On the surface, Adam Thomas Starshine may seem like your normal, everyday teenage boy. But, like all of us, he had a dream...
Adam, in his life, was very popular in his schools, especially with the girls. But, he wanted something more. Sure, he had lots of things to do, and lots of friends, but he wanted something else: adventure and excitement.
He was a fan of video games, especially the popular mobile game, Geometry Dash. After hearing about a championship being held for all players of the game, he, without second thought, decides to participate. In the end he wins, and receives a legendary item known as a Geometry Backpack, which allows him to travel in all forms on the game, the rocket ship, the gravity ball, etc. He can also increase speed, clone himself, etc. Along with that, he also received 250,000 dollars.
But Adam's adventure didn't end there. After a month, a science fair was being held not too far from where Adam lived, so he decides to attend the fair. However, while he was exploring, he saw an experiment which included a blue-colored gas becoming nearly exposed. Adam didn't want anybody to get hurt, so he exposed himself, which put him in a coma for three days.
After coming out of the coma alive, two days later, Adam finds himself doing what he's never thought of actually doing. After leaving his backpack home, bullies came after Adam, however, inside of him, energy was building up. And as it was released, Adam blasted off at nearly the speed of sound. A blue trail was being left behind him, and music seemed to be emanating from him, and the trail was beating to the music. He was also glowing, and his glow changed depending on the song genre. From that moment on, he knew what was happening: his wish of receiving super powers came true.
On the first day, Adam decided to stop a crime from happening. A shop was being invaded by burglars, and Adam stops all five of them, seemingly having super strength along with a super jump. And later, ending up in the newspaper, Adam devoted himself to stopping all crime from happening in his hometown of Manhattan, New York. Adam was declared a hero by all citizens, along with the New York military.
Two years have passed since then, and all of Manhattan loves Adam. Unfortunately, he had to move to a new city to start a life at a new school, known as Canterlot High School, located in Canterlot, Pennsylvania. What will happen next? There's only one way to find out.......…

I slowly rose up from my bed after hitting my alarm on my phone. I looked at the time. 6:30 AM.. perfect. I need to be at school in an hour. I woke up on time.
In case you don’t know who I am, hi, my name’s Adam. Adam Thomas Starshine. I’m 16 years old, I’m 1.89 meters tall, I weigh 55 kilograms, I have long black hair with a shade of white in it which goes over my left eye. I also have hazel eyes.
I’ve recently moved from my old hometown in Manhattan, New York to Canterlot, Pennsylvania to start a new school year here. I’ve heard of Canterlot High School, and I thought it was perfect.
Anyways, I got up from my bed, and went to the bathroom to wash up, as I didn’t want to look too tired on my first day. I sprayed a bit of deodorant on me, and put on my favorite blue jeans, and my favorite green Minecraft creeper T-shirt.
I took my phone and went downstairs, and I saw my mom cooking some breakfast, while my dad was reading a newspaper, while drinking some coffee. I also saw my two siblings eating breakfast.
My mother, Silvestra, was 37 years old, had long black hair, and she was 1.85 meters tall, and she weighed 59 kilograms and she had hazel eyes with a mix of green.
My father, Michael, was 39 and a half years old, had brown hair with a shade of white that went over his left eye, like mine, and was 1.9 meters tall, and weighed 60.5 kilograms and his eyes were sapphire blue.
My little brother, Gabriel, was 14 years old, two years younger than me. He had blonde short hair, and he was 1.80 meters tall, and he weighed 47 kilograms and he had sapphire blue eyes, like my father.
And my little sister, Iris, was 10 years old, six years younger than me. She had long black hair, like my mother, and she was 1.68 meters tall, and she weighed 40 kilograms, and she had emerald green eyes.
“Morning guys!” I said, getting their attention.
“Good morning Adam.” said mom.
“Morning bro!” said Gabe, giving me a high-five.
“Good morning Adam.” said Iris, giving me a hug, causing me to ruffle her hair, causing her to giggle.
Good morning son. Looks like you woke up early.” said dad.
“Sure did! Don’t want to be late on my first day.” I said cheerfully.
“Glad to hear that. I made your favorite breakfast!” mom cheered.
Favorite breakfast? Does she mean…. OH HELL YES!!!
“You mean pancakes right?!” I said excitedly. She nodded, while Gabe and Iris rolled their eyes over my excitement.
I got a plate out and poured myself some water, and waited for the pancakes.
“While you’re at it, go upstairs and get your stuff ready, son.” said dad.
“Okay, be right back.” I said, going upstairs.
...
I got up and took my Geometry Backpack and put my stuff into it. I always take this backpack everywhere, I absolutely love it.
Anyways, I got my Bluetooth headset and put it on my neck. I never take too much with me but I don’t need that much, I’ll only be away for a few hours.
I also got my shades and went downstairs.
I went downstairs to see the beloved pancakes sitting on my plate, waiting to be eaten. I went over to the fridge and got some Nutella, whipped cream and maple syrup, and put it all on all three pancakes.
After a few minutes, we all had our breakfast.
“Like always, I absolutely loved breakfast. Thanks mom!” I said, happily.
“I’m glad you enjoyed them.” said mom, smiling. “It’s also seven o’ clock dear, you should get going.”
I looked at my watch and realized she was right. It was already 7:10 AM, and school starts at 7:30. Hopefully I’ll get there in time.
“Okay, what about Gabe and Iris?” I asked.
“School starts at eight for both of us, Adam.” said Iris, in a matter-of-fact tone.
“Oh, okay.” I said.
“Do you need me to drive you?” asked dad.
“No thanks dad, I got this bad boy!” I said, pointing at my backpack.
“Okay, but be sure to hurry to school, you don’t have much time.”
“Right. Thanks for the breakfast mom! Bye guys!” I said, walking towards the door.
“Have a wonderful day at school, sweetie!” she said.
“Bye Adam!” said Gabe and Iris.
“Behave yourself and don’t get in trouble, son!” I then heard dad say. He always says this to me, as he is a bit protective of me. I simply rolled my eyes.
As I walked out, I got out my headset, paired it with my phone, and turned on one of my favorite morning songs.
[Music: Waterflame – Glorious morning]
Ah, the sweet sound of this morning song is so serene. I walked down the sidewalk while looking everywhere, and at the sunrise. It was beautiful.
The song started pumping up, so I started walking faster. I also started moving my head to it as well.
The song was now in drop mode, as I like to call it, when the beat drops. It made me move twice as fast.
The song went on, but sadly, it doesn’t last very long. It ended 2 minutes later. So I turned on another song I loved.
[Music: Soulero – Seconds Away]
Man do I love this song! The beat of the song got my adrenaline up, so I started moving three times as fast as before. The song calmed down to get ready for the drop, but that didn’t stop me. It was incoming, and as I knew, if I kept in this pace, I would get to the school in an hour. So I pressed the purple button on my backpack, and it turned into a rocket ship. The drop began and I blast off.
Over the week living here in Canterlot, I never got to realize what a beautiful city it really is. I saw some people looking up at me with awe, but I was used to it.
Since I had time, I also flew a bit further to look around. And wow, Canterlot was beautiful.
I found a hill and decided to stop there and see the view, and I was awestruck. The sunrise made the city shine. It was gorgeous.
I snapped a pic just before I flew off. I saw people looking up again, but this time there weren’t as many.
I landed in front of a building I recognized way too well. Canterlot High School.
I headed inside, unaware of what will await me.
