The Conversion War: Global Dispaches

In the year 2010, an unknown landmass suddenly appeared in the South Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by an odd barrier of energy. This was to mark the start of the end of two ages: The End of a divided Earth and the end of the Golden Age of Equestria.

Princess Celestia, Ruling princess of the Equestrian Diarchy, had used Magic and the Elements of Harmony to move the landmass of Equestria to Earth for reasons still unknown to humanity and pony kind today. Some suspect that Celestia, better known to the Humans as the Tyrant Sun, may have wanted to leave her homeworld to start a 'Pony Only World' while leaving the old world to die. others think that the old world was about to be destroyed by some disaster that was going to happen. To this day, her reasons are unknown.

When The Equestians entered our world, they found a world in Chaos. Climate Change, Terrorism, war, crime and The Great Recession had brought new problems to Humanity and now the Equestrians were added to the mix along with a new threat, The Barrier. Humanity was at first friendly to the Ponies, seeing them as proof of Life from another world, even if that was in another Universe. But unknown to the Human Race, Celestia was planning for that take over of the planet. She had seen how far humans had advanced, seen their arts and their literature and their culture..........and hated it.

She sought to bring the end of the Human Race and take Earth for her subjects, Pony Kind it self. To do that, she started to expand the barrier, secretly using her powers to start it spreading across the Earth to destroy all Human things. She then starting to create a magical potion that would turn humans into ponies. With the expansion of the barrier, she soon said that the only way to escape the destruction of civilization was to become Equestrians, to convert to ponies.

So Started the Conversion Bureau and the New Foals.

It also was the start of the Human Liberation Front and the attacks against the Conversion Bureaus. Suicide attacks, bombings, mass shootings and all out war was the norm in 2011. But they would soon start growing as a new force entered the scene: The Ponyfaction for Earth's Rebirth Group (PER) started to launch their own attacks, using potion bombs to turn humans into ponies.

This also caused many Equestrians to turn against Celestia, starting with Lyra Heartstrings, who founded the Equestrian Liberation Party that sought to end the Conversion and also exposed the truth. This in itself was not what Celestia had planned. Now she saw that she had to use utter brute force to not only crush the human race, but to to Destroy the ELP once and for all.

Celestia declared war on December 21st, 2012.

That was the start of the Conversion War, as Nations, religions, political groups, even Terrorist armies like HAMAS and Al-Qaeda joined together to fight against a new enemy, one that had declared that Humanity was to Convert or DIE!

Humanity chose to fight.

This also lead to Lyra and her group to join with the Humans and fight against their own kind. even one of the 'Elements of Harmony' and Discord himself joined. With their help and the technological superiority of Humanity, the United Nations found a way to destroy the Barrier and soon started taking back the areas of the Earth under Pony rule.

Yet Celestia refused to give up and declared a War of Extermination against the Humans and their Pony allies. Using Shining Armor's death to make Princess Candace use the Crystal Cannon to destroy Rome and Mecca, she soon brought the wrath of The world on The Crystal Empire and the fires of Nuclear power onto Equestria.

Luna would die when Celestia sent her to destroy the City of Jerusalem, meeting her death at the hands of a United Nations Sniper. This soon turned the tide as the Equestrian Military started to retreat back to Equestria.

Humanity soon launched the Grand Offensive, Invading Equestrian Soil and Bombing Equestrian Cities. Many towns and cities were blasted to ruins, including Ponyville, Home Kingdom of Twilight Sparkle.

Soon the United Nations Forces were at the door step of Celestia's Palace, Canterlot. Celestia refused all ideas of Surrender and declared No Peace. She would later fall into a coma when trying to destroy the Human Armies, only for her powers to be blocked by the Anti-Magic Thalmann Generators. This left Twilight Sparkle to be the one to surrender to The Joint United Nations-Equestrian Liberation Front Armies. This was the end for the Diarchy and Equestria as it was.

This story will document the war, showing film clips, documents, News reports and stories from those that fought in what was soon called "The War to end all Wars" a war that left three Billion Humans dead or converted into ponies, millions of ponies dead and was the start of the War against the so called "Equestrian Freedom Fighter Army" (which ended with the final battle of Fort Freedom in 2036).

This is show to all future generations the brutality and carnage of the War, showing both sides of the story so that no one, Human or Pony, will forget and to also unite both with one slogan that has become the motto for the peace movement.
