Lightning Returns To The Academy

[Lightning Dust]

It's been 2 years after the Wonderbolt Academy incident. Lightning Dust just found out that now her rival, Rainbow Dash was a full fledged Wonderbolt which angered her. She hated Rainbow Dash, she was the reason why she wasn't able to be a Wonderbolt. She found out by a newspaper which she later on crumbled up and threw in the fire, angry that Rainbow was able to live her dream whilst she wasn't. Lightning Dust was now sitting on her sofa in her own house. She had given up to be a Wonderbolt and was living as a weather pony. Her life began to be a boring wreck until last night where she thought to herself

"What if I sneak into the Wonderbolts building and get revenge on Rainbow Dash? She thought

A smirk grew on her face when she began to think of ideas and plans for this scheme. She then spent a full night planning out the perfect attack, she didn't know what she'll do to Rainbow but she knew that it wouldn't be pretty.

[Rainbow Dash]

Rainbow Dash finished the final lap, completing her daily training routine. She landed and everypony watching was cheering her on. She was always known to give 110% percent at her training. She took off her goggles and began trotting over to the cafeteria. Spitfire then saw her from the distance and walked beside her.

"Don't you ever get tired? It seems like you might be pushing yourself to hard sometimes" Spitfire said

"Nah, I'm fine. Just getting something to eat" Rainbow responded

They both started talking about the next big show which they're going to perform at tomorrow. Obviously Rainbow's friends back in Ponyville will be there cheering her on. Rainbow had to move out of Cloudsdale and is now staying with the rest of the Wonderbolts, this however meant that for the first few weeks as a full on Wonderbolt she hardly got any time to visit Ponyville and her friends. This was a hard thing to cope with but eventually Spitfire did tell her that after training she is free to go and catch up with her friends whenever she wants, and Rainbow was happy to hear that. However today she didn't have any plans, maybe just to go relax before the big show tomorrow but other than that there wasn't much for her to do. She could also practice but for right now she just needed to eat something or else she might pass out or something.

After both she and Spitfire ate they both hanged out for a couple more minutes before Spitfire had to leave for an interview for tomorrow's show. Rainbow on the other hoof went back to her own room. In her own room she had a bed, a closet to keep the uniforms in and other things to keep the place looking high to her standards. She climbed up onto her bed and crossed both her hind and forelegs and closing her eyes, trying to get some rest before tomorrow.

It was now night time and Lightning has finally finished up the preparations of getting revenge on the one and only rainbow pegasus. She sneaked around the Wonderbolts Academy, where the Wonderbolts were still meant to be at. She was wearing both a black jacket and a mask, trying to blend into the darkness which came with the night. She got in front of the door, checking both ways and making sure that she was the only pony wondering about at this time of day. She then opened the door which let out a creaking sound, she then got inside and closed it shut, letting out a sigh of relief. She also brought a bag with her which contained all of the equipment which she was going to use on Dashie tonight. Her grin only increasing as she looked forwards, a hallway filled with doors which all led to different ponies, it was only a matter of time until she found which one belonged to Rainbow Dash.

She walked through the dark and mostly empty hallways, the sounds of her hooves clopping against the ground echoing into the darkness. She could barely see anything, but she was at least able to see what was right in front of her. After minutes of aimless wondering about she stumbled onto a door with a sign which read "Rainbow Dash's Room" Her smile grew wider and he placed her hoof on the door knob, ready to twist it and open it. Suddenly a force behind her grabbed her and pulled her backwards. It felt like two ponies grabbing both of her forelegs, preventing her of moving.

"Nice try thief, but as we all know that nopony should be even thinking about attempting to rob the Wonderbolts" a raspy mare's voice came from behind her

"Now lets see who tried to rob our newest recruit" a stallion spoke up

Those two voices... they sounded familiar

"Wait! Soarin? Spitfire? Is that you?" Lightning Dust spoke up, shaking for what the head Wonderbolts might do to her

There was a stream of silence, only being able to hear Lightning's constant heavy breathing.

"That voice... Lightning Dust?" The feminine voice spoke up

The mask which Lightning Dust then got taken off, revealing her face to the two ponies. She could heard a vague chuckle coming from behind her as she had her eyes closed shut.

"I should have known that you would have tried to get back at Rainbow like this" The feminine voice said

Lightning was then thrown onto the ground and the two ponies walked up in front of her, revealing to her who they were. They were Soarin and Spitfire, the ponies which Lightning Dust 100% didn't want to see today.

"Now, what should we do to this poor little pony? Got any ideas Soarin?" Spitfire said whilst facing the stallion next to her

Soarin just grinned back at her and nodded which made Spitfire grin too, Lightning Dust had no idea what was going to happen to her but she was definitely scared for her life. She could go to jail, she could be humiliated for the rest of her life, her whole life could be ruined right here. Spitfire then walked over to her and headbutted her skull in, making Lightning Dust go unconscious.
