The Dark One
Desperation
Previous ChapterOver in Appleloosa, the area has been fortified, walls lined the dusty fields even around the apple orchard, after their encounter with Dra, they needed to be more able to defend themselves from another attack, but even so, everyone feared for their lives every passing day, expecting the wrath of the new ruler to rain down on them. The resistance kept the doors open for anyone that wanted to escape the violent guards, refugees from all over Equestria flocked to the slowly forming fortress, among them was a giant gryphon, dwarfing every other refugee, even the other gryphons, his wing feathers and body were as bright as the sun itself and he had a regal, almost royal look about him, his head feathers bristled up like a crown of sorts.
The large gryphon introduced him self to Breaburn first, "I am Sunwing, I have come from far away to aid you in the coming war."
"What do ya mean? With that Dra vamit?" Breaburn asked.
"Correct, I am part on an ancient order that sealed him away over five thousands years ago, I am among the last remaining descendants..." Sun says.
"Why seal him away, why not jus kill Im' and never deal with Im' again?" Breaburn asks.
"That is impossible, Dra cannot be slain, at least not for long, it is said that when the moment comes, when darkness rises again, only a piercing light can chase it away." Sun says.
"Well ya'll can talk about more with Starlight, she's been a big help in fightin' his dark magics." Breaburn points to a tent in the distance. Starlight was inside her lab-tent, working with beakers filled with the remaining fluid from the void-being that attacked several days ago. Trixie soon stepped in to make sure she was ok.
"How is it going?" Trixie asked.
"I cant be sure, watch this." She responds.
With a glow of her horn a small black crystal shard levitates over to the purple goop. It pulses and surges towards it from behind the glass, the shard it's self wiggling to get closer.
"What does it mean?" Trixie asks.
"I don't know, but these shards have started appearing lately, and when anything that gets to close... the crystal turns to a sort of... gas and fills them. The results speak for themselves." She says.
"What results?" Trixie asked.
"Oh, right... I didn't tell anyone yet..." She stands up and places the shard in a glass box, she then motions for Trixie to follow.
They exit out the back of the tent and walk to a poorly made gate, inside was several identical rabbits, snarling and attacking one another. Trixie gasps at the sight, several of them soon fall to the ground, limbs severed, only for new ones to grow in their place as they get back up to fight again.
"What's wrong with them?" Trixie asks.
"There was only one when we captured it, every time something falls off, it grows new parts, even the parts that fall off grow the rest of the body, they keep returning, endlessly..." Starlight sighs, and turns away.
"If Dra has this kind of power, to regrow, I'm afraid our chances to win are not good..." She says sadly.
Trixie hugs Starlight, she hold her closely, until they notice Sunwing staring at them. Sun walks over to them.
"I couldn't help but overhear... I agree it does look grim... but I heard a rumor, that Dra can't enter the crystal empire, if we can get there, we might be able to come up with a lasting plan." Sun says.
"If that's true then we need to leave at once," Starlight says, "Gather everyone up, let them know were going to lea-" She's cut off by screams of terror coming from the distance, all three of them run to the source.
Thunderlane was here with his cockatrice minions too, several ponies and buffalo statues, most of which in shattered pieces, lined their path as he grinned and chuckled madly. Sunwing, Starlight and Trixie all stand firm before Thunderlane as he approaches.
"You will not find salvation working for Dra!" Sun says to him.
"Who said anything about me working for that two-bit thug?" Thunderlane asks.
"Then why are you doing this?" Starlight asks.
"Because I'm saving you from Dra, at least this way your deaths will be painless..." He says.
"You cannot honestly believe that killing us is helping!" Sun says loudly.
"I am the hero!! You just can't see the magnitude of my gift!!" Thunderlane yells.
Sunwing will hear no more of him, he extends his wings, the dull light from the solar eclipse makes his wings shine brightly. Thunderlane shields his eyes and smirks, before the blinding light starts to burn him. Smoke trails off of his fore-leg as he arcs his wings to fly away. Sun closes his wings as he takes off, not looking back to the golden gryphon.
"What was that?!" Starlight asks, curiosity consuming her.
"A gift from the goddess herself, It is the piercing light to chase away the darkness, but it is weak without the sun's warming rays..." He says.
"Is there any way to end the eclipse?" Trixie asks.
"Only one, we must ask the aid of an Alicorn, but to my knowledge the only one's left are either far away from here, dead, or are working with Dra." Sun says.
"Then we must get to the crystal empire, It's the last hope for not only us, but all of Equestria too..." Starlight says.
The trio rally the refugees to carry as many supplies as they could, once the were fully prepared, the distant clanging of metal sounded out, Dra's army was rapidly approaching. The fighters among the refugees all drop their portions of the supplies and prepare for a fight. The army emerges from a dust cloud on the horizon, leading the march is the commanding officers, Onyx Flame, Sonic Shadow and Night Flora.
Flora raises a hoof, signaling the rest to hold their ground. She steps forward and lowers the silk veil covering her face, her muzzle is filled with razor sharp teeth, perhaps several rows. She draws close but not close enough to take any actions towards. Surprisingly she speaks to them, "Surrender, you cannot stop us!" She yells commandingly to the refugees.
Sun steps forward, "You... you have the same... feel as Dra. what are you monsters?" He asks.
"What begins, but has no end, yet ends all that begins?" Flora asks.
Sun takes a moment to think about it, but before he can think long, Starlight walks up next to him and says, "Death..."
"Hm, that's correct, we are the harbingers of death, and you all have a debt to pay to our Master." She says, "But even knowing what we are, you still wont surrender will you?"
A round a fierce battle cries sound out from the refugees, Flora smirks, at least it looks like that, as she turns around to head back to the head of the army. She covers her face again before motioning the troops to charge. They all let out their own battle cries before rushing at the unarmed refugees. Sunwing lets out a bird-like squawk before diving claws-first into the front line of the army. Their chainmail armor is no match for his massive, brutal claws. Within moments several troops have fallen to his furious assault. Flora then growls, she looks to Shadow, and motions for him to fight Sun himself. Shadow nods before taking to the sky and charging for the large gryphon. Sun is too focused on fighting to see him coming and Shadow uses one of his shark-fin like blades attached to his armor to leave a long cut on Sun's side. He squawks angrily and dives after Shadow before he can make another pass.
The refugees are faring poorly, as under equipped as they are the battle is more like a slaughter, the soldiers carve a path right to the center of the refugees where all the mares, foals and other non-combat ponies. Starlight and Trixie are the last ones to defend the line from the ruthless army. Starlight charges a spell and causes sink-holes to appear, the soldiers caught in the sinking ground yelp in surprise as they fall in. The pegasus adapt quickly though, taking to the sky to avoid falling like the others. Trixie starts up next, she drags a dark rain cloud down and forces it to shoot out like a hose, drenching the pegasus as they approach and ruining any chance of them taking to the skies for a while.
Sun's fight is no better, Shadow's armor is much stronger than the others, his every blow is deflected seamlessly by his metal armor. Shadow then steps through the shadows, appearing behind Sun, he has no time to react before he thrusts both of his shark-fin blades into his wings. He screeches loudly as he tumbles several feet to the ground, landing with a ground-rumbling thud. Shadow lands at his head prepared to finish the job, but Sun lunges forward, he strikes at his uncovered side, though the gap is small, a single claw manages to puncture his skin. He lets out an Æthereal shriek as a thick purple oozes out of the wound.
"Apparition!" Sun declares.
Shadow steps through the shadows again and reappears beside Flora. She scratches the underside of his chin, almost like one would to a pet. "Oh, did the big, bad gwiffin hurt you?" She asks him, he nods and looks to Sun, he's shambling away as best he can to regroup, some soldiers turn to give chase, but are halted with an order from the commander, "Leave him, he'll bleed out before long." Flora says.
They turn back to the remaining refugees, a mare and a foal are running away from the rest, they give chase right away. She screams in fear as one of the legionnaires tackle her to the ground, pinning her under his superior strength. Her tears roll down her face immediately, she looks to her foal, the little filly is kicking and screaming at the guard holding her down. Another one soon grabs the tiny foal and pins her down as well.
"The master demands no survivors, but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun while were at it." One of them says.
"No please, take me just leave her out of this, she's only ten!" The mother cries at them.
"That only makes her ass all the tighter." The stallion above her remarks.
She sobs as two stallions sit beneath her crying foal, they press her down together, forcing their too-big shafts to press against both her unused holes. The small filly screams and flails as they grunt, her virgin holes refuse to give way, especially since she's tightened her muscles even more.
"Beat her." The stallion holding her mother down says.
The little filly struggled under their grasp, her cries start up again after they throw her to the ground. She tries to run away, but one of her tormentors is a unicorn, she's pinned to the ground by his magical grip. One of the stallions twist one of the foal's fore-leg back behind her, yanking it at an odd angle. The small foal screams, "No! Stop it! Mommy!!" But her mother is unable to help her, even as her fore-leg is cracked out of joint. They all laugh at her suffering, she's lifted up into the air as her other fore-leg is similarly pulled out of joint. With her front-legs hanging limp they move to the backs, the foal squeals loudly as they twist both of them simultaneously. They force her legs to bend until the bone juts through her flesh. With all of her legs broken, the little foal's cries remain constant, even when they let her drop to the ground, landing atop her broken legs, they barely even change in pitch or volume.
They then turn around at kick her with their hind-legs, the blows hit every inch of her helpless form, leaving bruises and drooling blood in their wake. One particularly hard hit to the small foal's head stops her whimpers and sobs, even her twitching stops. They keep hitting her for several more minutes before they finally stop and look over her, she's not breathing.
"You idiot, you killed her!" One of them yells at the other.
"I'm not the one that hit her head!" The other yells back.
While they argue the mother shakes her head and sobs, her foal was murdered in front of her. With her will broken, the stallion holding her down brings his throbbing shaft to her pussy, she doesn't even react when he sinks inside and rolls his hips appreciatively. He looks to the other two, "Just fuck her corpse, it's not like it'll be any less tight after she died, she was still a virgin." He says to them.
They exchange a grin and move the disjointed body of the foal between them. They each press to her rear entries, while her muscles have turned slack, they still don't have an easy time fitting. Her pussy is the first to give, stretching widely to allow him to press deeper. His cock-head almost immediately slams into her cervix as he pushes harder. He grunts in frustration as he pulls back to thrust again. The other guard finally pops his flare into her soon after. He lolls his tongue and groans throatily as he sinks deeper, nearly fitting half of his cock inside the small foal's rear. They slam her body up and down along their shafts, but soon they find it's not enough.
The unicorn looks to his fellow and grins, "Let's make this more interesting." He says.
With that his horn lights, the light starts a soft blue glow, but soon turns darker, becoming instead a black, bubbling shadow on the tip of his horn. The shadowy, bubbly magic shoots to the foal's corpse, it soon starts to spin around her as the magic takes hold. Once the magic has spiraled around her entire body it all seeps into her fur and skin. The foal jerks suddenly after a moment, her eyes open again, their faded and dull but she looks around, indicating she could still see to some degree.
The soldiers grin and start to thrust harder into the zombie-doll, she groans like would be expected of an undead, but also rolls her hips back over them. They don't try to make sense of her moans and instead plunge upwards, watching in delight as her holes slowly start to churn and wring at them. Her belly bulges, displaying the vaguely cylindrical shape of cock through her skin.
The mother continues to sob and stare at what was once her foal, but her grief is interrupted when the stallion casually raping her bites her mane and yanks her forward, pulling her so that his swollen shaft fills her view. She lays forward, the furred underside of his belly gently brushes over her head as he steps over her to get into position. She scarcely has time to look away before his tip spears past her lips, groaning all the while.
"Oooohhh... your throat is sooo good..."
He pants and shoves his thickening length further into the warmth and wetness of her throat, her hind legs quiver as she suffers from minor arousal as she rolls her tongue over him while he roughly plunges forward. Her gag reflex is completely overwhelmed by his frantic thrusts, she has no time to recover or even take a breath of fresh air as he works himself into a frenzy.
"Fuuuck, your throat is way better than your cunt!" He yells.
He moans desperately and quivers as his balls slap against her chin.
He lowers to the ground as he starts to pant harder, he thrusts all the more fiercely. He screams his pleasure to the skies as her eyes start to roll back from lack of air.
"Oh! Oh, fuck!" He shouts.
His orgasm arrives on the heels of his wild screams, the first real stream of seemingly never-ending spunk swells her belly directly when he hilts himself balls-deep in her throat. The moment the stream begins to slow he pulls back out, only to ram it back home with a low, wordless groan of pleasure as he drains his plump balls into her, each thrust bringing with it a renewed spray of jism straight down her willing throat, her neck bulges while she submissively sucks load after hot load down its length. By the time he’s done she's a mess, although to her credit the vast majority of his cum is settling safely in her stomach instead of splattered across her face. He slowly withdraws his length from her well-used fuckhole with a light moan, his flare pulling past her lips with a wet pop as he sighs in satisfaction.
He looks to the others they too are reaching their peaks, leaving her body a whitish mess and discarding her to suffer until the spell wears off. They all look to the main battle, Starlight and Trixie are still managing to hold off wave after wave of soldiers from the refuges. Flora grows tired of the sight, she looks to Onyx and motions for him to move in.
He half grunts and growls before pawing at the ground to prepare for a charge. Once he readies he roars fiercely and charges forward, Starlight spots him and tries to hold him back with her magic, but it has no effect of him, he charges right past the magical barrier, not even breaking it as he passed through effortlessly. She gasps and motions for everyone to run for it, they all turn to run from the brute as he charges forward. Trixie and Starlight teleport to the front of the group as they all start to run across the dusty plains. The slowest of the bunch are quickly caught by the legionnaires as they give chase too. As Onyx nears the back of the group he open is maw, black flames spew forward and divide the group in half as they surge forward, the flames suddenly break apart and curve around the runners, all but Starlight and Trixie are trapped behind the rising flames. They don't even notice they had been caught until they reach the forests edge on the other side of the plains. They both look back with sorrow, they had tried to save them, but ended saving no one. They banish the thoughts as they run through the forest, they hear a loud groan nearby, against their better judgement they go to check it out, they find, leaning against a tree, Sunwing. The trees trunk and the ground around is soaked in blood from his shredded wings, he spots them and smiles weakly.
"It is good you escaped... my time is running short..." he says.
"No wait we can help you!" Trixie says.
She looks around and spots and odd looking fern. She rips two of it's leaves out of the ground and brings them to his wings. Each one is wrapped tightly, enough so that his bleeding was slowed down, but still a small trickle oozed down his back.
"It won't hold long we need to get help." Starlight says.
"We need to head north, we won't be safe anywhere else." Sun says.
They help him to stand again, a feat given his size and they stumble through the woods, heading to the crystal empire.
