Equestria is in turmoil. So soon after the formation of the nation, a powerful being - the spirit of chaos, otherwise known as Discord, arrived and took over. With Equus in turmoil, two Alicorns, Celestia and Luna, head to what remains of the everfree forest - now a series of floating islands, separated by a void which prevents flight - to gain the Elements of Harmony, and liberate the land, and perhaps the whole world.

But Discord's influence is all-encompassing, and in order to get to their destination, they will have to gain the trust of a matriarchal society built atop the islands - the Master of Chaos's influence driving the civilisation to extremes of misandry, as it's mares enslave the stallions.

And to gain this trust, they will have to live like them… For a time.
