~Magic Over Friendship~
~An Alternate Story/Timeline~
Before my eye’s I saw another girl, by the name of sunset shimmer, transform by the same magic I’ve captured and controlled by the same device I had made. She transformed into that a bright daydream, quite opposite of my dark enchanting raven like appearance. When her transformation is complete, she looks at me says.
“That magic… of Friendship.” ‘Pfft, please, Friendship can’t be that strong’ I heard a voice say in my head. ,In fact, her transformation isn’t that of friendship at all! she just absorbing magic that same way that I did, to make herself stronger,. Lies, just lies, everyone are just liars. It’s only been a couple of minutes, and I have mastered and fully understand the TRUE meaning of magic. Far more and BETTER than my so called ‘teammates’ have seen. Suddenly, the girl uses the magic to close up the rifts I made. NO! SHE CAN’T DO THAT! I need those rifts, I need to see and go to that world of MAGIC! I… I want more of it! Grunting, I fling towards the girl with magic in my hand. She then flings towards me and we both collide with our magic. As I fly backwards, I put my hands together to form a magical beam and aim it at the other girl. She does the same and the beams collide with each other. For a second her magic over does mine. But with another push, mine starts to do the same. Ha! I start to laugh as my magic clearly is overpowering her.
“Twilight!” I quickly looked down to spike, my dog that was able to talk thanks to the magic I gathered. I see him staring at me with his big eye’s.
“Spike…?” I can feel my old self reaching out, with all of the memories of him. S-spike….. my dog… and my only friend… I then suddenly see that the girls magic is overpowering mine. As her beam gets closer, and closer I can feel time slowing down. There is a sudden conflict in my head. One is saying, ‘This isn’t right! This is your home world! are you really going to destroy the only place, where you and spike live?’ and another is saying, ‘NO! you can’t waste this opportunity! You have MAGIC now! You can finally have everything you ever wanted!’ ‘but what about the others? Your classmates, this school! You’ll destroy what THEY love in this world!’ the other talked back. “So?! They don’t care about! NONE OF THEM DO! NONE OF THEM UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU FEEL! They all have USED you! You have a chance to finally be FREE!’ I…..I…..
“Ha….. ha…. you think you can stop ME?!” With a full blast, my magic pushes forward consumes the other girl. I can hear her screaming. She then falls as her wings of light begin to fade. I smirk as everyone looks on at horror of the chance of their last hope has died. Every. Single. One of them. Just before she falls through the huge cracked rift in the ground, I grab her with my magic. She looks at me with pure horror written on her face.
“N-no…….T-Twilight, please…. T-This isn’t you….. There’s a-another way….. friendship…” She stumbles. Hilarious she still holds onto HOPE!
“Friendship! HA! what a joke! Friendship is just a meaningless way to move up in the world!” I turned to glare at my so called teammate that had pushed me so much. I then look back at the girl. “There is NO magic in it at all! But Magic can to things to it and everything else! Magic can change and shape it into what I WANT! Just look at my dog! He can TALK now! and we are closer than ever thanks to it!” I yelled then then turned to look at spike. Spike looked at me with a scared face and I… looked backed up at the girl.
“Well….. we are going to anyway! With my powers I will make EVERYONE love me! As I study and gather ALL of the magic, NO ONE will ever try push me and use me ever again! I am free now FROM THEM.” I stop to glare at my ‘fellow’ shadowbolts again, then look back at the girl.
“And my NAME is no longer twilight sparkle. THAT was the old me, my new name shall be who I truly am! My new name is Midnight Sparkle! Now watch as this magicless world crumbles into the next one. but before that…” My magic surrounds the other girl. Then like, little needles, they plunge into her magic and drain it all.
“AHH!!” I hear her scream. I felt myself getting even more powerful. She soon turns back into that magicless form of herself. I then grab the device of what I created. It’s funny how all of this started with THIS. My own creation, was about to be crushed in my own hands I chuckle. Even when the girl slammed it into the ground it did not break. But it will now.
*CRACK!*
I smile as it breaks in my hands. The other girl looks at me with horror. I chuckle
“And that….. Was to make sure, that no one’s else thinks the same as you did. Goodbye, I’ll see you in the next world….” I let go of her with my magic. I watch as her body falls through the rift. I laugh then blast the rift to open it up even more. I hear people yell and scream as they fall through as well. I blast more beams of this world, and I soon see people all across town sinking into the other world. I think it’s time to FINALLY see this other world. With a flap of my dark wings I fly into the rift. As I cross through I can feel my appearance changing. My hands were… changing into hooves? I looked to see that I have hooves, back hooves, and an actual pony tail. Intriguing, I must say. Once fully crossed over to the other world, I use my magic to create a mirror. My, My, It’s that I am pony! But a very powerful and enchanting one! I chuckle. I then look to see a village below me. And it’s just filled with ponies! HA! Perfect! I see some ponies looking at the sky with shock and terror as other ‘ponies’ fall from it . I see ponies that were once human, run with pure fright. I see unicorns, pegasi, all kinds of ponies! I then feel it. I sense magic coming from the ponies. Not JUST the unicorns! I feel myself just CRAVING it! Ha ha ha!! Oh all the fun I’ll have learning and drain from the world! I fly down towards the ponies that have gathered in a crowed. I see horror, shocked but mostly confused faces on the little ponies. I chuckle.
“Greeting, I am Midnight Sparkle, and from now on, I'm in charge!” Ha Ha Ha Ha HAAAHAAA!!!
“Now show me your magic!” I smirk. After all, I am Midnight sparkle, and I plan to unleashing ALL of the magic.
