Episode 1: Death be Broken

Previous Chapter

The six sit in Pinkies room, absolutely silent as they think on what had transpired earlier in the day.

"Anybody want a snack?" Pinkie asks in an attempt to break the silence. They shake their heads no. Sunset pulls out her phone and begins typing on it.

"Applejack, do you know the kids full name?" Sunset asks.

"Gabe Dill. Why?" Sunset types the name into her search bar and waits for results to show.

"Applejack, what happened to that kid from today?" Rainbow asks.

"The kid got sent home. What I heard from his friends is that he's fine now." Applejack answers. Rainbow sighs with relief. "I'm just curious why, though. That kid has never done that before. At school, anyways."

"Sunset, whatcha find?" Rainbow asks.

"Applejack, come here please." Applejack comes over to Sunset.

"What is it, sugar?" Applejack asks.

"Look at this picture of him in his Junior year. Now, look at the person next to him." Applejack looks to the left of the boy.

"Is that Vice Principal Luna?! How?! If he's in the same grade as us as a Senior, then how could he be a Junior student with Luna?!"  Applejack yells.

"That's not all I found." Sunset swiped to the next picture. A picture of some sort of certificate. "This is his death certificate." Sunset tells them.

"I don't believe it. That kid, just, no! That can't be true! People don't just come back to life!" Applejack exclaims.

"Honestly, Applejack, It's not that weird considering what we've gone through before." Rarity rasionalizes.

"You know what, fine. Say he did come back from the dead. Why would he torture a random kid that he probably has never met. It dosen't seem logical!" Applejack argues.

"We can ask Vice Principal Luna tommorow. I'm sure we can get it handeled and over with that way." Sunset tells them. They all decide that to be the best course of action and all begin to head out.

"At least we have a plan of some sort." Rainbow says, happy to be returning home. "Night Sunset." Rainbow tells her before taking a turn to the right and dissapearing from view. Sunset continues straight, listening to the sounds of the nights creatures.

...

The sound of school bells rush through the halls of Equestria high, signaling students to go to their first periods. The 7 girls sit in the main office, waiting for the Vice Principal to arrive. Luna exits her office and sits in the seat before them.

"What is it that you girls need to ask of me." She asks.

"Luna, did you ever know a kid named Gabe Dill?" Sunset asks. Luna seems to freeze, though she still keeps her straight face.

"Yes, I do know of the new student that resides here." Luna says. "Very quiet, though-" Luna whispers the last of what she intended to say, not allowing us to hear it. Unsatisfied, Rainbow hands Luna the old high school picture. Luna begins biting on her lip. "I'm not aware of what you're trying to show me." Luna tells them.

"This is one of your old high school class pictures. The kid on your right. Do you know that kid?" Sunset asks. Luna seems to shake before sighing.

"Yes. Yes, I do know that child. You should also know that he died if you did this much research." Luna answers. The 7 others nod in unison. "Listen, girls. We need to keep this secret. If anybody finds out about that kid, we're done for. I need you to get that kid to see me. We can go from there, okay?" Luna plans. The others decide to agree before leaving the office.

"How are we gonna do this?" Rainbow asks. "I mean, if he somehow finds out we're onto him, then maybe what happened to that kid could happen to us." The seven then remain quiet. They know what they have to do. They just have to hope it'll go well.
