School!              Rainbow and streak had just arrived at the school house and Rainbow was pretty happy that she won the race. "Yes!" "I won Dad!" Dash cheers.      "Well  only because I gave you a head start!" He said in denial. "Yeah! Yeah! Sure." But I was still the victor!" Said Rainbow proudly.       "Well sport I gotta go!" "Duty calls!" Said streak. Rainbow couldn't help but laugh at that remark.      "Duty." She giggles. Streak just rolled his eyes and chuckles at his daughter's immaturity.            "Well Rainbow make sure you learn something and,most importantly Have.... Fun!" He told her. "Bye sweetie." He said as he flew off.            Rainbow sighs this is it, my new school for the year, I guess I might as well try make some friends, but first let's find Flutters! She thought to herself.           Rainbow sees Fluttershy underneath a tree getting her hair braided by a white unicorn with  curly purple hair.             Rainbow dash walks up to them. "Hey Flutters." She said casually.       "Oh... Um hi Rainbow." Greeted the the shy  pegasus filly.        "Oh so this is the Pegasus Rainbow Dash you would always speak of." She said with enthusiasm. "Oh how rude of me!" "Let me introduce myself!" My name is Rarity!" "But if you want darling you can call me Rare for short, all my friends do." She said.    "Whoa! We just met and we're already friends!?" Rainbow questioned.      "Why of course, a friend of Fluttershy is a friend of mine." She insisted. Since class is about to start in a few moment (2 minutes) I'll introduce you to the rest of the girls at lunch." Said Rarity.          "There are more?" She asked. "Um... Yes. You have, Applejack, pinkiepie, sweetiebelle, and Scootaloo." Fluttershy stated. Soon the girls were.interrupted by Rarity's little sister sweetiebelle.        "Rarity?!" She called.       "Yes sweetie, whatever is the matter?" Rarity asked concerned.           "Have you seen Scootaloo?"She asked.     "Why no I haven't."she replied. Soon Rainbow and the others heard a buzzing sound for a distance that seemed to be heading there way.             "I guess that answers my question." Mumbled sweetie belle.       Soon the pony in question had soon arrived. "Yes I made it, and with only thirty seconds to spare!" Said the the Pegasus with the orange fur and a purple mane that was lighter than Rarity's as she puts her Scooter behind a bush near the school house.           "It's about time you got here!!!" Yelled sweetie.                  "Hey got here on time didn't I?" Scootaloo yelled back. "Still.... She said thinking of what else to say.               "Still nothing!" Scootaloo interrupted. "I'm here now aren't I?"       Once that was out of the way  Scootaloo then turned her attention to the Rainbow mane filly who was starring at her in a daze like she was in her own little world.          "Uh are you okay?" Scoots asked confused on why she was staring at her like that. Rainbow was poped out of her daze by her voice.       "What? Huh?" She said mumbling.      "Uh I was asking if you were okay." Said Scootaloo.        "Oh yeah I'm fine." Said Rainbow. "Sorry for staring." She apologizes.           "It's ok I'd probably be like too if I met someone as me!"She smirked. Not only is she pretty but she has spunk , I like her....... WAIT DID I JUST SAY PRETTY!!!???? I JUST MET HER RAINBOW GET A HOLD OF YOURSELF!!! she thought. She was snapped back to reality when the bell rang.         "Alright students time for class!" Said the teacher. Everypony went straight inside the building. Rainbow felt something grab her hand and looked to see what it was and saw scootaloo. "Come on!" She said. "You can sit behind me!" she said with excitement.     Rainbow's face went red and steam was coming out of her ears. Her heart was beating fast, she wore a goofy smile as her legs ran by themselves to catch up with the filly. Yep! I got it bad! Man and I just met her! she thought. Little did she know Scootaloo felt the same way, she didn't know why but she felt odd around the blue Pegasus, but the good type of odd. Lunch            It was a long boring day of math, science and,English. Rainbow thanked Celestia that being over.     "Now that we're all here you ladies may introduce yourselves to Our new friends."Rarity said. "Howdy!"I'm "Applejack." Said the earth pony with orange fur,blond mane and a brown hat. She had a southern accent. "And this little this little cutie here is my lil sister, Applebloom." She said pointing to the yellow earth pony with a red mane with a pink bow in it.      "Howdy!" Applebloom said with welcoming smile.          "I'M PINKIEPIE!!!!" Said the pink filly with a pink poofy hair that was slightly darker than her fur.       "Well you already met me.... Said Rarity as she continues. "And my little sister but I don't think you got her name, well this little darling is sweetiebelle."  She said implying the little white unicorn with the pink and purple mane.      "And the best for last!" Announced the orange Pegasus. Me! Scootaloo!"Glad to make your acquaintance." She said as she shook her hand. Rainbow shook her hand and tried to play it cool.       "No it was a pleasure meeting you." She said in a some what causal tone.         ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~     Lunch was now over and they were back in their classroom for another three hours of boring learning until the end of the day. Everypony was outside the school house waiting to be picked up and taken home. Fluttershy was going home with Rainbow so they had to wait for her Dad or Mom to arrive. The crusaders were sitting on the bench waiting for their parents or any other relatives to take them home. Soon Scootaloo heard her name get called so did the girls. Every one turned to see a filly in a black hoodie that was taller than all of them stand before the entrance of the School yard. The hood made it hard to see her face all you could see was her black mane sticking out. The older filly motioned her finger telling Scootaloo it was time to go.       Rainbow didn't like the looks of that girl something about her scared Rainbow. Rainbow was worried about Scootaloo's safety until she spoke up.      "Well that's my ride,bye guys!" Scoots said.          "Bye Scootaloo!" Said the six fillies. Rainbow just remained quiet, watching the older filly like a gryphon. Scootaloo walked up to the hooded filly and smiled. Rainbow watched as the filly bought her hands towards Scootaloo, Rainbow was about to take action when.... She saw the filly put Scootaloo on her back just above her wings. Scootaloo accidentally pulled some of the hoodie up only to show her muzzle, Rainbow saw that the filly was smiling a little bit, her muzzle was brown along with her wings, and her tail and mane black. Rainbow then saw her fly off with Scootaloo on her back laughing and cheering. Rainbowdash walked up to girls to asked them a question.       "Hey guys, who was that?" She asked.   "Oh that was Scootaloo's Cousin, Ayshian (Ash•Shin)". Replied Pinkiepie.      "Why was her face covered like that, like she didn't want anypony to see her face?" Rainbow questioned.     "Well we heard from Scootaloo's parents that when Ayshian's parents got a new job in Manehattan when she was younger they left her with them until they returned from their trip, and she's just missing them a awful Lot."Said Applejack. "They left her their when Scootaloo was  five." Aj said sadly.                  "Yeah, she doesn't get out much because of that." Replied Fluttershy.          "She does often help us with crusades as we told you at lunch we crusade a lot to get our cutie marks." Sweetiebelle said.       "Have you guys ever seen her face?" Asked Rainbow. Everypony nodded their heads.        "She's really nice once you get to know her." Said Fluttershy.       "And Funny!" Pinkiepie added.           "She's  tough that's for sure!" Applejack included.      "And rather decent. Rarity chimed in.        Rainbow took their word for it, and then saw her Dad. "Come on Fluttershy, that's us!" Called out Rainbow.     "Oh... Um coming." Studded Fluttershy.  Then they flew off to Rainbow's house. Hmmm.... That Ayshian filly seems a bit off. I'm gonna have to keep an eye on her for Scootaloo's safety Rainbow thought herself. Rainbow couldn't wait to tell he parents about her first day of 4th grade in the new town.Maybe ponyville isn't so bad after all. Their flight was quiet, too quiet. So Streak decided to break the silence. "So how was school Dash?" Asked Streak. There was no response. Rainbow dash was to busy in her own little world. "Oh Rainbow! Please! Let me be your marefriend!"Scootaloo cooed in Rainbow's arms. If you insist. "You know, ever since I met you today".... She looked in Scootaloo's big beautiful eyes and continued I knew we were meant to be together." She said. Oh Rainbow, kiss me!" she cooed. Rainbow leaned in for the kiss.... Until she was interrupted by a familiar voice of a stallion coming out of the filly's mouth." Rainbow! Rainbow!" Called the voice.         "Huh?" Rainbow was snapped out of her day dream.    I asked how was your first day of school. He said with a bit of confusion and concern for her well being. Rainbow was about to respond, until she felt something soft in her hands. "What the.... Where the heck did this come from!?" Rainbow questioned surprised as of why a cloud was in her hands.                 "Uh.. I was hoping you knew the answer to that one." Streak said with confusing in his voice.               "Um. Yeah. Fluttershy intervened. You dipped it in your arms and you were talking to it, then...you tried to kiss it... Fluttershy said as she blushes in embarrassment from her last statement. Rainbow's face turned completely red, her eyes shrunk to the size of ants, and her mouth was left wide open.        "Oh, I think I know what this is. Streak said with a sly smile as he continued. So who's the lucky colt? Rainbow looked away and then turned to face him with a nervous smile, and chuckle nervously. Streak's smile disappeared. "Oh. He cleared his throat and continued. So it was a filly wasn't it?" He asked calmly. Rainbow nodded her head slowly for this wasn't the first time that subject was brought up usually Firefly would pass it off as a phase and told her it was wrong ever time it was brought up to her attention, as for Streak he would always tell her that God said love everyone, and that he would love her no matter what. Fluttershy also knew about Rainbow being into fillies from flight camp. "So does this filly have a name?" He smiled sincerely.        " Yeah. her name is..... her name is Scootaloo. She said with a blush on her face her name made her heart beat fast probably faster than she could fly maybe. Fluttershy gasped.        "I had a feeling you like her, you guys like almost the same things, but I never knew you like,like her." She said in surprise.      "That's great but don't tell your mother, you know what she would say if she knew." he warned sternly but not mean.            "yes sir!" said Rainbow. At the Dash house.      Thirty minutes after they arrived Fluttershy was already picked up by her father. "Thank you for picking up my daughter Streak." He said.          "No problem!" said Streak. Fluttershy got on her father's back and they were off. "Remember Rainbow not a word about that crush don't even show your emotions about her if your going to tell your mother about meeting her." He reminded her."       "I know Dad." she groaned.             "Hey I'm just making sure you didn't forget." He said to his offense. Later       After Rainbow took a bath two hours after her mother got home from work, she and her parents sat at the dining table eating smashed potatoes with gravy, and cabbage. Everything was going well, until Streak saw something that almost made him choke on his cabbage. Rainbow was making a replica of Scootaloo's face with her food, and she didn't even know it. To save them for a horrible fate he had to eat some of it just so his wife wouldn't see.     " Hey can I have some." He asked. Just before he got an answer, took a big scoop of Rainbow's plate. Rainbow was snapped out of her trance yet again. When she saw what she was doing, her eyes almost popped out. Her mother didn't notice because she was to busy giving her husband the stink eye.      "Why didn't you just ask for more if you wanted some!?" she asked frustrated. Streak just shrugged and gave her a nervous smile. Firefly just sighed at her husband, while Rainbow finished her food.      "I'm heading to bed early night guys. "She pretended to yawn.       " Night Rainbow." They said in union. Rainbow went straight to her room and went straight to bed. That was a close one! Thank you Dad! She thought. Rainbow pouted.       "I know sweetie, but I got reassigned to ponyville" Said Rainbow Streak.      "Couldn't you just have said no?"Rainbow mumbled.     "Now,now Rainbow, were only going to be living here for a year not your whole life." Firefly Insisted firefly.      "Okay Dash I'll make you a deal."By the year's end if you want to move back to Cloudsdale then we will but if you don't we'll stay. Deal?"Asked streak.     "It's a deal!"She exclaimed.       "Here we are!" Steak announced. "Our new home!"    "Whoa! This place is huge!"Said Dash.     "Eh! It's not that big, but I guess it would look big to a little filly like you."Joked streak.      "Hey! I'm not small. I just haven't grown a lot yet.    "It was just a joke sweetheart." Firefly chuckled. Rainbow gave them a look that showed she was not a amused.   "Hey, how about you go explore while your mother and I unpack some stuff."Said streak.     "Sure Dad." Agreed Rainbow. Rainbow walk into each room finding two bathrooms,two restrooms, and five bedrooms,and the left over rooms where just rooms that probably would be filled with junk or be some type of living room, game room or something. The restrooms where down stairs and the bathrooms where up stairs. They had three bedrooms up stairs and two down stairs. The cloud house was acceptable, very beautiful. Soon she was done exploring and came to check on her parents progress.     "So,how's the unpacking going?" She asked. She walked in to see a  decorated Living room. "Woah." She said.             She was awestruck by what she saw. There was a big screen in the center of the living room the couch not far probably about five hooves away. Then a recliner chair across it about two hooves away.      "Like what we've done so far!?" Asked streak.       "Yeah! It looks awesome!!!" She replied.      "Well how about you take a bath, dinner should be done by the time you're done." Said firefly.        "Okay mom."Rainbow said. Rainbow flew upstairs to the nearest bathroom. After her bath she couldn't help be be confused because she didn't know which room was hers so she yelled,       "Mom which room is mine!?"      "It's the one down the hall of bathroom you're in!" She said in a volume to which Rainbow could hear her. Rainbow Looked and saw the room and walked into it when she came in she saw it was already decorated.what! How did they do that with out me noticing?! she thought. Rainbow seemed to notice sticky notes on the  drawers of her dresser that label which was which soon she saw the one that said pajamas and open the drawer and took out some two piece pj's put them on and headed down stairs. She when in to the kitchen and found her mom had made carrotdogs, those where her favorite. She brought her food to the dinning room table and ate. When finished her mother told her to brush her teeth then go to bed because tomorrow was her first day of school.           After brushing her teeth she went to her bedroom and went to her bed got underneath the blanket and looked at the ceiling and thought New school huh maybe it might not be so bad, hopefully. Good thing fluttershy goes there so I guess it won't be so bad. Rainbow then closed her eyes and went to sleep. //-------------------------------------------------------// Mornings with the dash family. //-------------------------------------------------------// Mornings with the dash family.      It was early in the morning when Rainbow was suddenly awoken by a loud beeping noise coming from her alarm clock. "Five more minutes." She groaned as she hit the snooze button. Soon she was back to sleep until five minutes went by and once again she was awoken by that annoying beeping sound. "Alright!" " Alright!" "I'm up!" She yawned. Rainbow got out of the warmth of her bed and did some  stretches, afterwards  she went in the closet and got some blue jeans, a blue shirt that was darker then her fur with her cutie mark on it and a blue leather jacket slightly lighter then her shirt. Thank Celestia there's no dress code. Heh. Don't want to look like a nerd now do I? Man I'm hungry let go gets so grub! she thought as she put her clothes on the bed. She would put those on after eating so she wouldn't mess up her clothes.         Rainbow went straight to the bathroom to brush teeth and maybe take a restroom break. Once done she headed down stairs and was welcomed by the aroma of pancakes. In the kitchen she saw her mother making just that.         "Excited for you first day of school?" Her mother asked sincerely.    "Not as much as I am to eat these pancakes!"  Rainbow exclaimed.      "Hehheh! I can tell you're gonna make a lot of friends!" Streak laughed while reading the morning paper. Rainbow engulfed those pancakes like she hadn't ate in days. "Woah, Rainbow slow down, you don't want to get a stomachache now do you?" Her mother scolded. When Rainbow had finished eating, she washed her hands and face, then she put on her clothes.         It was 7:15 and school started at 7:30 her house was about eight minutes away. So when she got there she would have seven minutes to spare.    "Ready to go,Rainbowdash?" Asked her father.      "Sir! Yes sir!" She said doing her best army cadet impression. "At ease soldier!Let's get those wings moving out to door!" He said doing his best war general impression. They both laughed at each other's antics. Firefly couldn't help but giggle at how silly the were being.      "Ok kiddo let's get going."Her father said. "Ok Dad, race ya!" She said. And she was off.        "Hey! That's not fair!" Her father shouted. "Well you better catch up because she's way ahead of you."Said his wife as she was trying to hold in her unruly giggles.     Soon streak was off to catch up with his daughter.
