Privat Mitchell, Captain Hiller received a visit from princess Celestia to find out what happened to their royal guards wich didn´t come back home from their mission. The mission was to find out where are all the missing fillies are. Also the royal guards never found their way back home too. Her last hope, two brave human soldiers which landed over a year ago here in Equestria and helped them to secure their Country against the changeling invasion.
