"Strike!" yelled out the voice of Static Sound, one of Spring Blossom's best friends and future roommate. She was a musician by trade, and often worked with Vinyl Scratch, but that didn't stop her from enjoying the more classic parts of life, such as throwing a ball at bowling pins. Her bright blue mane was bouncing against her pale grey coat as she happily trotted over to the group. She was visiting with Spring Blossom, along with a Pegasus friend named Rain Cloud. Every pony - well every stallion at least- was excited the trio were here, as they were all quite attractive. Several tried to approach Spring Blossom, but she wasn't interested at all. Rain Cloud was too engrossed with winning to even notice them. Static Sound was a whole other story, however.

She would exchange glances with several stallions on the opposing team just as they were about to release their bowling ball, throwing their whole shot off. Silver Wing, though he did not approve of her techniques, was sure they would not of won if it hadn't been for the unicorn. Next up was Applejack, then Spring Blossom and finally Silver Wing. Silver Wing's brother, Silver Shot, had just had his turn and as with all as his others, got a perfect strike. He walked back and sat beside Static, stretching his wing around her. The two had been dating for quite some time, ever since she visited Ponyville to work with Vinyl Scratch a few months ago.

Silver Wing wished for a love like theirs, though he had convinced himself he would never have it. Static however, had other plans. She knew how the Pegasus felt about Spring, it was obvious. She knew how Spring felt about him too, and was mentally rolling her eyes at the pair, wondering how they still weren't together. She hadn't wasted a second when she met Shot. She walked up to him, handed him a piece of paper with her magic, and walked away. Stopping only to look over her shoulder and say, "Give me a call sometime". That was her way, though. She knew Spring would never do that, nor would Silver. So she had a more mischievous plan to get the pair together. One that would be set in motion very soon.

"Hey Spring, would you mind picking up my ball when it comes up the carrier?" asked Static, innocently enough. Her friend didn't reply, simply rolling her eyes and walking to the carrier which would bring the ball up quite soon. This would put her directly next to Silver. "Perfect", thought the mischievous unicorn. Just as Silver was about to throw his ball, Static used her magic and made Spring slip on the wood floor of the bowling alley. She fell right into Silver's front legs, which he had reached out to catch her with. His bowling ball went straight into the gutter but it didn't matter.

"Um, you should be careful where you stand, the floor in here is, um, really slippery", said Silver, stuttering a bit whilst helping Spring get to her hooves. They were both blushing, though it was hard to spot on Spring, as her bright pink fur shielded her face. Static could see right through it though, she had known Spring a long time,
