When the girls hear that Camp Everfree is about to close, Rainbow Dash talks to her father, who happens to be friends with an employee of Kaiba Corp. He suggests a charity tournament to Mr. Kaiba, and he grants it. Since Sunset won at the Friendship Games Tournament, she is the current title holder. So now, 16 duelists from around the globe will battle each to see who gets to duel Sunset for the championship crown. But one of the duelists seems to have his eye on Kaiba's company.
