honor bound

"I am bound by honor to serve and protect the everfree and keep the animals safe........I am the last of my people...I....am........a......hunter."

Jack opened his eyes to see his pet timber wolf drooling on him. "crap dangit George!" he mumbled as he sat up. George wimpered, "ahhhh it's ok boy you can't help it." Jack patted the top of Georges head then Jack got on his hooves and walked out of his hut. "huh, the wind is a little off but I guess thats normal considering this is the everfree forest and all." Jack walked over to where he kept his spears,axes,armor and picked up his forged iron pike along with his iron axe and a bow with arrows . "the hunt is good today I can feel it!" he smiled as he put on his camouflage cloak that his mother made for him when he was in his adult age. "George! here boy!" he called to his companion. George got up were he was lying down and ran to Jacks side. "well once more into the breach!" and with that Jack along with his wolf ran into the forest.

DEEP IN THE EVERFREE FOREST

"okay boy see that rabit?" George nodded. "good, im gonna shoot it in it's foot wounding it then you go in for the kill got that?" George nodded again. Jack nocked a arrow and aimed it at the rabbits foot then with a *whoosh* the arrow went flying and hit the rabbit in the chest, blood leaked out of the rabbits chest. "dang it my aim is off today." Jack said with a sigh. "go get him boy." Jack commanded then George went to fetch the dead rabbit when suddenly he stopped and put his nose in the air. "What is it boy?" Jack asked in concern. "When you do that somthing bad is coming." Jack said loading another arrow into his bow. George let out two barks which meant changlings. "changlings? what in equestria are the doing way out here? and how close are they?" George barked once. "so there close? lets wait for them then ambush them." George whimpered. "What?" Jack asked? George barked four times. "A army are you sure?" George barked again. "A whole army this deep in the forest can only mean one thing................there marching a army to canterlot." suddenly Jack heard hoofsteps coming towards him. "quick hide!" he said as he dove into the bushes pearing through a small whole so he could see. he saw the army stop.

"are you sure you know where your going?" he heard one say.

"of corse I know see look."

"it's upside down idiot!"

"no it's not.......oh it is."

"boss why dont we just fly over the forest?"

"because idiot the queen wants us to have the element of surprise".

"now give me the map lets see.......we need to go left."

"men were going this way follow me!"

and so after twenty minutes or so they left.

Jack jumped out of his bush and George did the same. "this is bad realy bad.......George we need to warn the princesses."

George nodded. they ran through the forest dodging thorn bushes and bug eaters untill finally they arrived at there destination.

"ponyville there it is....you ready boy?"

George nodded again.
