The Cost Of A Chaotic Life

I had nearly forgotten that we were enemies at the beginning of this......sorry I am getting off topic.

As we jump away from our clashing anger Knytt soon takes view of the surrounding area then gains a grim look on his face then runs.

“Where do you think you’re going!” I say towards Knytt who jumps off a into a small gap in the ground only to be caught by a small hoverboard “ Even a fool knows how to not die by a humiliating environmental related death” as he says this he flies off leaving us to deal with the collapsing cave.

“Come on we have to get the heck out of here” Reese says only to have a pile of rocks fall over him.

“REESE?!” Wish shouts out as she rushes towards the pile of rocks that just fell “Please tell me you’re alright......

Reese soon starts talking which fills us all with a sense of relief “I’m fine guys and that shockwave opened an exit for me so i’ll meet the three of you on the outside!” and with that said we all sprint to look for an exit and as we continue running Wish and me get separated from Locke as the floor opens up leaving Locke on the side of the exit “I guess i’ll meet you two outside now hurry up and go find another exit!” is all Locke says before he leaves the cave.

Now Wish had become incredibly terrified from this whole experience so I had to yank her by the arm so she would keep up “We are not going to make it if you don’t pick up the pace!”’ I say hoping to make her move faster “I’m sorry with all that has happened today...i’m sorry for bringing you here Baron...”

Now I nearly slow down as she says this but I keep going for her safety “I don’t regret coming here and true I didn’t enjoy Knytts intrusion but still this was “interesting”.....” with this she picks up speed and we near another exit.

“I see another exit!” and as she says it the ceiling starts to give and as she prepares for the worst I shove her towards the exit “Why.......” is all she manages to say.

“Because I care.....” and after that a pile of rocks falls around me....

“YES THIS IS THE EXACT SPOT I ARRIVED IN THANK YOU BOY WE’RE GOING HOME” Ruby excitedly yell’s forcing me to say “What are you talking about.....clearly there is no way we can move from this spot! and as I finish saying this the ground breaks “Of course......”

As the ground gives I fall in what seems to be a bottomless pit

….....Back to the beginning

“Well im sure when i’ll die I won’t leave too much of a mess on the ground” I say starting to lose it

“Relax captain hopeless we’re still not dead yet....”Ruby says rolling his eye “How can you say that we’ve been falling for an hour....i’m pretty sure its the end of me!”

“Look would you shut up and look around” Ruby says starting to be irritated by my whining “What do you want me to...see....what in the world....” this is all I managed to say after seeing that I was no longer in the cave instead I was dive bombing towards a colorful land mass as I was now in the ….sky?

“How do I go from a cave to high up in the air?” I asked Ruby extremely confused now “Simple I told you that the spot we were on was the way I got to your world from this world here and the area of arrival was just randomly picked.” Ruby says “Wow that’s fascinating but um.......HOW DO I LAND?!” I scream.

“Oh I didn’t think that through.....well see you on the ground Baron.” Is all Ruby says before disappearing into my mind again

As I brace for impact I attempt to steer myself into something that could break my fall and soon I aim for a bush and land hard.

*Thud*

As I land i could’ve sworn the ground shook but I ignore it as I pull myself up “I’m alive?” I say seeing if I wasn’t dreaming “I’M *Bonk* AL.....AUGH” I get beaned in the head by my bludgeon effectively shutting me up “Ow......” is all I say before pulling my body of the land.

“Ow....alright so this is where you came from eh Ruby?” I state as he replies “Yes and it seems you have landed right in......ah yes Canterlot and in the castle grounds no less.”

“What the heck is a Canterlot?” I say completely confused “Canterlot is the most well known area in this world and is home to the royal sisters.” Ruby says glad that he still remembers some things of this world “Well then let’s go pay the royals a visit as we might as well let them know we’re here.” I say as we advance forward only to have Ruby interrupt with “You sure thats a good idea?”

“Trust me....what’s the worst that could happen.”

As we walk around and enter the castle we are greeted by armored......ponies? “Um.....Ruby why are there ponies walking around here?” I ask Ruby who replies with “Oh yes these must be who guard the princesses” he says which just confuses me more “That still doesn’t explain why they are ponies....” as I finish the sentence Ruby says “Oh thats because ponies make up the main population of this part of the land...there are other things too such as griffons, zebras, and dragons to name a few.”

“Stop talking to yourself you trespasser! The guard pony....said?

“I’m no trespasser i’m just here to ask the princesses for a bit of help” I say attempting to get the guard off my back which doesn’t seem to work as he gets mad at me even more “I don’t trust an abomination like you!”

“Abomination.....what gives you the right to call me that!” I shout towards the annoying guard

“Your kind in general seemed weird to me but you seem even less trustworthy with that weird arm of yours as its off color from the rest of your body!”

“What is going in on here?” A Feminine voice speaks up from behind the guards which causes all of them to look over “PRINCESS CELESTIA!” they all shout in unison as they watch a large authority figure behind.

“Princess eh....let me see what she looks like.....GIANT TALKING ALICORN!”

“Yep that would be Princess Celestia.....” Ruby says surprised by my reaction towards the white alicorn with the multi colored mane despite seeing the guard ponies.

“Princess this human was trespassing in your castle!” the guard that I was arguing with just a second ago said “Well atleast they know what I am...”

“Another one?” Celestia says “Are you sure he isn’t one of the ones that were already in our land?”

“This one is different because of his arm.”

“Different....private move over so that I may see this strange one.” Celestia says ordering the guard to move over

As she Started looking towards me she started scanning my body and soon noticed my arm but ignored it as she thought I may have just burned my arm in an accident then continues to identify me but soon comes to a halt as she sees my eyes which makes her go wide eye

“Guards you are all dismissed i must have a private audience with our guest and on your way please alert my sister to join in immediately!” Celestia says having the annoying guard speak up again “But my princess are you sure that is such a good idea?

“Are you questioning my authority private?” She says which has him speak up again “No of course not i’m terribly sorry....carry on.” and with that he sulks away with the other guards following him.

As the guards left Celestia made me follow her into the main room and soon after another alicorn came in, but this one was dark blue with a black as night mane.

“I take it thats Luna right Ruby?” I ask the spirit still inside my head “I may barely remember many things, but yes that would be the princess of the night.”

“Sister why is there another human here and why is he talking to himself.....”

“I was just about to ask him things that I also want to find out Luna” Celestia said averting her gaze from Luna to me “For starters who are you?”

“Who am I.....My name is.......it’s Baron your majesty” I tell the white alicorn in front of me who then follows up with “I don’t want to involve formalities in this conversation but what are you Baron of?”

“The....The Lost Hearts...”

“E-excuse me?” She says making sure she didn’t hear anything wrong

“He said the Lost Hearts....your majesty....” Ruby says appearing in front of the Princesses causing them to go quiet until Luna speaks up “You may have a different form but there is no mistaking it....you are Discords top general Ruby Flames...the flaming soldier of Equestria....”

“Yes thats my name and who did you say I was top general for.....”

“Discord....how would you forget the name of the beast you slaved towards everyday to torment us.” Luna says towards the confused spirit “Because that beast cursed me to be separated from my body and to lose my memories as long as my spirit and body are apart” Ruby says now angered toward the creature he finally remembers.

“Enough of that now Celestia may you tell me why you chose to interrogate me...what did you spot on me that was so suspicious” I ask the Princess of the sun “Well since I now see that your arm is linked to Ruby somehow that answers half of my question but your eyes still confuse me...

If there’s one thing about me that immediately freaks out someone......it’s my eyes...my eye color is red and the part that’s supposed to be white is yellow...

“I don’t know why my eyes are like this as I had them like this since birth...” I say with Ruby following with “He is the other half of Discord so he obviously has to have some qualities of him!”

“So this is who I was sensing after all.......” Celestia says understanding how I look like I am now but causes me to say “After all?”

“I’ll explain....to my and Lunas best we shall attempt to tell you all that we can tell you”

As we walked towards the main entrance of the castle Luna and Celestia start telling me about Discord, about how I could do the things I do, and the first time Celestia started sensing my presence.....
