"So why do we have to go around and not just climb the fence?", Rainbow asked impatiently as they picked through the weeded ground around the court. "Because it's unethical.", Twilight said, rolling her eyes. "In-ethi-what now?", Rainbow asked, very confused. "Nothing, nevermind," Twilight said visibly pouting. "But no matter!", she said brightening up, "this is going to work!" "How?", Rainbow asked. "I have no idea!", Twilight said. "Okay then I'm doomed.", Rainbow said, trying to see just how much she could poke Twilight until she turned into an angry bear. Literally or figuratively. Whichever. "No Rainbow you are not doomed!", Twilight said. "I think I am." "Okay now you're just lying to get me upset!" 'Okay now she's onto me, crap!', Rainbow thought as she blurted out a quick, "What, no, I would never ever do something like that!" "Oh yes you would! You would totally lie!" "Well excuse me if my element isn't flipping honesty!", Rainbow complained, narrowly missing a thorny dandelion bush. "You're right, your element is LYING!", Twilight said losing it and screaming at Rainbow Rainbow immediately started walking back away from the court, feigning being upset. Twilight would fall for this easily! "Wait Rainbow! I'm sorry!", Twilight yelled as she ran back toward Rainbow, panting as she had just ran a few steps, as she didn't train like Rainbow did. But she still ran. "Please Rainbow, I didn't mean to say you didn't deserve your element! That might've offended you a little bit!" Rainbow nodded her head, facing away from Twilight, milking this for as long as she could. "And I'm again really sorry!", Twilight practically whined. Rainbow shaked her body to act like crying is causing it. Twilight screamed, "I AM SO SORRY!", and put a hand on Rainbow's shoulder. Then she peeked around just enough to see the smirk on Rainbow's face. "RAINBOW DASH!", Twilight screamed, shattering a couple thousand windows in Japan. Or whatever Japan was called in the Equestria Girls universe... Rainbow Dash took off at a brisk pace. With Twilight screaming after her, they wasted like 10 minutes that should've been used training. Eventually, Twilight chased Rainbow onto the court, and cornered her. And then backed her up against the wall. "You let me teach you or no cuddles tonight!", Twilight screeched. Rainbow was a rebellious troublemaker, but she also had a soft spot, not that she would ever tell anyone, ever! Nonetheless, she had to reveal it, just this once! "Fine!", she said. Twilight winked and said, "if you cooperate, you can have more than cuddles!" "Yeah, that's nice," Rainbow said, choosing to let her dominant side take over her soft spot a second later, "but I'm still going to work the court..." 5 minutes later......... "I told ya I was gong to work the court!", Rainbow Dash said loudly, letting her fake pride show. "Rainbow you suck at this!", Twilight said in return. "How in Equestria is this working the court?!" "Like this!", Rainbow said, and hit the tennis ball outside the fence for the hundredth time. Twilight groaned. "You're sure I can't just climb the fence to get it?...", Rainbow asked, trailing off. "Yep, sure!", Twilight said. "Really?!", Rainbow Dash said excitedly. "NO!", Twilight said. Rainbow actually cowered before Twilight, scared of the egghead's more benevolent side. Twilight grumbled, and went to grab the tennis ball for the hundredth time. She returned, and was triumphant in finding the ball but was not happy. "I wish you wouldn't make me go get them all!", Twilight said as she carried the ball back around the court inside back to Rainbow Dash. "Hey I never made you do anything! But thanks for volunteering!", Rainbow shouted. "You're very welcome!", Twilight yelled. Rainbow bowed, and Twilight served the ball. Right into Rainbow's stomach. A couple of moments later, Rainbow Dash was holding her stomach, and Twilight was bragging about how she worked the court. "Twilight you suck at this," Rainbow jokingly said as she held her stomach in pain. Twilight sure as Tartarus served some flaming hot balls. "Can we cancel the game?", Rainbow asked, "you promised that if I cooperated I could have cuddles, and I'm pretty sure I was cooperating like a pro until you socked me in the stomach with the demon ball." "Fine, well cancel," Twilight said, giving in. "But you have to cooperate off the court." "No problem," Rainbow said. And so Rainbow and Twilight headed home, completely forgetting to tell Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy they had canceled. An hour later...... "We are they?", Pinkie wondered out loud. "I don't know.", Fluttershy said. "I think they're-". "Shhhh!", Pinkie said cutting off Fluttershy. Pinkie heard voices. Fluttershy thought the were fake or imagined, but this time they were real. This time! A little secret was that Rainbow and Twilight had never gone home. They had gotten, how do I say this appropriately, distracted by a seemingly nice secluded side of the building. And Rainbow had suggested they take a break before heading home. The voices Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie heard came from a very nice secluded side of the building. Possibly the same side of the building Twilight and Rainbow Dash were by. Was it them?... Pinkie had a hunch it was. After all it was just like Rainbow to go somewhere nobody would ever think to look! And when they heard Rainbow's raspy voice, the mystery was solved. Them they heard Twilight's voice too. And they also heard loud sucking noises. That just confirmed their theory. Twilight and Rainbow were making out the making out instead of playing their game with them. Pinkie decided she should teach teach them a lesson that would really take them to school! So she snuck up behind them, and gave a loud, hearty "BOO!" Rainbow flipped her over, instantly going into a fighting stance. Twilight and Pinkie looked at Rainbow in amazement. "What?", Rainbow just asked. "What did you just? How?", Twilight managed to stutter out. "Common sense Twilight. People making out in dark secluded parts of the building are always the first people to kick the bucket in horror movies.", Rainbow said, matter of factly. "So I'm always prepared." "Every time?!", Twilight asked. "Yes!", Rainbow said and they both went back to making out. Pinkie and Fluttershy just walked away. "C'mon Pinkie let's teach you how to play tennis," Fluttershy said calmly. "Yeah, can I just climb over the fence..." Pinkie asked.
