Chapter One the hint

"Never have I ever kissed a girl!", Pinkie shouted as they played her favorite game, never have I ever. Rainbow, Fluttershy, and Sunset all put a finger down. Fluttershy and Rainbow blushed. Sunset looked at Rainbow uncomfortably. Fluttershy averted her gaze.

"Anyway..", Twilight said, trying and failing to make it less awkward, "Never have I ever, not studied for a test." Everyone else put down their fingers down but her. "Really?", Twilight shrieked.

'Egghead.', Rainbow mouthed to AJ. AJ burst out laughing. Twilight looked at both of them confused. Rarity decided to take over.

"Hmm," she mumbled. "Never have I ever worn a-", Rarity was interrupted by a certain rainbow haired girl.

"NO!", the rainbow haired girl shouted. "This is hopelessly boring," she continued. "Rarity is gonna ask if we've ever worn ponchos! And half of us will put our fingers down! And then Fluttershy will ask us if we've ever met this rare breed of sheep or something! And then we'll all shake our heads and spend half of the night trying to figure out what the hay she's actually talking about! So for Celestia's sake, make your questions, interesting." With the last word spoken, a devious smile flashed across Rainbow's face, making her look dangerously close to busting out some seriously inappropriate and offensive questions.

"Okay, darling.", Rarity said, slightly startled by the smile creeping onto Rainbow's face. "Well, Never have I ever, um messedwithsomeonetogetrevengeonsomeoneelse.", Rarity finished in a hurry.

"I'm sorry, what was that?", Rainbow asked, smirking. When Rarity repeated what she'd said, both Sunset and Rainbow put down a finger, staring at the ground and mumbling about how it must've been the heat, or something. Rainbow's bravado quickly vanished after that question, leaving the group besides her and Sunset, wondering what would make her deflate like that.

"Never have I ever done role play!", Pinkie shouted excitedly. "Just kidding!", she said a second after. Every single girl in the room put their finger down except for Fluttershy and Twilight.

"So if we bust out the drinks," Rainbow said jokingly, "would you two like a virgin pina colada?" AJ had to work to contain her giggles. Rarity scolded Rainbow for her brashness.

"What type of role play?", Rainbow said, nonchalantly.

"What?!", the group of girls shrieked.

"You heard me.", Rainbow said coolly.

"Vampire fruit bat," Fluttershy mumbled. Rainbow burst out laughing. Pinkie came up behind Fluttershy and gave her a love bite on the neck. Fluttershy screamed bloody mercy. Rainbow laughed even harder.

"Cupcakes!", Pinkie said licking her lips. Rainbow shrieked. "What?", Pinkie asked. "Is it cuz of that one time?", she added. Rainbow nodded. "Or is it cuz of the people beyond Equestria who write creepy grim dark fanfics a about us while we sleep?" Rainbow said no to Pinkie's last suggestion. Believing that Pinkie had finally lost it.

"I would like to try Marey Potter role play.", Twilight said, blushing. Rainbow quickly transferred back into obnoxious cackles.

"Princess and the Prince role play.", Rarity said.

"Tomboy role play.", AJ said, not realizing what she had just implied.

"Daring Do.", Rainbow said to top it off. Sunset, however, didn't talk about her role play. She just stared awkwardly into space, hoping Rainbow wouldn't notice. But Twilight did. And so did Pinkie.

"Sunset, are you okay?", she asked cheerfully yet concerningly. "

"Yeah.", Sunset said, just staring off into space. "Just thinking about a mistake I made." Rainbow groaned. Sunset laughed, though.

"That was awesome!", Rainbow suddenly said.

"It was!", Sunset agreed. "It was a totally awesome mistake," she added. Sunset's and Rainbow's friend gasped. They could not mean what they thought they meant, could they?
