Kingdom of Gaia: Ghosts of the Past
It was raining very hard, and the wind was roaring furiously. A powerful super typhoon had come unannounced and everypony in Ponyville had locked down their houses or evacuated to safety.
But unknown to all the townsfolk, a little pegasus filly ran away from the town... running in the cold rain and howling winds... towards the Everfree Forest....
Scootaloo wiped away tears from her eyes as she focused intently on the dark forest ahead of her.
Scootaloo's parents had died in a carriage accident, and she felt a dark void in her heart and she wanted to die. So she picked the Everfree Forest as the perfect place for her to die.
As Scootaloo headed into the forest, she continued to think to herself. After finding out why her parents died in an accident, why the weather being the first deadliest typhoon to grace Equestria? why is she going to kill herself in the Everfree Forest?
All these questions raced around her mind as she ran into the darkness of the Everfree.
Scootaloo had ran deep into the forest, and quickly lost her way back but she didn't care. By now her legs were aching and she gasped for air as she finally stopped and leaned against a tree.
Now the question in Scootaloo's mind is... "What will I do now? how will I end my life?" she asked herself as her tears continued streaming down her cheeks.
Scootaloo had never thought of committing suicide until now. Her tears have already stopped flowing and she felt a bit nervous about what to do now that she's completely lost in this scary forest.
A Timberwolf's howl startled Scootaloo and made her heart leap in fear. Scootaloo suddenly felt regret for what she's done.
"F-forget this, I don't want to die! I changed my mind!" Scootaloo panicked, now feeling her body shaking in fear, she turned to run, only to trip over something.
Groaning and picking her face from the wet mud, Scootaloo looked to see she had tripped over a torch of some kind. When she picked it up and was about to examine it closely, it immediately reacted and a bright flame burst out of the cup! Scootaloo instantly fell on her rump in surprise, relieved that she didn't get her face burned off.
Scootaloo immediately looked around for a way to escape or take shelter in. She spotted a cave and started rushing over towards the opening. The torch shined her way in the dark as she entered the dark cave.
Scootaloo soon found herself inside the cave, her wet clothes began to dry up from the flame of the torch while she sat on a large rock against the cave wall.
"At least, I don't have to go to an orphanage." Scootaloo grumbled to herself.
She leaned against the cave wall and cried out in surprise as she fell through it!
Old Story (from the ancient Earth and Sky Kingdoms)
Many ages ago, there was once a godlike race called by many names.
They are people with strong powers or magick. They soon faded out of existence when they fought against the technology advanced Human race. There was a Great War called Armageddon. It was the beginning and the end for all good and evil.
It was a bright and sunny day.
The waves of the calm ocean raced up and down the sandy shores of the newly birthed land called Sanctuary. Just thousands of years ago before Humans first started to explore around the world, a land hidden from sight by powerful magic had began to rise from the ocean floor. Large mountains and trees stood taller than buildings, the forests grew ripe with many fruits to eat and leafs that could be used for medicine. There are flowers of all kinds that bloomed under the sun, and many animals started to inhabit this newly formed land.
Soon enough, people that have left behind their humanity and ascended to Godhood began to grace this newly formed land with their presence. For a few months these new inhabitants have tamed the land and its creatures, and then making it their home. It all was good, everything was peaceful.
But of course, old human habits die hard.
The people that held destructive and dark powers wanted to conquer the world and rule it as gods, but the people that were gifted with good magic and embraced peace refused to harm innocent civilizations and tried to stop their fellow kin's plans.
And so the inevitable happened... they fought. Men, women, children, and animals once tamed and now turned feral fought viciously for months.
Blood spilled to the ground painting the earth red, both magical energy and deadly spells flew to and fro, and screams filled the air along with the clashing and clanging of weapons and the bellows of savage animals.
After the bloody battle ended with heavy grieving, the people soon divided into two groups. The ones that embraced dark magic and war were forever banished to the forests, while the ones that embraced light magic and peace remained.
The people that embraced peace built a village and created a happy society that consists of Friends and Family. Ever since they first set foot into the lands, the people saw the Earth as their Mother, the Sky their Father, the Sun their Brother, and the Moon their Sister. And along with all the Stars and the Planets in the sky, the people saw them as their distant friends and family in the beautiful night sky. And so, they made a government that is ruled by a loving Mother figure and a protective Father figure to guide them.
The people built a large castle that sat proudly on the highest mountain with four looming towers that stood resolute and always watchful around each corner of the land. A pristine white banner flew proudly from the tallest tower of the castle in all its glory. The large blue lines and the winged crucifix with a crown representing both Unity and Harmony to the people of Sanctuary.
As time passed, after endless fighting and oppression, the people that were banished to the forest finally gave up their ill intentions and accepted the people of Sanctuary's friendship and were forgiven for their misdeeds.
All wars, conflicts, and corruption came to a halt. The human's evil ways began to fade away as time passed and demons began to fade away into the myths. It felt like a miracle, a dream come true. It was as if the second Garden of Eden was born!
And thus, this land once called Sanctuary soon faded away as time passed and is now called... Dream Valley.
At last, peace finally returns to the world once more.
An Old Prophecy (from Three Fallen Kings)
"Three Vengeful Princes will go on a mission of mass genocide,
All Unicorns and Alicorns will be slaughtered no matter where they hide.
One of the three Princes will survive, but two will fall,
The Prince will find two Alicorn sisters and they will be spared.
The Kingdom of the Unicorns and Alicorns will fall,
And the history of this Endless War will forever be scarred and remembered.
A young Pegasus Filly will find the old Castle of Mother Gaia in the Everfree,
She will learn the truth of our ultimate demise,
She will ascend to Godhood and become Queen of the Everfree,
And our fallen Family shall once again rise!"
