Twilight and her friends are living happily in Ponyville, fixing friendship problems and spreading the magic of friendship throughout Equestria. Everything is as it should be, until the princesses ask Twilight to visit them. They tell her that there is a great evil that has been lurking since the beginning of time, and that she and her friends can stop it. Now, Twilight must surpass her limits to become a being greater than Celestia and Luna, and stop the great evil that threatens to destroy everything she loves.
