Scorpius. My designated stars. All of Luna's guards had constelations.
I was inturrupted by the sound of marching. I heard the sound of clanking alongside it. Next thing I knew, I was surrounded by White stallions in gold armor. Their breath was visible due to the tempurature.
"Scorpius, you are hereby under arrest, order of the Canterlot Royal Guard!" said a voice. A purple armored unicorn stepped forward.
"Shining. What a pleasure to see you again." I mutter. I stand up. "By now Lu- I mean, Nightmare Moon, is probably at the temple of the elements. Sapping power from the remaining energy." I said.
"Then who the buck is that." Shining says, pointing his hoof towards a blue shadow speeding towards us.
"Captain to captain, I am glad to say this." I chuckled.
"What?" he asks.
"You are surrounded." says the blue shadow. That moment, about ten Lunar Guards sprang from the water.
"I was going to say something else, dear." I say with a chuckle, and whistle.
"Whatever." Said the blue shadow, dissolving into Nightmare Moon. I'm glad int the years of her return to Equestria she learned to joke, or else I'd be on a comet.
After the Lunar guards tied up shining and his men, a chariot pulled up. I trotted to the chariot and sat down, Nightmare Moon sitting close.
"You know I told you to go. Why is it you seem to have an attachment to me?'' I ask, closing the chariot.
"You know Damn well why." She says, removing the blue helmet, her actual mane flowing out.
The rest of the ride is silent, with the occasional lurch of contents.
When the chariot arrives, I start helping the Lunar Guards fix up the place.
Matter creation is easier with magic. After twenty minutes the entire temple has been turned into a fortress. The Lunar Insignia hung all over, Finished off with a color that makes it blend in.
Nightmare Moon starts setting up the interior to make it less "Ruined" after an hour she asks me to follow her to "Inspect" the place. Her horn glows and creates a flash, turning her back to Luna. I never understood this, she did it when in private.
After walking about the fortress, It gets an ok. All the guards inside aren't in armor, so im figuring its a "Casual Interior".
"Nigh- I mean Luna?" I ask.
"What is your question?" she asks.
"Where are the quarters?" I ask, trying to make it NOT sound like innuendo.
She walks onwards, gesturing for me to follow. She opens a door, and gestures inside.
I look around, and take off my armor. I set it down carefully.
Luna closes the door, and walks around inside.
I rather like the design of the room, the layout, and the color choice.
Instead of doing anything, I collapse on the bed and fall asleep.
I am awakened by the feeling of someone breathing down my neck, and turn around to see a sleeping Princess.
