The 10 Year Equestrian war
Prologue

The day was July 1st, 2016, today was no normal day because today was very.....quiet. Ponies inside Ponyville were not doing what they were normally doing, but the Mane 6 were the only ones doing their jobs....OK Princess Twilight doesn't really have a job....well technically she does...anyways.....oh wait it's 4:00 am (not in real life). The Mane 6 were doing their jobs around this time because they all had plans today for a little private party for them being friends, but they couldn't wait for it, but they know they had to wait....and when it was time they would be very happy.
8:00 am, it was time for the Mane 6 to have their private party, but they were missing someone....you were sitting on your couch watching Hoof-ball, the two teams were The Canter-lot Wondercolts and The Ever-free Shadowbolts. You are a huge fan of the Wondercolts, and they were winning, 35-24, and it was in the 4th quarter with about, 3:00 left and you knew Wondercolts were going to win the game, then you heard a knock on your door. At the door was Rainbow Dash, and by the looks of it she was very tired, and excited at the same time, but you were really worried for her.
"Hey Rainbow Dash, are you ok?" You say in a worried voice
"Yeah, i'm more than ok, i'm 20 percent cooler than ok" Rainbow says in a enthusiastic voice
"um...isn't that worse?" You ask
"um...I don-anyways we wanted to invite you to a private party" Rainbow said
"Sure i'll come" You said with a smile
With that Rainbow and you were off to the party only, that you both were several minutes late, but it will be a few more minutes till you both get there. You both decide to have a friendly race against each other. At first you were losing, but as time went on you are now tied up with Rainbow, now you are in the lead, but not that far, most likely a few inches because all you needed to do it make it to the party that was straight ahead. You both are at the party and Rainbow and you had tied in the race. But you both were yelled at for being late, but you both didn't care.
During the party, Twilight was approaching you and all you did was look away, and pretend she was not there, but she was staring you in the eyes and you did the same but she kept poking you to get your attention, until she screamed your name.
"Y/N!...Y/N!" Twilight screamed
"huh!....what" You say coming back to Equestria
"There you are Y/N" Twilight giggled
"oh..yeah" You say embarrassed
"wanna dance?" Twilight asked
"s-sure" you say smiling
You and the Mane 6 are dancing at the party with one pony even bothering you, but it's only 12:00 pm and every pony is walking around and at their jobs and the little fillies are at school. 10 minutes later you and the Mane 6 were worn out and finally Spike walked in after cleaning for hours.
"Spike where have you been?" You asked
"cleaning the castle for 4 hours!" Spike says while yawning
"oh..sorry" You say
"that's fine" Spike says falling to the ground sleeping
You and the Mane 6 just laugh and start to pick up the party and clean. While every pony was cleaning Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, Flutters, and Rarity over heard you and Rainbow talking about hoof ball and the wonder bolts. All they could do is laugh at the both of you and you saw them looking at you guys and you and rainbow blushed in embarrassment. You and Rainbow just laugh, while the rest of your friends are laughing. After you all are done cleaning up, you all start heading home for the day, but you and rainbow go home together to talk more about the wonder bolts, and well hang out, but the Mane 6 just smile and head home.
"so, Rainbow who is your favorite Wonder bolt?" You ask curious
"It's obviously Sp-" Rainbow dash is cut off by you
"Spitfire?" You say looking at Rainbow while she has her mouth wide open
"how did you know that?!" Rainbow asks very surprised
"I know lots about you" You say smiling
"oh yeah name 3 things about me" Rainbow says
"Your in the Wonder bolts, your favorite color is Magenta and you adorable" you say smiling
"Sh-shut up and that's two things about me" Rainbow says blushing and hiding her face
All you can do is giggle while her face looks like a tomato, and she starts to get ready to fly out of your home, but you stop her and hug her and smile and look into her eyes. Rainbow smiles and hugs you more, you both then look at each other in the eyes and are interrupted by Pinkie, and she tells you about a party she having next week. After Pinkie is gone, you invite Rainbow to dinner and you are very excited she says yes. You smile at her and she leaves for her home. All you can think about is that date......
A few hours later the Mane 6 come crashing through your door and they scream at you that there is the royal guard calling your name and calling Rainbow's name. you and Rainbow bolt to the guard and they give you Armour.
"Y/N and Rainbow Dash?" One of the guards say
"Yes?" You and Rainbow say in unison
"you both will be in the Royal Guard for the Changeling war"
Your friends all gasp and you and Rainbow look at each other. The rest of your friends were told they will be in safety zones, for the time being. Princess Twilight will be the leader of your squad in the war, You were put as a sergeant, and Rainbow the same. You both were were not ready for what was to come, but it was what you had to do for Equestria.
