While battling against Starlight Glimmer to save the only future of Equestria that seemed right to Twilight, she was given the chance to witness what the future could have been like if she and her friends hadn't triumphed over all the foes they had encountered.

But among all of the versions of the future that she saw, there was one that just didn't quite make sense... Something that neither of the villains she knew would have wanted.
