Certain Kinds of Flowers are Different
Prologue: Minorities of True Individuality
Load Full StoryFlowers are all different. Some are different by color. Others by shape. Others by their scent. And others by size. But all in all, most flowers are the. Only select color, shapes, scents, and sizes are used for most flowers. These kinds of flowers are your typical flowers. Sometimes, one of these typical flowers is a but different, but by only a bit. Only by one aspect: color, shape, scent, size.
But this only counts for most flowers. The minorities can not be forgotten.
The minorities are often forgotten. More often ignored or excluded. For a minority is less than the majority, so why bother with it? But the minority of flowers are different from the other flowers. These flowers contrast in color, shape, scent, and size. These flowers are unique, every one of them. But they are neglected and left behind.
By most.
For the minority is always accountable. The minority will pick these flowers over the other typical ones, to stand out and be different. The majority will pick the flowers that are the same as everyone else's, so they can blend in. But the minority can see what the majority does not.
How special these flowers are.
Uniqueness. Specialty. The minority finds this, and uses it to both their advantage, and the advantage of what they have selected. Simple gray flower with yellow in it could easily be missed. If one were to look closer, they may see that this flower isn't symmetrical, unlike the rest of the flowers.
Although, by this point, I'm not talking about flowers anymore. I'm talking about things much deeper, and much more important than flowers. Though we still cannot forget that flowers are important, what I'm saying outranks it.
You just need to look closer, look deeper. Be part the minority and take the time to look. But be part of the true minority: the one being looked for. It doesn't what who you are and what you do, but all can be one that is looked for. A certain grey pegasus with a blonde mane would be one that is looked for, not because she looks the same, but because she is different.
I'm rambling now, aren't I? The mysteries of life and society can cause such things. For today, our story is about a pony, not a flower. It is actually about two ponies and a draconequus, but starts with a different pony and a zebra. For few in any world know the true meaning of individuality.
