Deep in the Badlands lies a labyrinth of caves, some inhabited by bat ponies, turning them into towns and cities. But many of the cavern systems and crevices remain uncharted even today. As an Equestrian Survey team surveys an abandoned mineshaft, their transmission to the camp topside is lost... After three days, they are presumed dead and a REM Underground Scouts unit is sent in on search and rescue and body recovery. But what they will find will haunt them for the rest of their lives....
