Chapters "I'm sooo bored!" Rainbow Dash pulled her eyelids to an almost cartoonist level.
"Rainbow Dash, while I must admit that things have been rather dull, that is no excuse to act so repulsively!" Rarty exclaimed and stamped her hoof emphatically.
"Ah' don't know why nothing exciting is happen' around here anymore, but maybe we could take advantage of it?" Applejack suggested from where she sat under a tree. The Mane 6, after realizing that nothing exciting was happening, once again, had decided to go on a picnic.
"I already am" Fluttershy said,looking around at her friends.
"Really?" Twilight was interested. "How?"
"Well, after the whole Nightmare Moon thing, I was never able to give each and every one of my animals individual love and attention. And now I can. I'm already starting to build a better relationship with Smokey the bear."
Rarities ears perked up. "Maybe Fluttershy is onto something!" She announced, eyes sparkling.
"You want us to go and make friends with a bear?" Pinkie Pie asked, confused. "Wait" she turned to Fluttershy. "Is this Harry The Bear's brother, or something?"
Everypony besides Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash looked confused. "Who's Harry?" Twilight asked.
"He's a vacationing bear! He lives in a cave, but every now and then he goes to the beach to play seashells and collect volleyballs!" Pinkie beamed.
"Um . . no" Rarity said, pushing the thought out of her head. " I mean, haven't you girls ever thought about having a . . . different kind of relationship?"
"Well, I was gonna ask you guys to change from B.P.F.F ,Best Pony Friend Forever, to B.F.F.I.A.O.E, which is Best Friends Forever In All Of Equestria. I was gonna wait until later but if now seems like the time-"
She was cut off by Applejack sticking a hoof in her mouth. "I love the offer darling, and I do accept, and I'm sure everyone else here does" the others nodded, touched. "But have you girls ever thought of having I don't know . . . a special somepony? The perfect stallion in your life?"
"Or mare" Pinkie said around Apple Jacks hoof. Seeing her friends stare at her in surprise, she shrugged. "I don't know what my preference is. We can't just assume things here!"
"I haven't really thought about it" Fluttershy admitted. "And even if I had, there wasn't really much time, stopping disaster after disaster." The others nodded.
"Exactly!" Rarity pointed a hoof at Fluttershy, as if she was evidence. "There's usually so much trouble in Equestria that we couldn't even consider a special somepony, but now, we have an opportunity, and I say we take it."
"I don't see why not" Twilight admitted. In truth, she was actually very excited. To have a relationship similar to the way Cadence and Shining Armour did, a bond that was even deeper than Celestia herself. "Lets at least give it a try!"
Fluttershy looked nervous. How will I even talk to him? She wondered

Hey guys! Pinkie Pie here, and Reading4HalfMyLife, just wants m to say this. All of the mane 6 will have coltfriends, and she isn't being discriminative that there's a reason.
Also, she is Asexual, so she's getting help from her bisexual twin Pinkiepie321, who forced her to put that part in there.
Canterlot Summoning's
Twilight nervously ascended the steps to Celestia and Luna's throne. What did they want? Was there something wrong with Equestra? Did Tirek return? Is Discord acting up again? Oh no! What if they're mad at me, and force me to stay at Canterlot!
"Princess Celestia, Princess Luna" Twilight bowed. "Did I do something wrong? Is something happening in Equestria? Why did you summon me?"
" No, there's nothing dire happening in Equestria, and you have done no wrong" Luna said, smiling slightly.
"So, why was I summoned?" Twilight asked, tilting her" head at her former mentor, and fellow princess'.
"It has come to our attention that you have no security for your castle" Celestia said, getting straight to the point.
"Well yeah. But I don't want ponies thinking that their not allowed to come to me just because I'm royalty!" Twilight protested.
"And that is very generous of you. However" Celestia shifted slightly. "Imagine what would happen if chrysalis trotted into your castle and foalnapped you. Which is why you are being given five guards to look after your castle."
"But . . . But. Fine." Twilight sighed in defeat. "But can I at least meet the head guard? I want to know who I am working with."
Celestia nodded her consent. "Flash Sentry! Thy is needed!" Luna said, in her outdoor voice.
No . . . Twilight thought in disbelief, turning around, and seeing an orange Pegasus staring straight back. "Flash?" She croaked out, startled, even though she knew he was coming.
"Hello again princess" Flash Sentry bowed accordingly.
"Um" Twilight cleared her throat. "Celestia, Luna? May we have a moment?" The two oldest princess' looked confused but left the room anyways.
The second they were gone, Twilight tackled Flash into a hug. "YOUR my new head guard?!" She said, not letting go.
Flash smiled. "Pretty much. That is if I manage to survive you strangling me!"
Blushing, Twilight let go. "Sorry" she muttered. "It's just that . . . I've missed you."
"As have I. But it would look rather stupid on my gravestone, don't ya think?" Flash grinned, and Twilight laughed. Flash forced his mouth into a straight line, and continued. "However, I asked the princess' this and they told me I had to ask you formerly so" Flash fell to the ground and started kissing Twilight's hooves. "Oh Twilight Sparkle, Princess Of Friendship, thief of my heart, will thou bestow onto me thy commitment for dinner?"
Twilight blanched "what?"
"Will you go out with me?" Flash rephrased.
Twilight blushed harder, if that was possible. "YES!" She said, way to loudly. Her face was so red, it was almost rivaling flames.
Flash Sentry smiled. "Okay then. Tomorrow night. I'll pick you up at your castle. Bye!"
"Wait!" Twilight called after him. "Where are we going?"
"It's a surprise!" Flash said, racing out of the room.
Pinkie Pie was bouncing across Ponyville. She knew what Rarity had said, but what could she do? She knew everypony in Ponyville, and none of them met her expectations. None of them were fun loving and liked to party. None of them!
So when she saw a trailer saying 'Super Duper Party Planner, YAY!' written on it, Pinkie almost exploded from excitement. Racing up the steps, she knocked on the door, all the while bouncing in place.
The door creaked open, and Pinkie got a face full of confetti. She opened her eyes and saw two light green orbs looking straight back. "Cheese!" Pinkie yelped, tackling said stallion. "Your here! Which means . . .
SUPER DUPER PARTY PONY REUNION PARTY! " She cheered, throwing confetti into the air.

"So Cheesie, what are you doing here in Ponyville?" Pinkie asked of her fellow party pony . They had managed to pull of one of their biggest parties in exactly forty seconds. A bit slower than usual, but they had to decide and compromise.
Cheese smiled. "Oh, I just got tail twitch, cutie mark wiggle and eye sting, an you know what that means!"
Pinkie gasped. "That something super-duper-tail-twisting,hoof biting was happening in the town where you got your cutie mark, and something huge was gonna happen to one of your fellow party ponies?"
Cheese nodded. "Exactly. Also, Party Favor says hi."
"Nice of him. So, any idea of whats going to happen to me? Like maybe I'll throw the ultimate party, or maybe a giant cupcake will come an attack Ponyville, and we have to work together to eat it! If so, bags I right side!"
"Damn it!" Cheese cursed. "I don't suppose you or your friends made a super big decision recently?" He asked.
Much to his surprise, Pinkie just sat back on her haunches and started cackling madly, rubbing her hooves together, with a mustache on her face. "Oh . . . yes, you'll do."
"Do for what?" Cheese smiled,cocking his head.
"Come with me Cheesie, and all will be reveled!"
Rainbow Dash gulped down water as she wiped perspiration from her forehead. She, along with three other Wonderbolt reserves, had just finishes flying forty laps straight, and she was exhausted. All she wanted to do was go home and unwind with a great Daring Do book.
But as Rainbow Dash trotted outside, she heard a voice call to her. "HEY! Rainbow Dash! Wait up!"
Turning around, she was surprised to see Soarin fly up to match her pace." Oh, hey Soarin, what's up?"
"Me and my brother were going to go out tonight, but he has the feather flu, so, wanna come instead?"
Rainbow Dash made a face. Sounds WAY to much like a date to me, she thought. Despite the fact that she had agreed to Rarity's idea, Rainbow wasn't sure she was into that kind of mushy gushy stuff.
Seeing the indecision on Rainbows face, Soarin added. "We'll be watching professional athletes train for the World Championship."
Rainbow Dash's eyes lit up."Why didn’t you say so! It's a date!" Soarin visibly perked up at this, and Rainbow smiled back."When are we going?"
Soarin looked at Celestia's sun. "We're actually late, so, RACE Ya!" He took off, with a laughing Rainbow Dash on his tail.

Even though she hated to call it that, Rainbow Dash had to admit it; the date was fun. They watched all the teams practice, they decided to use the track to race each other. "If I hadn't been slowed down by that cloud, I Totally would of have won" Rainbow complained as Soarin flew her home.
" Weren’t you taught how to destroy clouds without losing speed at The Academy?" Soarin asked.
Rainbow snorted " What are you, my teacher?" She challenged as she walked up to her door."Anyways, thanks for tonight, I had fun" she scratched the back of her head as she said it.
Soarin smiled. "Thanks,me too." Suddenly Rainbow Dash was aware of how close they were, they were almost muzzle to muzzle. Soarin began to lean in, and Rainbow closed her eyes, her heart racing.
"Soarin! Don’t you remember the rules?!" A voice interrupted. Spitfire stood there, with a very angry expression on her face.
"What rules?" Rainbow demanded, mad that The Wonderbolt had spoiled the moment.
"If a Wonderbolt star is going to date a Wonderbolt's reserve, the reserve must prove him, or herself worthy to be so" Spitfire said it like she was talking to a foal.
"What!?" Rainbow shrilled. "What kind of rule is that?" Her voice raised two octaves from sheer disbelief.
The leader of The Wonderbolts sighed. "I know, it's a dumb rule, but, none the less, t's a rule."
"So . . . how do I prove myself worthy?" Rainbow Dash asked, eager.
Maybe I'll have to do a Sonic Rainboom, or fight a hydra or..... " You shall compete in a one-on-one competition against the last reserve who proved herself worthy in a test of speed, strength and agility" she paused for a bit. "Any questions?"
"Uh, just one. Who am I up against?"
Rainbow Dash wasn't to worried, whoever it was, she could take them. Spitfire lifted an eyebrow "that would be me." She said.
Rainbow's eyes widened. "Really? You have a coltfriend?"
Spitfire frowned. "No, I have a fillyfriend" she corrected.
"Huh" Rainbow Dash processed that. "So if I win, I can date Soarin?"
"Yep" Spitfire said, flying away. She called over her shoulder. "See you in three days, newbie!"
Soarin turned to Rainbow Dash. "Don't worry, you now have three days to prepare" he comforted. "And your still the only mare to do the Sonic Rainboom, remember?"
Rainbow Dash spread her wings determinedly. "Lets do this." She declared,punching the air.
"Uh, Rainbow? I think it's a bit late to train" Soarin pointed out.
Rainbow Dash blushed, and walked inside her house, closing the door after her. After about two seconds, she flung the door open again, grabbed Soarin and pulled him inside to her bedroom.
Fluttershy And The Apple Tree
It wasn't Fluttershy that spotted it. Angel did. While Fluttershy was feeding her ducks, the white rabbit had bounced up and demanded that she follow him.
He led her to the road that led from her house to Ponyville. Or what was the road. In the very centre, was a huge overturned apple tree. "Oh my" Fluttershy inspected it. "How did this get here?" Sweet Apple Acres was all the way across town.
"Need some help there?" A deep voice asked. A red earth pony with an orange mane was there, staring at her.
Fluttershy blushed, turning the exact same shade of red as Big Mac's coat. She was never exactly sure when she fell n love with Big Mac, but if she had to, it would probably be around the whole Flutterguy singing incident. Still, she wasn't a Rarity or a Rainbow Dash and certainly not a Pinkie Pie. She couldn't just TALK to him, the very thought.
Okay Flutters, play it cool. "Yes please" she said in a normal voice. That'a girl, okay, now, small talk. "So, any idea how this tree got here?" No! You made it sound judgmental! You ruined any chance! No,no, you can salvage this. "Sorry" Fluttershy squeaked. That's it! I'm out of here!
"For what?" Big Mac asked, clearly confused.
"Oh,um,, t's just that I made it sound like I was blaming you,so,sorry!" Fluttershy squeked, before flying over the tree to Ponyville.
Once she landed, she heard a voice say." Oh, you've got it bad." Fluttershy turned around to see Rarity staring at her.
"Got what bad?" Fluttershy scuffed the ground gently.
"Your crush on Big Mac,dear" Fluttershy's eyes widened and she opened her mouth to object, but Rarity plowed on. "Such a shame, you don't want to ask him out." She mused,before brightening. "I know! I'll ask him for you!"
"You don't have to do that,really . . ." Rarity was already gone. Fluttershy sank into the ground. "Ooooooooooh."

"Fluttershy,darling,if you do not come with me right now, I will drag you out by the tail, so help me Celestia!" Rarity's voice floated through the door that the Pegasus had barricaded.
Two minutes later
"Told you I would drag you by the tail if you didn't come with me" Rarity said as she rebrushed her friends tail. "Besides, your not gong to be late!" Rarity got up and walked off, leaving Fluttershy alone on the mountain, the designated date area.
After about ten minutes, Big Mac appeared. They both sat down together, and for a moment there was an akward silence. Fluttershy fnally decided to break it. "Um, Bg Mac, I know this sounds out of the blue and all, but, do you like animals?"
Big Mac took out an apple and dropped it on the ground, waiting for something. After a few moments, a worm appeared, and staarted burring into it.
"Oh, I get it. Animals destroy your crops, you kind of have to hate them" Fluttershy said, a pit forming in her stomach.
Big Mac shook his head slightly. "No, that's my sister. Way I see it, these critters are just trying to survive, and when you get down to it, we all are." Fluttershy nodded and smiled at him. Inside though she was squealing 'HE GET'S IT! Finally SOMEPONY WHO GETS IT! "Besides most animals are beautiful." Was it her imagination or was his cheeks a slightly brighter shade of red than usual. "Especially butterfly's" he added, looking at her from the corners of his eyes.
Fluttershy blushed, and they spent the day on the mountain, just talking. Maybe, Fluttershy thought, as Big Mac drew her closer into a hug as they watched the sun go down, the apple tree wasn't necessarily a bad thing.
At The Market
Applejack and her sister, Apple Bloom were at their apple stall, at the town square. "So Raritis sayin' that yah'll should try to find your special somepony?" Apple Bloom asked, frowning, then brightened. "Hey maybe me and the Crusaders could hel-"
"No!" Applejack leaped to her hooves. Big Mac had already told her about what happened between Cheerilee and him. For some reason now that the Cutie Mark Crusaders got their cutie marks in helping others, they thought they were doing the right thing. "No playing matchmaker for me, okay?" She asked sternly.
Apple Bloom scuffed the ground. "I won't. Beside's, it's not like you like somepony, do you?"
Apple Jack frowned. "Why, of course not! The very thought- Oh sweet Celestia!"
For no known reason, Applejack ducked under the stall. Confused, Apple Bloom lucked around and saw, a light orange stallion with a light brown mane and tail, trot up to her. "Hey there. Your Apple Bloom, right?" He asked, tilting his head slightly.
"Yep, that's me" Apple Bloom said proudly. "Hey nice cutie mark."
The stallion turned around to look at the blue horseshoes on his flank. "Thanks" he laughed. "I prefer yours though. My names Caramel. I was wondering if maybe we could combine our two products to make candy apples!"
"Uhh . . . " Apple Bloom glanced at her cowering sister. "Ah'm not really in charge of that sort of stuff. But my sister Applejack" said sisters eyes widened. "She knows how it works." Apple Bloom shoved her sister to her hooves.
Applejack blushed, cleared her throat, then blushed harder. "So what do ya come here for?" She asked, voice croaky.
Caramels ears flattened. "Oh um . . I was thinking that, you see, um, I make caramel, and your family sells apples, so, um maybe we could, you know combine forces?" His voice rose to extremely high levels at the end.
"Um . . YES!" Applejack blurted, mentally kicking herself for sounding so stupid. "That's a great idea!"
"And that means we get to see more of each other!" Caramel beamed, before realizing what he had just said and blushing harder. "I mean uh . . . . "
"Caramel!" Another stallion called from across the square. "I can't carry this cart on my own!" Caramel took off like his life depended on it.
Applejack collapsed on the ground. "If you speak a word of this to any of your Crusader, I'll make what happened to that table you three destroyed when Fluttershy was fillysitting you look like foalsplay!"
Her voice was muffled thanks to the hoof in front of her muzzle, but Apple Bloom got the basic idea, and nodded. "Fine" after a brief pause, sh added"but ah get to tell Rarity!"
