Chapter 5

"Oh and who are you meeting with twilight?" Eclipse asked twilight when she, spike and twilight got done eating breakfast and spike taking the dishes up, to which Eclipse gave it some thought and wanted to at least help him.

Twilight looked at Eclipse for a moment and was about to answer her before she quickly realized that the meeting was set soon after lunch. "I'm sorry Eclipse I would like to tell you but I seem to remember that the meeting is set to start soon and I don't want to be late, but I can tell you after the meeting though." Twilight said before trotting off to the map room where she had decided the meeting to be held.

Eclipse watched her go before turning her attention to helping spike with dishes as well chatting with him for a bit. "So Spike, any idea how Twilight is handling all this royalty duties?" She asked know quite well that being royalty is rather hard work and with the prissy stuck up noble can make life a living tartarus for anypony and the main reason why she denied the crown.

Spike looked at Eclipse and thought about the question before he answered. "She is doing ok even though a few of the noble are still upset that she is princess and even more since her daughter is to them still "Nightmare Moon" and saying that she is under a spell and wanted nothing but to try and be the queen again but we both know better, she gave the crown up when she found out that it's not fun being princess or royalty and now she is kinda royal now due to Twilight being a princess and all." He said as he got done with the dishes and got started with a tea kettle and tea cups, most likely getting them ready for twilight and whoever she is meeting with.

Eclipse smiled while looking at where twilight went off too. "Hey Spike, Twilight and Nyx already know and at some point or another your going to find out, but till I am ready, think you can keep a secret?" She asked as nervous tone slipped into her voice as she thought of telling Spike that she is a Alicorn and that she too, turned down the crown, of course Nyx gave it up not denied it.

Spike stopped what he was doing before turning his full body to Eclipse. "I can, and I will even do a Pinkie Promise if I need to Eclipse." He said while going to the motions of the Pinkie Promise. "Cross my heart, hope to fly, Stick a cupcake in my eye, I won't tell anypony your secret unless you say so." Spike said as he continued making tea but also listening in on Eclipse.

Eclipse let out a somewhat shaky breath as she thought 'I am really going to do this' but she knew if she told him now he would be a bit less panicking then finding out some other way like Nyx or Twilight did, it was given twilight was one of the few who has seen the full her but still it was very embarrassing. "O-ok spike but please don't panic but I have been a Alicorn all my life, I'll even remove my necklace if you don't believe me." She said as she let her magic flow though her horn so she can remove her necklace and spread her wings once it was off, but kept the necklace close for a quick reattach incase somepony came inside room they were in.

Spike looked back at Eclipse just as she spread her wings and actually froze but like Eclipsed asked didn't panicked. "O-oh so you mean there was a seven Alicorns?" He asked once he recovered quickly before trying to finish on the tea, and for some reason or another had cloud cake and moon pies ready as well.

Eclipse gave him a confused look as she put her necklace back on as she thought. 'Seven Alicorns? When was there seven Alicorns?' she soon snapped out of that and seen that the tea , cakes and pies were about ready. "Seven Alicorns? I thought there was five now, not counting me that is. Who is the sixed Alicorn?" She asked spike while running though all the Alicorns she knew of. 'Ok there is my two big sister's Tia and Lulu, then my niece Cadance, half-sister Nyx, then Twilight but who is the sixed alicorn?' she thought

Spiked smiled and laughed a bit before looking at Eclipse. "Guessing you never went to the meeting in Canterlot then, You see Twilight is married to Ink spot, the sixed alicorn, surprised everyone when she had him ascended in the wedding just before they kissed. To be honest it was funny when I seen the look on Ink spot when he found out he was a Alicorn now and he is also a prince." Spike laughed some more before getting back to work to getting to finished the snacks for twilight and other ponies at the meeting.

Eclipse gave it some thought and wonder who this Ink spot was but decided she ask some other time before remembering something earlier about spike and a certain crush. "Say spike I think I remember that you have crush on somepony? I told you something about me, how about I know who this pony you have a crush on?" Eclipse said as she pried a little bit.

Spike looked at Eclipse as his scaly cheeks became pink before looking down with a soft smile. "Y-yeah I do, her name is Rarity and she knows of it to. She told me she will give me a chance to date her in three or five years, I'm glad she is willing to give me a chance. Just wish I can now though." He let out a happy/sad sigh before getting back to the snacks and go deliver them to twilight, he was wrapped in a blue and gold aura which made him look back at Eclipse with her horn lit and eyes closed. "E-eclipse? W-what are you doing?!" he said in a sacred voice.

Eclipse opened her eyes and looked at them and he now seen that there somewhat watery. "Spike, please don't be made but I am giving you my blessing." She said before closing her eyes for a moment and reopened them, once she did they were filled with pure magical power as she casted a quick spell that caused spike a little discomfort but not overly so. Eclipse soon got the spell casted and done before blinking her eyes back to normal to see a somewhat taller spike, he is still the same but he was about as tall as Big mac, maybe a few inches smaller but still. "There you go spike, I hope you like it." She said while conjuring up a mirror in front of spike.

Spike looked at his reflection before looking around him to see everything the same but a bit smaller, he even had a confused look on his face as he tried to figure out what Eclipse done to him. He looked at Eclipse and noticed he didn't have to look up so much more now, he soon though ether he grew or she shrank, but he was leaning to grew since everything else is smaller. "Eclipse what did you do to me?" He asked her.

Eclipse smiled before using her magic to levitated the tea kettle, cups, cloud cakes and moon pies over to her all on a single large plate. "It's quite simple Spike. I aged you five years so you can be with Rarity. Also it wasn't that hard when your the Alicorn of Space and time, just tell her its a gift from me and what you said is touching to the heart, all with you being dragon of course and how Rarity is willing to wait, know full well you would out live her so I decided to lessen it. Now I'll go deliver these to Twilight and you go to Rarity and ask her out on a date, and tell Rarity that it was a "growth spurt" and nothing more, I will tell her eventually about the truth." She said before turning and trotting out of the room, but tilting her head back and to the side a bit. "Go get her Tiger." She called over her shoulder as she made her way down the hall to the map room.

Spike watched he Eclipse left before breaking into a wide grin as he took off down a different hallway to the entrance of castle to ask Rarity out for the date, he even yelled out to Eclipse saying "Thank you!!"

Inside the map room

"....Think that with those ideas we could make this holiday better then last year if me an-" Twilight was cut off as the door to the map room opened for a the snacks for everypony but instead of Spike she is seeing she seen a all to familiar blue and gold aura around the snacks as well a midnight coat and golden mane unicorn wearing a necklace and if looked at, earrings on her ears trotted inside.

Eclipse had her eyes closed but she smiled at the thought of how Rarity will react to a older Spike, she was to distracted to notice the other ponies in the room besides Twilight. "Here you go Twilight, I decided to allow Spike to go do his own things while I deliver these to you." She said as she set the tea, and snacks on the table in the room before looking at Twilight and seeing a male Alicorn next to her. "Oh you must be Ink spot that I heard from Spike, It's nice to meet you." She said while giving a court bow.

Twilight looked at Eclipse as her eyes quickly darted to the others in the room, Ink spot stared at the unicorn before responding to her greeting. "Yes I am and It's nice to meet you miss?" He said while waiting on her to give her name.

Eclipse looked at Ink spot while she smiled but see other ponies in the room so she decided to address herself. "Oh sorry but my name is Shadow Eclipse but please...just....call....me....E-Eclipse....Oh dear." Eclipse trailed off as she took notice of the other four ponies in the room as even her tone changing suddenly from joyful to nervous and fearful, she even had a sudden urge to teleport out of their but can't due to her being frozen there, so the only thing she can do is basically pass out from the shock to her system at who else was in the room.

There we are, also yes I know I had Spike aged up but really, if anyone seen the story Nyx's family would you do that so he can be with Rarity?

Also it seems Spike know about Eclipse race but not her gender.

Who was the other four ponies at the meeting and what caused Eclipse to suddenly pass out in shock?
