Cadance's Love Dungeon

Princess Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Fluttershy, Applejack, and Spike had gone through so many trials and tribulations, and through their friendship, they’ve managed to overcome any obstacle that stood in their way, no matter how bleak or hopeless the situation seemed.

Princess Celestia decided that they didn’t get rewarded enough. She teleported over to the Crystal Empire, requesting a private meeting with Princess Cadance and Shining Armor.

“Are you sure this will work, Celestia?” Cadance asked, trying to work the plan through in her head.

Celestia nodded. “I’m positive. Twilight and her friends deserve this. Go through them one at a time. Make sure to get personal, and help them really relax. I know that you and Shining Armor can handle it.”

Shining and Cadance looked at each other, then back to Celestia and nodded, her words filling them with confidence. “Thank you, Celestia. We won’t let you down!” He said.

She smiled warmly in return. “Good, I’ll leave you two alone to have time to prepare. I’ll send Twilight and her friends over in a few days, I’ll let you know when they’re coming. And if you need any help, I’m sure my sister and I will happily assist.” With that, Celestia departed, teleporting herself back to her castle. As she passed by some of the royal guards, she winked, then nodded her head twice. It was time for some relaxation of her own.

A few days later, Twilight and her friends had arrived at the train station at the Crystal Empire.

“I wonder why Cadance and Shining Armor wanted us to come over here.” Rainbow Dash said aloud while exiting the train.

“I’m not entirely sure,” Twilight replied, rereading the letter she was sent to check for any more details. “They only said the reason was very important, and they would explain more when we met them at their castle.”

“I hope that nothing’s wrong…” Fluttershy said quietly, making a little frown as she looked around for signs of trouble.

“Nah, I’m sure everything’s fine!” Spike scoffed, placing his hands on his hips as he admired the statue made in his honor. Although years had changed his body, it hadn’t changed his spirit or attitude.

“Still, it has to be pretty important if they needed all of us to come.” Dash said, rolling her eyes and smirking at Spike.

Applejack put her hand to her chin as she thought about the possible reasons. “Maybe they need our help organizing another event for the crystal ponies?”

“Ooh, like a party? Good thing I came prepared!” Pinkie grinned, pulling out a set of party poppers out of nowhere and setting them off, spraying confetti and streamers all over the group.

“Wouldn’t they just tell us that if that was the case?” Rarity countered, her voice taking on a more annoyed tone as she picked confetti out of her mane with magic. Applejack shrugged in response.

“Well, we’ll never figure out until we get there, come on!” Spike yelled out, already a few feet in front of the ponies, who picked up the pace and sprinted towards the castle.

At the castle, the group of seven finally meet with the royal couple sitting on their thrones.

“Twilight!” Cadance exclaimed, rushing off her seat to perform the customary greeting dance with her sister-in-law. “Sunshine, sunshine, ladybugs awake…”

“So, uh...why exactly are we here?” Rainbow Dash said, walking forward towards Shining Armor.

“Glad you asked!” Shining grinned, waiting for Cadance to return to his side.

“So we’re going to get to go on vacation? To the beach? Or the Emerald Islands?” Spike interjected, sparkles in his eyes.

“Er, not exactly…”

“Aw, come on!” the dragon groaned, crossing his arms.

There was confused murmuring among the group, each of them wondering what exactly she meant.
