Necromancers and dark mages are rising all throughout Equestria. Some ponies aim to find out why and destroy the root of the new evil. For now, though, the important ones are those standing against the new darkness - The Order of the Silver Sun.

A murdered guard, raised from the dead and forced to serve her new master. Only one of many cases of dark magic abuse rapidly appearing all over Equestria.

What is that? Nopony knows.

A depressed griffon, reeling from the death of his lover. The griffon's unicorn assistant, not so secretly pining after her boss. Three new recruits about to become the special unit meant to protect the innocents. All those will clash in the struggle for power, immortality, and fulfilling their own desires.
