Chapter Two: Meeting Fate
PhoenixStorm had been exploring the dragon lands hoping to find a clue to finding the answers to his many questions, he had no idea why he felt that he'd find anything in such a place but he was determined to see it through. Along the way he heard a voice call out, "LOOK OUT!" He looked up just in time to see a dragon closing in fast, but she wasn't attacking though, she was about to crash right into him. He managed to jump out of the way just in time, PhoenixStorm looked on at the now passed out dragon in concern. He spent hours taking care of the teenage dragon until she finally awoke, "are you ok?" He asked. The dragon was surprised by the concerned pony with a horn yet had wings made of fire, she finally responded, "y yes, I'm fine." He smiled warmly at her showing he was relieved to hear that, "my name is PhoenixStorm by the way." The dragon paused for a moment before speaking once more, "my name is Fate, Fate Charcoal, and thank you for helping me." PhoenixStorm helped Fate to get up on her feet but he didn't use magic to do it, he had pulled her up by flying upward while using his hooves to hold on to her claws. Fate was confused by this and asked, "why didn't you just use magic to do that?" He replied with, "the only magic I can use are healing magic, I can heal wounds and even make antidotes, but I'm afraid lifting spells are out of my realm of knowledge." Fate was surprised by this but decided not to question it, instead she just smiled and said, "interesting, to be honest I've never met a pony like you before, let alone any pony, I was told that ponies were weak and didn't care about us dragons, but I see not everything I was told wasn't 100 percent right." Fate hugged PhoenixStorm showing she was grateful for what he'd done for her. At first PhoenixStorm was surprised by the hug, because before now he had only heard of hugs but had never experienced one, the hug had made him feel a warmth in his heart that he'd never felt before.

Chapter Three: An Unlikely Friendship
Chapter Three: An Unlikely Friendship
From that moment onward, PhoenixStorm and Fate Charcoal had become best friends. It was unheard of for a pony and a dragon to be in the same area without one trying to hurt the other, let alone be friends. Fate was one of the few open minded dragons so far, guess you can say she was a noble one, at least compared to most other dragons out there. PhoenixStorm on the other hand had no knowledge of what ponies thought of dragons, Fate was the first dragon he had ever seen before let alone met. As time went on, Fate and PhoenixStorm's bond had only gotten stronger, they both were able to learn about each other's kind better then anyone else could have, at least for now anyway. Every now and then PhoenixStorm would try to befriend some of the other dragons, but no matter how hard he tried, he would fail miserably. This would often leave him in a depressed and rejected state for awhile, luckily Fate was always there to cheer him up, or at least give him someone to confide in. This only added to how much of a good friend she was, Fate was and always will be there for PhoenixStorm just like he would always be there for her. He refused to give up on trying to befriend some of the other dragons, he was determined to find a way, but how?

Chapter One: The Birth Of The Phoenixcorn
I know what you're thinking, what the hell is a Phoenixcorn? Well, sit back and let me tell you the story of PhoenixStorm the Phoenixcorn. In the far outskirts of Equestria, back when King Sombra was still in power in the Crystal Empire. A lone Unicorn by the name of Embonia Flames had managed to escape the Crystal Empire but had been badly wounded in the process. She was holding for dear life to what little strength she had left, she was also pregnant with a little colt. She had escaped the Crystal Empire so her child could live a happy life, however her life force was almost completely gone. Embonia Flames didn't want to let her unborn colt die with her and she shouted to the spirits, begging them to saves her child. As if by fate, her cries were answered as a giant Phoenix, the King Phoenix, appeared in a burst of magical blue flames. In a powerful voice the King Phoenix spoke, "you, your love for your unborn colt is like nothing I've ever witnessed, not just anyone can summon me here." Embonia Flames didn't know what to make of this, but all she cared about was giving her baby the life she couldn't have, a free life, free from King Sombra's horrific rule. The King Phoenix spoke once again, "for your bravery and determination to save the one most important to you, I'll grant you one wish, what will it be?" Embonia Flames didn't even hesitate, she knew what she wanted, and was willing to die for it. She knew what she had to do and spoke to the King Phoenix, "for my baby, to live." The King Phoenix didn't hesitate either and said, "very well, but you'll vanish from this world, are you sure about this?" Embonia Flames replied, "yes, I'm as good as dead anyway, I want my last moments to mean something, and making sure my baby lives is the way to do it." The King Phoenix replies with, "as you wish." With that the King Phoenix's eyes glowed a bluish red colour as blue and purple flames surrounded Embonia Flames, and within five minutes a little colt was born. His fur was blue and his spiky mane was the colour of fire and was even in the shape of a flame. There was something odd about him though, he had wings but not normal wings, his wings were made of fire. Embonia Flames felt herself fading away and had one last thing to say before she was completely gone, "I love you, PhoenixStorm"
Years later, the little colt had grown into a young stallion, however he had to grow up alone, he had no idea what friends were or even what other ponies looked like. That's right, PhoenixStorm was the Equestria equivalent of Tarzan, except unlike Tarzan, he had to raise himself. He had no one to teach him right from wrong, he had to learn that the hard way. PhoenixStorm didn't know what he was, why he was, or how he was, all he knew was his name. He wanted to know all this and more, but little did he know, his life was going to change forever.
