You wake to the annoyance of your alarm, screaming in your ear from the bedside table to wake up, you groggily reach over and hit the top of it a few times till the constant "beep!" of the alarm silences. . You yawn loudly and rub the sleep out your eyes.

"ughhhhh. . . Mondays, I hate Mondays. . " You mutter aloud as you get out of bed and stretch, flaring your wings. . You fold them back again and go into the bathroom and take a fresh, relaxing shower. . . You would have drifted off again. . .But alas, the sun has risen and the day has started, you must get ready for the day. . .Because today, you'll be meeting somepony. . .

After a thorough but relaxing wash, you stepped out the shower and dried yourself off with a warm towel, fresh off the radiator. You feel at peace, but deep down, your a little nervous. . Not a nervousness of a first date, or the nervousness that you get as your parents read your report card.

This was a type of nervousness that you get when you go for a job, but have no clue what to say. . . And that's exactly what your going today, at 12:30am. .

"I've been fired from one job, this one aint as big as a weather-pony, but it's still something." you say to yourself, you were fired as a weather-pony a few weeks ago, they gave you this months pay for the bills and food, but those hard-earned bits were being burned fast. . Too fast, you needed a job, you sigh. . you remained calm and looked at the time. .

12:15am. . .

oh great, what a was to make a first impression: Be late. . . You panic and gather your things with haste, you place the saddle-bag on your back and make your way outside . . .

"Time for a New Beginning" you say, smirking as you extend your wings and take to the skies. . .

It is not long before you touch down, in the centre of a peaceful place you've come to know and love, Ponyville. . .You decide to take it slow, don't wanna get sweaty after a shower, right?

As you approach the outskirts of Ponyville you recall the address the mare so kindly told you, you make your way towards the household of the Breeze family. . .

"Twenty three. . .were is- oh! There!" You say aloud as you spot the door with the numbers "23" Upon it, you sigh heavily, getting nervous all over again, you approach the door, raise your hoof. . . .and knock. . .
