Haunted Mansion (A Halloween Special)

Ponyville,

October 30th,

8:38 A.M, day before Nightmare Night,

The bright sun shone it's rays through the pure clouds of a day as Twilight read a book at Ponyville Park.

Spike set up a picnic as he prepared lunch. Twilight licked her lips as she smelled the food that Spike brought to her.

"That smells delicious Spike, I am famished," Twilight said, taking a bit of a sandwich as she sighed in relief. Spike ate his sandwich and drank his Sapphire Juice that he made himself with the help of Rarity.

Everything was great today in Ponyville, and everypony was excited about Nightmare Night was coming tomorrow night. Everypony except Fluttershy.

She had all her animals in her cottage as she checked everything for her survival book, Angel hopped onto Fluttershy's bed and slept as she wrapped him in a blanket.

"Aww, how cute Angel." Fluttershy purred, checking under her bed if she had everything.

"Okay, everyone," said Fluttershy, calling all her animals as they were alarmed by her soft voice. She coughed as she was about to speak.

"I have everything ready for tomorrow night everyone!" She announced as she made her way under the bed with books and food.

Angel hopped under the bed with her as she giggled in happiness.

The animals knew that their owner was scared to death by Nightmare Night and they shut the windows and locked the door and covered everything for the horrible night known as Nightmare Night.

Rainbow Dash and Applejack were bucking apples on the farm as Applejack wiped her forehead in relief.

"Thanks for helping me, Rainbow," thanked Applejack as Rainbow bucked another apple tree. Applejack went to feed the pigs and clean the barn out as Big Mac took the apple cart to the market.

"No problem AJ! I can help anytime, except when I'm Wonderbolt training or practice new tricks or do-"

"Ah get it Rainbow," interrupted Applejack as she rolled her eyes and fed the chickens while getting their eggs. She took them to Apple Bloom as she took them to the barn.

"Hey, Applejack?" Rainbow called, alerting Applejack to spin around and turn to her.

"What?"

"I say, tomorrow night, we go walk into the Everfree Forest," Rainbow said as she crossed her hooves  when she was in the air as Applejack rolled her eyes.

"I was going there any way to get the newest type of apple, Green Delicious, so I take up your offer on that."

"Oh wait, nevermind, I have to take Tank to Fluttershy's for Nightmare Night tomorrow." Rainbow dashed away as she went in circles, showing off her tricks.

"They don't call her Rainbow Dash for nothing that's for sure."

Cantorlot,

October 30th,

10:31 P.M, night before Nightmare Night

Celestia tossed and turned in her bed as she heard a knock on her bedroom door. She turned her sun lamp on and opened the door with a yawn. She saw Luna, shivering with fear as her sister hugged her and let her in.

"What's wrong Luna?" Celestia asked, dying to know what her sister was going through.

"I-it's. . . Him." Luna shivered as she fainted from her pain and misery as Celestia glared down the hallway and walked down it.

"I know you're there!" She shouted, as her horn glowed a bright sun yellow as it sparked with fury. She walked down the staircase as a shadow flashed across the castle as she looked around with a gasp.

"Hello, Princess." A deep stallion voice muttered as his green eyes with purple irises glowed with smoke in the shadows.

Celestia shot a fireball at the shadow as it appeared on another wall and she shot another one as he kept appearing on other walls. Finally, he appeared in front of her, shooting her down and making her black out as he carried her with his magic to some place far away.

October 31st

6:34, Nightmare Night begins

Twilight walked around Ponyville with Applejack as they picked up their friends. Rainbow was flying above as she swooped down and flashed in front of them as they both jumped in fear as she burst into laughter.

"Ha! I got you guys good!" She laughed as she rolled on the grass of Ponyville.

"Very funny, Rainbow," said Applejack, with annoyance in the tone of her voice.

Twilight shook off the feeling as she looked at Rainbow and AJ as they fought. "Girls! Stop this, we are going to pick up Rarity next."

Applejack and Rainbow rolled their eyes as they followed twilight as she walked to Carousel Boutique. When they all arrived, Twilight rang her doorbell as Rarity opened the door, with a Nightmare Moon costume on neatly.

"Wow Rarity, fancy on the scariest day of the year, and probably one of the scariest ponies," said Applejack as she rolled her green eyes.

"Yes, is that a crime?" Rarity asked Applejack, muzzle-to-muzzle. Applejack backed away and went back over to Rainbow.

Rarity stuck her muzzle in the air and stayed near Twilight.

"Fine Applejack!" Yelled Rarity. "Hmpf!"

Twilight rolled her eyes and went to Sugar Cube Corner, where it was covered in spooky things.

"Welcome to Sugar Cube Corner!" Pinkie gave her best spooky voice as she was dressed as Gummy and Gummy was dressed as her.

"Nice costume Pinkie," said Applejack as she went over to her. Pinkie looked at AJ's costume and nodded.

"Thanks, and you look great as a pumpkin!" Pinkie said back as she hopped over to her friends.

"Who made the candy bags, this time, Pinkie?" Rainbow asked as she glanced at Pinkie.

As if on cue, Ms. Cake brought six candy bags from the kitchen.

"Actually, Mrs. Cake made them this time!" Pinkie shouted as she grabbed her bag, and hopped out.

Rainbow quickly followed after her as the rest of them went along.

Cantorlot, the Royal Castle,

October 31st,

7:29, Nightmare Night continues,

Luna flew as fast as she could to the Crystal Empire to find Cadence and Shining Armor for their help to find Celestia. She flew down to crystal door and rang the doorbell.

A pure white stallion with blue toned mane opened the door and was holding a bowl of candy as he set that down.

"Oh, hey Luna! What brings you here?" The stallion questioned as Luna caught her breath. She took a deep breath and stared into his pure blue eyes.

"Celestia has been. . . Fillynapped."

"What!?" Shining Armor yelled as he got Cadence quickly.

Cadence went up to the tower and told the Crystal Ponies as they all gasped in terror and shock.

"I think I know who did this," said luna, as she walked up to Cadence quickly as Shining listened.

"It was. . ."

Back in Ponyville, Rainbow convinced the 5 to get Fluttershy.

They walked up to her cottage and knocked on her door quietly as she opened her window and saw her friends and silently opened the door as they all smiled at her. Fluttershy knew what that meant and she went back inside.

"Aww!" Rainbow whined as Fluttershy went inside.

Fluttershy soon opened the door again dressed as a bunny.

"That's adorable darling!" Rarity purred as they walked together into Ponyville.

"So, Flutters," said Rainbow as she rubbed her hooves together. Twilight saw her eyes and glared at her evilly.

"Close your eyes," Rainbow said devilishly as she put her hooves over her eyes.

Applejack lead the ponies into the Everfree Forest as it had no sound and it was silent.

Twilight looked around as she saw a shadow and the moon was covered by a dark cloud as they could barely see. Rarity flashed a light from her horn as she saw a shadow.

Twilight let her horn spark with light as she looked around with it. Rainbow uncovered Fluttershy's eyes as she screamed quietly.

"It's fine girls," Pinkie assured as she hopped farther into the woods as she fell into a mud puddle.

"Oh, darling are you alright?"

"I'm fine Rarity! Don't be all scared!" Pinkie yelled as she hopped over to a huge mansion as her smile became a pure blank stare.
