I could hear the strong winds whining from the hole we created not 30 minutes ago. I had dragged us further into the cave to escape the wind. "W-w-why d-did w-we ha-have t-to l-lea-eave......" I stuttered through slime clattering teeth. I instinctively pulled Ana's wing more over me as it provides me with more warmth, not much but still better than nothing. I could feel my eye lids getting heavier as my strength to stay awaken lessened. ("Is this it? Is this how I die? At least I'm gonna die in Ana's arms and wings.") I thought darkly to myself.
The world around me started to fade as the last thing I saw was the crackling fire over Ana's neck.
