Reddragon

Morning has hit ponyville, Celestia's sun was slowly rising in the sky, casting its warm glow soft light over the peaceful town. Inside the castle in the middle of town princess Twilight was slowly stirring from her slumber. She looked a mess. Her mane was all over the place, she had dark black marks under her eyes, and she very wobbly but carefully got out of her bed. She trotted towards her mirror on her night stand. When she got there she inspected herself and gave out a soft sigh. "What was those loud explosion sounds last night?" she quietly said to herself.

She finished brushing her mane and applying some makeup to cover her sleep marks around her eyes, then she walked over to her bedroom window to gaze over at the everfree forest. "I got to find out what that strange light was last night, and i bet it was linked to those explosiones i heard last night too, plus i bet i was not the only one who heard last night's commotion" Twilight spoke to herself.

She trotted out of her room down the castle hall towards her little dragon's room. She stopped outside his door and began to raise a hoof towards the door to push it open. She poked her head inside the room to see a bunch of comics scattered all over the place and some of his special gem collection all over the floof. Twilight gasped at this and she opened the door fully to enter the messy room. When she did she heard soft whimpering and small crying, this shocked Twilight and she looked towards the bed to see a shivering lump underneath the bed cover's. Twilight wore a look of worry and sadness as she saw this and she trotted over towards the bed and she slowly moved the cover off the lump to reveal her little dragon lying in a fetal position crying softly and shaking a little.

Twilight's heart broke at this site. She knew Spike would've been terrified at what happened last night, after all it scared her too. She slowly sat on her haunches and raised her front hooves towards the bed and underneath Spike's small form. She lifted him very gently and brought him to her chest where she cradled him. Spike's shaking instantly stopped along with his crying and he opened his eyes to see the caring eyes of his caretaker looking down at him with a gentle smile on her face.

"Tw-Twilight!" Spike managed to say in a shaky voice.

"It's alright Spike, it's over" Twilight said gently.

"I was scared!, i had no idea what was happening, i thought we were being attacked by something."

"It's going to be ok Spike, me and the others are going to look into last night's event, so don't worry, whatever it was, you can expect it wont go without a royale lecture!" Twilight said.

"You girls gotta be careful." Spike said as he wrapped his arms around twilight's neck for a gentle hug.

Twilight smiled warmly and she bent down and started nuzzling his cheek.

"Of course we will spike. now you go and get yourself something to eat and check on starlight for me" She finished as she let Spike go.

"Of course Twilight" Spike gave her a quick salute and jogged out of his room down the hall towards the kitchen.

Twilight looked over at Spike one last time, and thought about last night's event again.(What could've caused those explosions and why! i mean what if spike is right and it is someone or something attacking us or was about to.) Twilight shook her head and focused at the task at hand. (First i need to go to Fluttershy, she lives closest to the forest and most likely heard the explosions last night too!. Then i can round up the other girls in the main room of my castle and decide what their move should be.!) With a plan already set Twilight teleported out of Spike's room and headed towards her friend's cottage.

                                                                                                              (Meanwhile)

Outside the giant crystal castle stood Castro who was gazing up at the shiny crystal building with a confused look on his face. " Why a castle made of crystal is a thing here i don't know, but if i want any leads i might as well talk to someone important". And with that said he walked towards the castle door and gave it a rough knock. A few moments later Spike who heard the knock decided to go towards the door to answer it. (Who could that be this early) the young drake thought. He got to the door and pushed it open. What he saw standing outside almost gave him a heart attack and it also made him scream.

"OH YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!"
