Within the beginning, Chapter 1.
Everything was normal within Canterlot, Everypony was doing what they did everyday, except for a group of fillies and colts who were being lead through the Canterlot palace garden by their teacher Cheerilee. They had just finished with the statue of Discord and went to a statue near Discord’s. The statue looked to be made of obsidian and was a pony as tall as celestia in heavy armor with a horn and wings, with what looked like the full moon on the shoulders of the armor, the cutie mark looked like a full moon with a hoof mark in the center with lines spiraling from the center of the hoof to the sides of the moon. The statue held a stoic pose with its legs straight, bat like wings flared out and with its head slightly tilted down, almost looking down on them as they walked up to it. Embedded in the base that the statue was on was a large sword made out of a black metal with electric blue engravings going up the blade of the sword like vines, with the hilt being a dark blue color as well, with the mare in the moon engraved into the hilt in a silver color. This sword is almost as tall as the statue was. The statue's eyes were open, looking like it was glaring at something, which revealed slitted eyes, and it had it’s teeth slightly exposed which showed sharp fangs.
“Now this statue has a lot of history with it, now what do you all notice about it?” Cheerilee asked her class. The class stared at it for a while when the CMC decided to answer for them.
“It looks kind of like Celestia!” Applebloom Shouted.
“It looks evil!” Scootaloo also shouted
“It kind of looks like Nightmare Moon!” Sweetie Belle yelled.
“This type of pony is called a Draconicorn, a pony who is born from a dragon and a unicorn. This one pony was the only draconicorn in written history. He has magic like a unicorn, but the durability of a dragon. Now, what do you all think the cutie mark represent?” Cheerilee asked.
“Doom!” Applebloom Shouted.
“Destruction!” Scootaloo again shouted
“Control!” Sweetie Belle yelled.
“How could that cutie mark mean control!” Scootaloo argued with Sweetie Belle.
“Girls!” Cheerilee yelled. “I don’t want another fight here.” Cheerilee then looked back to the statue. “The three of you are right though. The cutie mark on the statute means a few things. One being the chosen of Wars plans. Another is that this cutie mark means the end of everything that we know. But, the cutie mark also means order and control thanks to the history that follows the statute.”
“The history that is with the statute is that a long time ago, around when the royal sisters began to rule Equestria, this Pony, whose name has been forgotten to history, began to rise from the southern area of Equestria, bringing destruction to the nations that were against him. His allies were the Changelings, the Crystal Empire, and Dragons from a Kingdom during that time period. The pony also had some generals with him, four to be exact, with their names not being forgotten in history. Their names are Discord, Tirek, Sombra, and Nightmare Moon. Legend has it that he would command his soldiers with his generals, and his soldiers would all have one thing in common which was glowing cyan blue eyes. His generals had the same thing, but were not as mindless as his soldiers.” Cheerilee then began to walk away to continue the tour with her class following her.
When they walked away, Discord’s statue had cracks all over it and broke, unleashing Discord from his prison. As Discord looked around, he saw the same cracks form on the obsidian statue near with a dark mist falling out of the cracks on the statue. With a dark blast, the statue exploded with a small dark energy pulse, revealing a pony that was as tall as Celestia with dark black fur. The pony’s wings were very leathery like and he had glowing cyan blue eyes. The armor on the pony was a pure black color with midnight blue engravings all over it. The moons on the shoulders of the pony’s armor was glowing a cyan blue color as well. The pony’s hair, which was a black color with a ash blue highlight was slicked back.
The pony’s horn lit up with magic that was a cyan blue color with some black mixed in it a bit. The hilt of the sword embedded in the base that once held the pony statue on it glowed and the whole sword lifted itself out of the base and to the pony’s side. ‘So Spyro is free from his prison as well?’ Discord thought as the pony, whose name is Spyro, then stepped off of the statue base. As soon as he did though, a nearby unicorn guard rushed up to Spyro and pointed his sword at him.
“What are you doing here and what did you do to.” The guard began, but stopped as Spyro’s cyan blue eyes glowed brighter than before with the guard’s eyes glowing the same color.
“Take your blade, and slice it across your neck.” Spyro spoke slowly. The guard did exactly as Spyro told him to do, killing himself and dropping to the ground with his eyes no longer glowing like they were before. Spyro then walked away, stepping on the guard's corpse and stopped. Spyro’s horn glowed again, and Spyro then slashed the air in front of him with his horn. Right after that, a portal opened up big enough to allow Spyro to walk through it. After Spyro walked through the portal, it sealed itself and disappeared, leaving no evidence that Spyro was there except for the dead guard. Discord only could stare at what Spyro had done.
“I never seen Spyro do that before. In fact he looks very different than he did last time we meet. I wonder what this could mean?” Discord questioned allowed.
In the Everfree Forest.
A portal opened up inside of the forest, and out of it walked Spyro. When he walked out of the portal, it sealed itself and disappeared from existence. Spyro then walked through the forest, but something was weird in the forest. The area around Spyro was silent, with nothing, not even insects making a sound as he walked through the forest. His walk brought him to a old bridge that was over a cavern. Spyro then dematerialized into a shadow like cloud, and went over the cavern with ease.
Now over the cavern, Spyro rematerialized back to normal, and continued to walk towards the castle of the royal sisters. When he got to the door, Spyro then charged his horn, and blasted the doors right off of their hinges. As Spyro walked into the castle, the sun went down quickly and was replaced by the moon.
“Discord.” Spyro growled to himself as walked in. Soon, Spyro found himself in the throne room, but he looked disappointed. “So it is true, Celestia and Luna were at that one place I was at.” Spyro then walked up to the thrones, and glared at the the thrones. Spyro then walked away to the middle of the throne room. He then reopened a portal and walked through it, sealing the portal behind him.
