Chapters It was a late night at the asylum that I lived in. I was placed in this asylum at the age of fourteen because of my blackouts, times where I wasn't aware of nor able to control my own body. Usually it was a small incident, like I would kill a cat or set something on fire, and the only way I'd know about it would be if someone told me I did it, but last time I set my district's middle school on fire.
It was the middle of the school day, during chemistry. I was reported to have walked up to the cabinet that holds the chemicals and pulled out the one chemical we were not allowed to use because it is highly flammable if exposed to oxygen. The chemical is known as diethyl ether . I then proceeded to soak the papers next to the cabinet with diethyl ether, only then did anyone realize what I was doing and it was too late, the deed was done. The diethyl ether reacted with the oxygen in the air and it was like pouring gas on a fire, and that was when I gained control and completely booked it. I would have escaped scot free if my eyes hadn't done what they usually do during a blackout where the pupils turn into spirals and become literally the size of baseballs, after which it takes an hour to force them to become normal again. After the principal found me there was no doubt that they would take me to court - luckily me and my family had practiced this many times before and so had all my friends. We planned this out so that I could easily claim insanity and that is how I ended up here.
While in the asylum my life wasn't too bad granted the medication I'm taking dulls my senses, and each week I could get some reward for good behavior - last week I was able to earn enough ‘tokens' as they called it to exchange for a new t.v.
Tonight though, seemed different. I felt something watching me and it wasn't the cameras or the guards, it felt like it was trying not to alert me which is hard especially before I take my evening pill. That's when I sensed movement near my bed. I was the only one allowed in this room at this hour unless a guard needed to speak with me. I walked slowly to my bed, and that's when I saw what looked like a discord figure like one from the vinyl collection. (Yes laugh as you may I'm a brony.) Only thing is I had yet to ask the warden if he could buy him with my tokens, so where did this come from? I thought to myself as I picked it up. That's strange, it seems to have a lot more detail than any of the others from the vinyl collection.
“That my dear is because I happen to be real,” said the figure as it morphed into a life-sized version of itself.
“How the fuck is this possible?”
“Well my dear since you asked, every four years on the twenty-second day of the fourth month, the dimensional barriers are weakened so I can easily transport myself here to see my dear old daughter again,” Discord said with a sigh.
“What are you talking about I'm not female, nor am I even close to being related to you.” I shouted.
“Oh but you see my dear you are in fact just that. You may not know it but to avoid you being punished for my crimes 16 years ago in this world, translating to thousands of years in equestria, I had to send you away after that princess of the night wouldn't take care of you; claiming she wasn't your mother when I had made her pregnant and accelerated the pace so it took mere moments for her to give birth to you, but I guess I shouldn't complain, after all fluttershy will be a much better mare than that she-devil could ever be.” The chaos god sighed, “and if you're wondering, the gender change was to prevent your magic from being tracked. It also causes your blackouts as your body rejects its form”.
It took a moment for it to all sink in before I realized that discord was talking as if the events of the return of harmony part two hadn't begun, but he seemed to know just what would happen during it and wasn't going to try to stop it I guess he and fluttershy must have a connection even before his reformation in keep calm and flutter on.
“So I'm your daughter turned male all because you didn't want me to be punished for your crimes, and my mother is Luna who just claims that you're mistaken.” I say thinking mentally that the next time I see the princess of the night whom which I have become so fond of I'm going to punch her in the face. “But does this mean you can finally take me back to Equestria?”
“Yes my dear I think it's finally time. After all, if you're not back by next year your coming of age ceremony to receive your full powers can never be done, and if that happens I'll never have an era to my throne. I may be immortal but eventually I'll want to settle down and have a family. On that day you will take my position of chaos god of that world,” Discord sighed “Of course really it's up to you if you want to stay in this world with no magic, also being but a second rate planet compared to equestria, or come with me to follow your destiny and become a chaos god with near limitless power.”
“Did you even have to ask that question? Of course I'm coming with you father what idiot wouldn't? I mean really.” I responded.
“I guess you're right, plus I probably would have brought you back with me anyways.” Discord said.
Just then part of the wall split open, revealing a swirling vortex and Discord yelled “First one in gets first dibs on spreading chaos to the world!”
For some reason I found myself practically sprinting to the portal as I jumped in and the whole world went black.

“What happened last night.” I groaned as the sunlight hit my eyes. “And where the hell am I sunlight never comes into my room……”
“Wait now I remember but that would mean that the world is in delicious chaos.” I told myself as I looked up “yes ponyville right where all the action is.”
“Wait I feel I have forgotten something, something that is dear to me the one thing I haven't seen since the asylum, oh fuck my family I wasn't thinking straight as usual the asylum changed my medicine yesterday so I don’t have an addiction problem. Disorienting me so I completely forgot to consider my family. Well that's just fucking great I wish, I thought of that earlier maybe I would have considered it more instead of remembering it now.”
“Worry not my child for your real family is here”. Discord said as he appeared next to me.
“Would there be anyway back” I asked
“Maybe in a couple years but would you really want to go back to a world full of people who will lock you back up in a heartbeat, where you aren't allowed to go anywhere or even talk to your family tell me, my dear”.
“I guess you're right although I still wish I had said goodbye, but enough of this let's set this world into chaos and then destroy it.”
“That's the spirit although keep in mind that there is a use for this world after all.” Discord said
“Yeah I know but still let's bring some chaos to a world that is long overdue.”
And with that me and discord went our own way I went to ponyville while he started to head to canterlot.
When I arrived in ponyville I started a chocolate rain from cotton candy clouds.
In reality it was strange no one seemed to notice me nor did they care about my existence, I guess ponyville really is oblivious to just about everything.
After a few minutes I began to feel quite bored then I remember that in the episode the apples at sweet apple acres were supposed to be huge, of course I always thought it was the effect of the rain like the popcorn right from the cob, but it was a long exposure unlike the other effects and the Apple's had a noticeable disappearance and then reappearance giving me a hint that it was not an effect of the rain but of magic itself.
So I ran over to sweet apple acres and instinctively trying to save time line, I turned the corn into popcorn and enlarged the apples after enchanting them so whatever ate them would have their legs lengthen.
After a few minutes Twilight tried to fix it with her magic unfortunately Discord had made my power a near equal to himself so as in the show as I'm sure I do not need to explain Rainbow Dash grouped together the clouds while Applejack lassoed them to the ground, as Pinkie Pie was pretty much being Pinkie Pie.
As they received the letter though something started to tug at the back of my mind and when I tried to follow the main six everything went black.
In Canterlot chamber of the royal sister Luna
“Well that's an odd presence I haven't felt that since Discord begged me to take care of Screwball, but I thought we agreed to leave her in the other dimension until we were both prepared to deal with her, Discord please don't tell me you brought her here.”
“Why don't you tell me yourself darling after all she is our little devil and she's having a blast no thanks to you.”
“Discord you bastard I swear to my sister if I still had control of my elements I would blast you into oblivion, but for now I'm going to make sure our daughter doesn't get into any major trouble”.
Dream realm, screwball’s dream.
“What where am I.” my voice echoed through the empty void. “Really my dream realm it's always so boring here just a black void of nothing”
“Well maybe I could help with this although I estimate that in a few years you will try dream walking by yourself” said Luna as she appeared from within the void.
“ what do you want mother, discord already told me the truth so don't try changing my mind.” I scolded
“Yes but he did not show you the whole truth let me show you what really happened through our memories.”
With that the landscape began to shift to fit Luna’s memories it should the younger version of both Luna and Discord discussing some matter.
“ This is but a few moments before we sent you away for neither of us knew how to take care of a child” the present Luna said “Just watch my child.”
“Discord please I don't know how to take care of a foal I'm begging you find someone else to help take care of her if celestia even knew I have given birth she might imprison us both for treason.” said past Luna
“I can't you don't understand a concentration of chaos magic this high needs to be contained by someone with high magical abilities unless you seal it in a dimension where magic isn't present and I simply cannot take care of a child, chaos and raising a child does not mix.” said past Discord
“ maybe not but you mentioned dropping them off in another dimension neutralizes their magic what if we were to send her to a random dimension until we can both take care of our kin.”
“ Yeah that could work but me must agree on one thing on her 16th birthday in that realm we must bring her back before it's to late.”past Discord answered
“why one her 16th birthday?” Past Luna questioned.
“Simple that's the year her chaos magic can run freely.” past Discord
Then it all began to fade away the only thing left was complete and utter darkness. Then Luna appeared at my side again.
“So you see my child I was not the only one to agree on this whole heartedly.”
As Luna said that the world began to fade as I was waking up though the main six were firing the shot of harmony that encased Discord to stone this caused me to be sent flying into the everfree forest and being knocked out.

“Argh my head what happened.” I shouted as I woke up
Looking around at my surroundings it seemed I was in the middle of some kind of forest.
“Oh shit the fucking everfree forest, well this is fucking great what's next timber wolves attack yeah right.” I laughed.
Suddenly the air began to smell like rotting wood and a low growl could be heard throughout the clearing.
“Me and my big mouth.” I said as I summoned my zanpakuto from seemingly no where's “banki, tensu gantetsu.” after a few minutes I used “getsuga tensho.” and finished the battle granted it wasn't as graceful as ichigo makes it seem but it was effective.
I began wandering around the forest looking for either a way out or zecora's hut eventually when I zoned out I ended up literally running into someone.
“Ouch what did i run into a tree”. I exclaimed.
"I am many things but a tree I am not, and I do hope such a mistake is easy to spot." said the zebra
“Oh Zecora just the zebra I was looking for.”
"What would a filly like you need from a zebra like me? though of course any assistance I will give happily.” Zecora responded
“Well first off a way out of this forest then maybe some help finding shelter after all I can't wander these woods forever and cut the crap I know you don't rhyme every line you say.”
“How could you possibly know that young filly. Your chaos yes it's strong but not enough for me to worry for it's like a Lily.”
“ I didn't actually know until you confirmed it.”
“Well little filly you have figured out my darkest secret follow me to a cottage at the edge of these woods.”
I followed Zecora for awhile until we came across Fluttershy’s cottage it was actually actually quite nice but the garden in the back would put any garden I've ever seen to shame it grew rows of plants that stretched from 100 feet into the forest to the cottage back door.
“Wards protect this home from any creatures with harmful intentions if you're wondering you may go farther on your own for I have done my part and I have work to do.”
With that Zecora turned back towards the forest disappearing into the undergrowth while I turned and walked towards the cottage to see where this future will bring me.
The wards glowed while I passed through them showing a combination of complex spells and alchemic circles. They let me pass surprisingly enough although I'm not planning to be like my father who would spread chaos in his wake.
As I reached the back door I soon realized my mistake knocking on the back door of this earthy cottage would scare Fluttershy while on the front door she would think it was one of her friends or someone while on the back she'd think the wards had failed her. As I moved towards the front door I noted that the house itself had many of the same wards on it although many were scorched or burned as if they were being dismantled. When I finally reached the front door finally I quickly knocked twice and waited. I wasn't waiting long before I heard the doorknob turn and the door creak open slowly.
“Eek” I heard from the other side of the door.
“It's okay Fluttershy I just need a place to stay and my parents are currently out of the question so please let me stay here Zecora brought me here but she left a little while ago.”
“Oh you poor thing you must be starving.” she said as she whisked me inside.
As she brought me inside she closed the door and locked it.
“now let me lay down a few ground rules one no hurting the animals two no cooking unless I supervise you. Last time I let a filly cook I was almost homeless. Three no feeding the animals they are very picky and four be kind or I'll show you a side of my that you won't like.” She explained as she set me down on the couch. “Now I'm going to make you some dinner I'll be right back.”
With that she left me alone and I quickly became bored so I did the one thing I could think of see how well my energy had recovered from earlier today I started simple levitation spells on small objects such as a few books and a lamp the spell stayed strong so I put those back then went to a teleportation spell moving my self a few feet away. Causing a little strain but not to much so I decided to stop there knowing Fluttershy would come back soon.
Sure enough not even five minutes later Fluttershy walks in with two salads.
“Here you go a little one I wasn't sure what you liked so I made yours the way I like mine.” she said while handing me the plate or would it be hoofing I guess that's up to debate.
As I attempt to pick up the fork I realize my mistake I have no clue how ponies pick up their forks.
“ May I inquire about why your eyes are green swirls” interrupted Fluttershy “I just noticed now that you have your head up and i'm not shying away it's alright if you don't want to talk about it”
“No no it's quite alright actually you see I am infused with both the power of the alicorn who is my mother Luna and also the chaos of her one and only lover the self proclaimed god of chaos Discord.”
“ Your kidding right kid we locked away discord a few days ago and Luna would never have sex with a beast such as Discord” Fluttershy rebuttaled.
“ Be that as it may it was over a thousand years ago I was born but I was sent to a dimension where time passes much slower.” I said as I decided to use my magic on the fork.
Fluttershy looked at me with her mouth wide open as I used my magic to eat my salad which tasted a lot better than any salad I've had on earth of course I was quite a salad dodger on earth in fact I've never had a full salad till now I guess karma is a bitch.
After I set down the fork asked Fluttershy “do you believe me now”
“I guess with that evidence please don't hurt me for what I said earlier” she responded almost in tears.
“I'm not going to hurt you I don't want to be thought of by what my parents are although I do need a place to stay and a guardian so I don't end up in foster care or worse adoption also an education would be nice my studies were kind of cut short.”
“Why of course I'll help you can have the spare bedroom right down the hall next to me unfortunately you'll have to go through my room to use the bathroom as the more public one in the hallway is under renovations.” she explained.
Then I realized one fact I forgot to mention “You forgot to ask earlier by the way my name is Screwball.”

A morning of flight after a goodnight sleep
Later that night I was curled up in a ball on my bed when the dreams filed in I could see everyone's dreams as if I was meant to monitor them.
“Welcome to the dreamworld my daughter I see you found your way here alright.” said a voice
“Mother I should have known, but why am I here in your dream realm when I am no dream walker like you.” I spat back
“That's where you are wrong I didn't call you here in fact I would have been happy with us taking a break from each other but as fate has it you are developing my powers the one thing your father could never harness dream walking.”
Then we heard well actually it was more of a feeling someone's scream I recognized it instantly and went towards the source it was Fluttershy's nightmare.
The nightmare was about me her house was burning the animals had stains of crimson blood on them as they were slowly bleeding out Fluttershy herself had quite a few injuries and a demented version of me was standing in the middle of it instinctively I destroyed that version of me and changed the scenery so that it was a picnic with her friends and animals instead.
“Well done little one although you could of left it alone like your father would have you changed it to a calming scene.” Luna said
“She needs to learn not to fear me no one should fear me for what I have inherited only what I have done with this curse."
“That's where your opinion differs from others for some would say your powers are more of a blessing than a curse.”
With that the dream ended as I regained consciousness, slowly blinking I noticed that Fluttershy was making something on the stove from the aroma that filled the cottage it smelled of pancakes.
‘I haven't had pancakes in awhile’ I thought to myself in fact it's been a few years
I rushed down stairs into the dinning room passing by the many animals that reside here including one annoying rabbit named Angel.
“Oh you're up I was about to go wake you” said Fluttershy.
“Yeah I usually will wake myself up if my body has regained the energy expended during the previous day usually I would be up earlier but I expended a lot of chaos magic yesterday trying to fend off timber wolves.” I responded
“You didn't tell me,you were attacked by timber wolves yesterday when did that happen?” she inquired
“When I regained consciousness after being blasted by your friends beam of harmony.”
“Sorry about that next time we'll try not to hit you.” she apologized
“It's okay I get it i'm full of chaos magic that is uncontrollable at times if I was you I would've blasted me as well.”
“Anyway you wouldn't happen to have a copy of your birth certificate would I mean it's alright if you don't but it would be helpful for the adoption process if you want to go to school?” she questioned as she set down a plate for me.
“I can summon one but it'll have to be a fake my real one is locked in the restricted section of the archives and ponies wouldn't like to know I'm the daughter of Discord.” I rebuttal
“That's fine as long as you make it believable not like pony Joe from Manehattan.”
“ Trust me it'll be very believable.”
“ If you're sure about this after I receive that from you we'll need to go the town hall if you want to come with me I mean”
“Sure I should get out and see the town after all I'm going to be residing here for awhile just let me get that birth certificate for you and we'll be on our way”. With that a paper appeared in the air as words flooded onto it I quickly changed my body into that of a Pegasus.
“Finished” I said just as the certificate rolled itself and was neatly sealed so it looked like an authentic document.
We left the small cottage a few minutes later. That's when I decided to give my new wings a try at first they were stiff but after a few minutes I was fluttering them fast enough to get some air. It was a slow process and energy consumption was at a maximum when I was trying to decrease it to a minimum but I was flying in an inconspicuous way.
I decided to dematerialize my beanie so that the air resistance wouldn't be to bad.
“Having fun up there?” questioned Fluttershy.
“Yeah flying is awesome the wind in your feathers feels to good to be true what I don't get is why you don't join me.” I answered.
“I guess I just forget that I can fly sometimes after all most of the animals I take care of are land bound I barely take care of animals that can fly anymore because most animals are land bound and if I do take care of an animal that can fly they usually have a broken wing anyhow.” Fluttershy said as she lifted herself off the ground.
We flew the rest of the way to the town hall I practiced loops flips and dives.
As we reached the town hall I landed in a bush and transformed back into an earth pony. I walked back up to Fluttershy a few seconds later as we walked into the town hall I heard a voice call from behind.
“Hey short stuff you want to race.”

Thanks for all the support if you're wondering rainbow doesn't notice the missing wings she just saw her flying a few minutes ago.
I quickly looked up to see a cyan pegasus with a rainbow mane hovering in the air as I transformed my body into that of a pegasus.
“Mind if I go off for a race with her for awhile?” I inquired as I turned towards Fluttershy, as I rematerailized my wings.
“Go off and have your fun but be back home before noon okay.” answered Fluttershy.
I rushed off meeting Rainbow Dash in the sky.
“Alright kid let me introduce myself I am Rainbow Dash the fastest flyer in all of equestria.” Said the cyan pegasus.
“Well Rainbow Dash I am Screwball adopted daughter of Fluttershy after today.” I said back.
“ Alright let's have a fair race here over to the sweet apple acres the route is simple go straight until you pass the school yard then turn left passing all the houses it's the last thing you see before the everfree forest.”explained Rainbow.
The mention of the everfree made me shiver. “Got it”. I replied.
We prepared to start
“Alright one, two, three go.”
We dashed forwards wings flapping trying to build up speed to gain on each other but neither of us would give we ended up neck and neck as we passed the school yard then rainbow sped up so I poured a little magic into enhancing my wings strength I caught up to her just before the finish and then I passed her skidding to a stop in front of the barn panting from exhaustion.
“Great race kid I guess you won this of course I was only warming up you wouldn't have beaten me if I were at my max speed.” Rainbow said in between pants.
“Well howdy Rainbow Dash comeback for another rematch.” said an orange earth pony
“Not… today… Applejack” responded the exhausted pegeus .
“Your breathing worse than two bulldogs in a foot race getting old now are we.” Taughted Applejack.
“You haven't seen this kid race she's fast not faster then me but she is just a filly she might go above my speed some day and when that day comes my sonic rainboom will no longer be sacred, anyway why don't you call out Applebloom while we slip away alone for a while I have something that needs to be discussed with you.” Rainbow shot back.
I quickly materialized and checked my pocket watch it was nine forty five so I had a couple hours left before Fluttershy needs me. Apparently while I was doing that Applejack decided to call out Applebloom.
“Applebloom how about I introduce you to the newest resident to Ponyville, what's your name kid” Applejack tried introducing me
“My name is Screwball” I responded.
“Well that's a strange name for a filly, but anyway Applebloom this is Screwball, and Screwball this is Applebloom, you kids have fun while me and Rainbow here have a long awaited chat.” Finished Applejack.
“So Screwball how did you earn your cutie mark?” Applebloom asked as her sister walked away with Rainbow Dash.
“You know I'm not quite sure I kinda was mentally checked out at the time.” I responded.
Then a pink pony popped inbetween us as Applebloom was about to ask another question thank Celestia for Pinkie Pie.
“Welcome to ponyville” Pinkie said as she squeezed me in her grip. “would have been here earlier if I hadn't got caught up at work but now that I'm here we can plan your party right away, so what kind of cake do you want also in what shape we have every shape and we are having a special on our generation two pokemon from pokemon go.”
“I'll take a chocolate umbreon cake.” I responded a little baffled at how fast she broke the fourth wall.
“Okey dokey lokey.” she said back as she ran at speeds only measurable by light itself.
I pulled out my watch which was reading ten thirty meaning I still have an hour and a half until I need to leave.
Applebloom looked over at me in shock at Pinkies actions which I just shrugged off unfortunately I needed to confront my past tonight realizing that tonight is nightmare night after seeing the obvious signs such as the signs and homemade decoration it would make sense yesterday would have been the day Twilight didn't have a letter for this week so instead of just waiting for something to happen she forced it to happen and nearly destroyed the whole town, which honestly I don't see the point in the letter system when they can just I don't know teleport anywhere, whatever I'm just glad I missed that episode things would have gotten out of hand if I had to step in.
“How would you like to meet some of my friends Screwball” Said Applebloom as I was in my daze apparently Applebloom had snapped out of her’s.
“Sure I'll go meet Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.” I responded realizing my mistake shortly after the words left my lips.
She stared at me for a while mouth open then she asked “hhhow do you know their names” her voice sounded so fragile almost like she could break at any moment.
“Magic it's a wonderful thing especially in its most unrefined form but I happen to contain an ancient form of it that few have I didn't know I had it until this week when Discord broke out of his stony prison and ripped apart the multiverse to find me and return me to the world that I was born to, my mother never seeking my return will be forced to accept it or else a fight between the daughter of the moon will have to face her offspring that at the same time retains most of this world's chaos magic and if that fight comes the element of kindness will try to protect me unfortunately she will probably lose her life making the only mare in this world I care about fade from me in front of my own eyes.” I explained with tears forming in my eyes.”Now you must Pinkie promise me to never tell a single soul about this conversation”
“Cross my heart and hope to fly stick a cupcake in my eye!” she promised doing the motions along with it.
“Good now I must be getting home see you tonight.” With that I ran not knowing what the future may hold all I knew is the fact that Fluttershy must not be be harmed.

I was out of breath when I reached the cottage, the door was slightly propped open to allow the light and the warmth of the sun pierce through the dim cottage.
“Welcome back Screwball did you enjoy the race.” Fluttershy warmly welcomed.
“Yeah Rainbow might stop by wanting a rematch later, and why didn't you tell me it was nightmare night.” I responded excited I always loved Halloween which is the definition of nightmare night, back before the asylum.
“Oh that's because I usually skip this holiday I'm not a fan of the whole spooky costumes it freaks me out to the point of tears.” Fluttershy responded nearly in tears.
“Calm down Fluttershy it's okay you don't have to come out with me but Pinkie pie is having a welcome party for me later today and everypony is going to be there, and most of the ponies will probably already be in costume so would it really be that bad if you've already seen what they will have on before and went out after with me.” I said Trying to convince her to break out of her shell.
“I'll go to the party but we'll have to see about after the party.”
After that we ate lunch in silence Fluttershy had made what I could only guess was clover sandwiches. After Lunch there was a letter Slipped through the mail slot it was the invitation from Pinkie, she made it clear that the party was at four which is two hours before the festivities start.
I got ready for the party by summoning a full body Umbreon costume after which I summoned a saddle bag to store it in. The saddle bag was embroidered with my cutie mark on top of lilac colored fabric.
I wiped away the remaining tears I must not let this faze me I have to stay strong for tonight I will either find myself truly free from control of others or I will find myself locked up weather it be next to my father or back on earth.
Fluttershy came up to get me around three twenty.
“ Do you have everything for tonight” she asked.
“Yeah” I responded trying to sound cheerful.
Fluttershy and I walked at a slow pace toward what I assume is Sugarcube corner, toward the center of town.
When we reached sugarcube corners I had to admire how it looks to be completely made of gingerbread. A fitting home for equestia’s number one baker.
“Fluttershy and screwball glad you could make it you're right on time the party is about to start.” Pinkie said excitedly.
She hurried us into the shop, where the whole population of ponyville was waiting. Twilight was already wearing her cloak for her starswirled the bearded costume, while Applejack already had her scarecrow costume on. Multiple Colts and fillies also were already in costume including Pipsqueak.
Pinkie went around introducing me to everypony. Most of them I already knew but I went along with it due to the fact that last time I slipped up Apple Bloom almost had a panic attack. When we got to Diamond tiara we glared at each other I could tell she didn't like me because of my eyes and maybe she found that I don't like her either due to the fact that she is a jerk towards others but even without knowing that she has that aroma around her that just tells you she's some kind of snob.
After we got through the line of ponies we ended up eating the cake I ordered, well at least the cake wasn't a lie I guess. It tasted wonderful the perfect fluffy texture and the frosting was amazing.
After that we played a bunch of random party games that I decided not to indulge in, because of course cider pong was off limits to fillies although why they had it at a fillies welcome party was beyond me.
“Hey screwball”. I heard a familiar voice from behind me. Turning I saw the crusaders standing behind me.
“Hey how's it going” I said.
“Good by the way watch out for Diamond Tiara in school on Monday her and her friends don't like us.” Sweetie belle responded.
“Oh trust me her bullying won't affect me much, I'm naturally obvious to almost any comment people make about me.” I interjected but she also should worry about what I could do to her. I thought to myself.
“So screwball what happened to your eyes.” Scootaloo inquired.
“Oh you mean the purple with spirals in the middle well I was born that way no one knows quite why.” I responded even though it might have something to do with my father, but I don't remember dropping my wards that kept my eyes looking as normal as possible I must have overdone it with the magic today. I thought to myself.
“Well that's kinda cool I guess” Scootaloo said.
“Alright everypony who isn't in costume go home and get changed festivities start in half an hour.”Pinkie yelled.
“Well I guess you guys better go I have mine in my bag.” I said as I walked toward Fluttershy.
“So are you staying or going.” I asked.
“I'll be going maybe next year but I think you should come with me if you want to, Luna is coming and you were already banished by her once.” Fluttershy remarked.
“I know she's coming as long as I don't draw attention to myself I'll be fine.” I retorted.
With that we walked away from each other she headed home while I went to put my costume on trying not to expend any more magic. Man I really got to get some regeneration crystals if they exist I can't keep drawing this much magic and still expect it to be only a small dent in my tank, but then again maybe this will help them expand. I thought to myself as I put on my Umbreon costume.
About fifteen to twenty minutes later the sunset as the festivities commenced I felt a surge of power well throughout my body that's when I realized that by my heritage this time of day would be when my powers seemed unlimited due to Luna’s reign powering the creatures of the night.
The town was full of festive games like bobbing for apples, and yet again cider pong I'm not sure if berry punch and Rainbow dash have the right party or if they just hadn't finished their game earlier, but what the fuck this is a night for children not drinking.
Of course I went around receiving the free candy that was passed around and I watched a totally wasted Rainbow Dash pull pranks on everypony.
When I got to Zecora’s nightmare night story I completely zoned out because I was on the lookout for my ever so fearsome mother. When it came to dumping candy in front of the alter I just duplicated my pile and laid it on the alter.
Just then Luna’s coach flew overhead and everyone started to freak out. Wow celestia is an ass isn't she I mean her jealous sister becomes corrupted and all the sudden she is a horror story right out of nowhere. I thought.
As we got into town it became apparent that only me and Twilight remembered princess Luna of course it doesn't help that she was using the royal canterlot voice which I feel was made to scare her subjects. Yet for some reason she brings her to Fluttershy’s cottage even though she is the easiest one to scare in the kingdom.
When Twilight got to Fluttershy's with Luna in tow I could tell that Fluttershy was fearful, but not because she was scared Luna was Nightmare moon no she feared that Luna had found me and was going after her now. How sweet of her to think of me in such a way but her fear is in right place if Luna had caught me she most likely would've went after Fluttershy as she harboured me in her home for a while but I'm just hiding in the bushes trying to keep tabs on Luna just incase.
As Luna walked back towards town I had to chuckle to myself as Luna didn't get that the town ponies were screaming because it was fun not to be truly scared but because it was fun.
When I reached town Luna was playing some kind of pumpkin toss game and she seemed to be truly enjoying it until once again Pinkie’s gang of children and town ponies decided to scream and run making my mother freak out and create the devils spawn bucking spiders, which I really bucking hate. Needless to say the town got told that they were no longer able to celebrate Nightmare night which saddened me because that meant that free candy was no longer available. After that Twilight found away to convince her not to be such a bitch which worked out alright for me.
“Hello mother” I said after the celebration had ended “Did you have a wonderful evening.”
“Why yes I did no thanks to you.” she responded.
“Now why is that I didn't even attempt to mess with you today I was having fun just watching you.” I shot back
“What so it wasn't you who caused this Faust forsaken holiday.”
“No your sister did that it does seem that she loves to mess with you does it not.”
“So it does but why would she do that we must talk to her.”
“So you're going to allow me to stay here then.”
“Why of course you haven't done anything that would make me want to lock you up yet or else I would have tracked you down myself.” she said as she turned toward her carriage.
Well that was anticlimactic and to think I was so ready for a fight. I thought to myself and then another thought hit me shouldn't I technically be an Alicorn due to my blood line.

Sorry it took so long I had to rewatch the episode a few times
After my talk with Luna I went back to the cottage where I turned in for the night. Again I was brought to the dream realm watching Fluttershy’s worst fears be realized as I saw the dream version of me be dragged off by Luna and Luna scolding Fluttershy for allowing me stay with her I sat there for awhile before I decided I'd had enough and banished the nightmare from Fluttershy’s dreamscape.
“Fluttershy you really need to get a hold of yourself.” I said as the dream fell apart around me. “I can't sleep with nightmares infesting themselves into the dreams of the ponies that I care about.”
“I know I just can never stop thinking about the worst case scenario. It's just I can't bear losing you after all you are family to me screwball it may not seem it but I can't help feeling that losing you would make me lose a part of me”. She said as she grabbed me in a hug.
“it's alright just relax I talked to Luna tonight she has no plans on sending me back unless I fuck up”. I say to settle her nerves
“speaking of Luna she should be here by now I'm going to go find her I'll be back later if I don't come back by the end of the night I'll see you in the morning.” and with that I left.
I searched the dream realm for awhile before I stumbled upon a subconscious I'd never seen before so I entered, to my dismay it was the realm of my mother's dreams and it was a wreck, the world was a crumbled version of equestria mixed in with some sci-fi fantasy shit and in the middle of it a flag I never thought I'd see in my life the new Lunar republic flag.
I saw Luna off in the distance crumpled up on the ground injured. I rushed over to her to see if there was anything I could do to help her out.
“Mother how did this happen.” I asked her.
“The Tantabus has attacked me a demon of my own creation to punish me for my crimes against the ponies as nightmare moon.” weakly replied Luna.
“Why must you punish yourself for normal pony emotions going a little to far, you should talk your emotions out with a professional not turn to self harm.” I inquired.
“Because no professional understands my regret and my fear.” Luna retorted as she slowly raised herself up from the broken street.
“I get that but damaging yourself doesn't help solve the problem, what if canterlot was invaded while you are in this weakened state you'd never be able to defend the city and celestia isn't up at this time do you think that a problem like that can be solved by just a few guards no it needs someone powerful enough to save us and you're one of the most powerful ponies in this world.” I defended “ I will take care of the tantabus for you and weaken it to a state that would be easy to contain you're on your own after that I'll restore some energy for you but in the end you make the call, but I highly recommend you get rid of this fiend once and for all.” As I finish I run away to find this tantabus.
When I reach this monstrosity I realize it's actually not bad looking on other circumstances I would have preserved such a creature but it had been allowed to gain too much control too much strength it had to go with that I let out a burst of energy that shrunk it down to the size of a hoof and put a beacon spell on it so that way those who enter this dream realm will always know where the tantabus resides. Then I flew back to Luna.
“Now mother I have a question for you why am I not an alicorn seeing how I am the spawn of you and the most powerful chaos god I know.” I curiously asked remembering my train of thoughts from last night.
“The answer to that my dear is simple I sealed your powers the day you were born I could not control your magical outbursts at the time nor could you contain them now the power you possess will one day surpass mine and discord’s but for now you power is just being slowly released from the bonds it is contained in that's why you aren't alicorn your starting from the base and working your way up. This is also the reason you may run out of energy so quickly you have yet to unlock your full potential because of this once you're body can fully handle this power without lashing out in bursts of uncontrolled magic you will probably revert into your true form but your body can't handle the power yet.” Luna explained.
“So I will slowly gain the magic of Pegasus and unicorn as my control of my power increases but for now I'm at the earth pony stage because their magic is the easiest to contain.” I confirmed.
“Exactly now I believe you have a day to start and an eventful day for you is about begin.” Luna said as she forced me to wake from her dream realm.
I woke with a start pondering what she had said about me working up from an earth pony to an alicorn ‘ I can handle them individually why wouldn't I be able to control them all at once how much power could I possibly possess what if I just broke the binding a little bit’ I shook the thought I couldn't risk it the way she was talking my power might level ponyville if I'm not careful I'll wait for it for the most part plus I might be able to control the regular form of a Pegasus and unicorn but they have much lower supplies of magic than alicorns and chaos gods.
“Screwball breakfast.” Is the only words that broke me out of my train of thoughts.
