As I watched Celestia approach, I couldn't help but feel that I was wrong. That peace could be achieved with friendship. And as she and her student approached me, all I could do was stare at them from the remains of my suits helmet.
"You're dieing." Twilight stated.
"Yes, I am indeed dieing Mrs. Twilight. But before I do, may I request two things?" I ask.
"And what would these two things be?" Asked Celestia.
"First, while I know I can never make up for what I did, I would like to apologize for everything I have done. I want to apologize for all the lives I've taken and for all the homes lost. And the second being that of a favor." I said to them.
"You're right, you can never hope to make up for what you have done, but we will hear your request."
"I want you both to promise me that you won't become a monster like me. Promise me this, please!" I begged them, finally letting the emotions that I had pushed to the back of my mind free. "And you Twilight, keep those friends of yours close, because with them you can do amazing things." I finish, now with my own blood mixing with the tears running down my face.
"I think we can agree to that, don't you think Twilight?" Asked Celestia, who recieved a nod from Twilight.
"That is good news then, *sigh* I wish only for the time to make amends."
"You don't have much time left, do you have any last words?" Asked Twilight and when I looked back at them, Insaw that they were crying, for me!
"Why do you cry for me? This is a time of joy. You have defeated the most hated being since Discord." I asked.
They didn't respond, all they did was pick me up and begin to carry me, suit, equipment, and all to the main Royal Guard camp. And as we approached, I could hear the screams and shouts of pure unadulterated joy, at the seeing my dying body.
Before we got even halfway to the camp entrance, there was over half the camp there. Likely waiting to do something to me and I couldn't blame them. But to my shocked yet again, my two carriers did not let them do anything and instead told them to clear a path to the medical tent and that was the last thing I thought I would ever hear as moments later I passed out from blood loss.
