Winter in the valley town of Ponyville brought with it more than just the fluffy layer of snow. With the cold weather and chillful wind, a natural stillness fell on the land as life in the small town slowed. Gentle snowflakes floated through the air as ponies walked through the snow covered streets.
Among the thick layer of gray clouds that floated in the afternoon sky flew a copper colored pegasus. His brown mane and scarf flickered in the crisp winter air as he glided across town.
The copper pegasus soon fluttered down to the ground, his hooves clopping against the cobblestone road. He stood amongst the town’s streets that were lined with near identical cottages. He walked the rest of the way, a short distance before he reached his girlfriend’s house, a typical house sitting in line with other typical buildings.
He knocked on the front door, adjusting the green winter cap that sat loosely on his head. He only had to wait a few minutes before the door slowly opened, revealing a dull yellow earthy pony.
“Muffin Cakes!” the dull yellow mare exclaimed, swooping in for a big hug. “Oh my gosh! What a surprise!”
“I’m on break from school and figured I’d surprise you,” the stallion answered back. “Can I come in?”
“Well of course! Come on,” the mare answered, quickly tugging her boyfriend out of the cold.
Muffin felt his body warm up once he was inside. He was quick to pull off his snow covered winter wear, tossing the cap and scarf over onto the nearby coat rack.
“I'll whip up some hot chocolate to warm you up,” Aria stated, making a happy trot off into the kitchen. “Warm yourself up by the fire!”
After brushing off a bit of snow that clung to his bangs, Muffin Cakes did just that. He journeyed in the opposite direction of his girlfriend, into the living room.
A three cushioned couch sat in front of an inviting fire as the flames illuminated the room with its warm glow. Little picture frames and tiny knick knacks populated the mantlepiece, mostly consisting of family photos and gifts the the two ponies have given each other over the last couple months. A few pillows rested on the arms of the couch as well as a big, plush blanket draping over its back.
Muffin made himself right at home, hopping up on the comfy couch and nesting into the pile of pillows. He pulled the large blanket off the couch and draped it over the nest and himself.
As he waited for Aria to return, he passed the time to just watch the flames crackle in the fireplace. The big logs that roasted in there slowly broke down as they snapped and hissed ever so faintly.
“Back!” Aria exclaimed walking into the room with two big mugs of hot cocoa. A generous layer of marshmallows topped the head of both drinks, hardly allowing much of the dark brown drink to show through. She handed both mugs over to the comfy pegasus before tossing another log on the fire. “I'm glad you were able to make it. It'd be a shame to have all this hot chocolate go to waste!”
The mare climbed up onto the couch, slipping underneath the warmth of the blanket. She snuggled into the nest of pillows, nuzzling in close to Muffin.
“I'm glad I showed up then,” the stallion answered, handing Aria a warm mug. He took a sip of his sugary drink as he shimmied closer to the snuggling mare, readjusting the blanket at some places to keep the cold at bay.
The two snuggled on the couch as the fireplace lit up their cuddling bodies. Occasionally the snapping of the fire punctuated the atmosphere as the two slurped their hot drink.
“I really missed this,” Muffin softly said, nuzzling against his girlfriend’s cheek.
“Me too,” Aria answered back, “it’s been too long.”
“I know I know,” Muffin answered back, “school’s just been keeping me busy with exams and stuff. Plus I have an internship in the works.”
“Of course,” Aria replied with a nod, “I just miss ya is all.”
“And I missed you too, my little filly bear.”
Aria’s ears then perked up, “oh! That reminds me.” She steadily pulled away from their cuddling, dragging herself out from under the warm blanket.
The dull yellow pony trotted over to the closet where she dug through the various boxes that sat inside. After some searching, she finally returned to the couch with a plain white box. Printed in black ink on the front face of the box illustrated a stylistic, fluffy cloud.
A smile grew on Muffin’s face when his eyes set upon the box. “You didn’t,” he asked in excited disbelief, taking a healthy gulp of his drink.
“Mhmm,” Aria simply replied, opening up the box’s flaps.
A gentle wafting of baby powder floated into the air when the package was opened, revealing a clear plastic case of diapers. The diapers were large and thick, easily being big enough to fit an adult’s waist. Its powder blue colored wings surrounded a thick white core that had little stars dotting its surface. The words “Dry Clouds” were written on a plain white sticker on one of the packages corner
Aria extracted one of the diapers, the garment crinkling loudly in her hooves. “I thought we’d do something special for your visit.”
“Wow! They’re so thick!” Muffin explained, wearing the biggest smile on his face.
“I even gathered some foal toys that I use for babysitting,” Aria added, “so if you were thinking to wearing these for a little while...”
Muffin excitability brushed the blanket aside, crudely snatching the diaper out of Aria’s hooves. “Well what are we waiting for? Time to get this filly bear in her diapers!”
Aria was caught off guard at first, but quickly smiled as she moved herself down to the floor. She splayed out her legs as her boyfriend kneeled down with the open diaper in tow. Muffin fumbled with the diaper’s tapes quite a bit, having to readjust them a couple times to ensure optimal snugness. He even had to readjust the diaper entirely to size it up around Aria’s waist better. He wasn’t the most skilled diaper changer. After some waiting, however, he managed to get the diaper around Aria’s waist, fitted just right to her figure.
“Not bad,” Aria smiled as she pulled herself back to her feet, “you’ve been practicing.”
“M-mostly on myself,” Muffin answered with a little blush.
“Well lay down then. I can’t be the only one waddling around in a diaper.”
Muffin Cakes lowered himself to the floor, replacing Aria with his legs spread out. “Done!” Aria exclaimed smiling up at her boyfriend proudly.

“You know, THAT face,” Aria answered before giving Muffin an overly exaggerated example of his dazed expression. “You look like a toddler peeing himself like that.”
“And you’re any better?” Muffin smirked as he pulled himself out from the center of the toys. “You should see the look on your face whenever I catch you sucking your hoof.” He illustrated this statement with an exaggerated expression of his own, making sure to stick out his tongue over enthusiastically for a silly result.
Aria blew a raspberry before chucking a plush block at the stallion. “I don’t look like that!”
Muffin just barely dodged the incoming toy as he quickly retaliates by throwing a wolf plushie right back at her. “Do too!” For emphasis he made the expression again, making sure to get his hoof covered in drool as she shoved it sloppily in his mouth.
Another foal toy flew through the air and hit Muffin on the side of the head. “Jerky diaperbutt!”
Muffin quickly snatched up the nearest toy to throw at his diapered girlfriend. He picked up a soft plastic ball filled with little noisemakers that rattled inside it’s empty interior. A little involuntary giggle slipped out of his mouth as he gave the ball another shake. The world around him fell away for a moment as his attention was completely occupied by the fun little ball.
Before he could play with it for long, Aria spoke up, “hey!” Causing Muffin to look up, you gonna roll that ball over or just keep hogging it all?”
Muffin smirked and stuck his tongue out. “Fine,” he exclaimed before rolling the ball over to the mare, causing it to jingle and make all kinds of little noises, “you can play too. No need for fussin’.”
Aria returned the raspberry in kind and rolled the ball back, “I wasnt fussin’!”
Muffin laughed as he picked up a nearby stuffed teddy bear. “Well Mister Bear thinks you fuss an awful lot!” He wiggled the toy in front of his girlfriend playfully, “Mister Bear tells me that you fuss about lotsa things like meal time and diapee changes and bottle feedings...”
“That reminds me! I’ve got another surprise,” Aria smirked, “be right back.” Once again the mare disappeared into the kitchen, her thick diaper make her waddle greatly.
After a brief wait, she came back with two bottles, one pink and the other blue. Both of them were enlarged in size for older ponies, filled to the brim with cold and refreshing milk. She handed one off to Muffin.
“Baby bottles?” Muffin examined the blue bottle in his hooves.
“Baby bottles with a little extra something,” Aria corrected with a wink. “I figured a little diaper butt like you wouldn’t be satisfied with just hot cocoa.”
“Just tastes like milk,” Muffin quipped, taking a quick sip of his bottle.
“Well hold on, don’t drink any of it yet!” Aria quickly answered, pulling the bottle down, away from Muffin’s muzzle, “come on into the bedroom with me.” She winked as she steadily pulled the stallion away.
Leaving their blanket and the warmth of the fireplace, the two ponies slipped into the bedroom where a queen sized bed waited. Aria energetically hopped into the sheets with Muffin quickly following close behind.
Their bottles sloshed as their diapers crinkled as the two ponies snuggled up close to each other. Muffin gave Aria a little kiss on the lips before popping his bottle into his mouth. “Somepony was thirsty,” Aria smirked, temporarily breaking away from her own bottle to badger the stallion.
“Slow as always,” Muffin smirked, shifting his position around in the bed.
“It’s not always a race,” Aria snobbishly replied, “I happen to enjoy the taste...” Her thoughts trailed off as she noticed her boyfriend moving about.
