Scootaloo Versus the Accident
The lights turned on. Apple Jack stood there, staring at the duo. Apple Bloom hanging out the window and Scootaloo crouched next to it holding a flashlight.
“Scootaloo, what are you doin?”
“Uh ... escaping”
“From your own birthday party, with a toy handgun?”
“Erm, yeah”
Apple Bloom screamed as she fell out of the window into a stack of hey.
“Look, Scootaloo, if you are thinkin bout yer parents again ... when you parents passed, they asked me to look out for you. We had no control over it. Okay? Were just trying to help”
“I ... I understand Apple Jack.”
“And sometimes, you know, you may not fit in with the other kids. But thats ok ... okay?”
Scootaloo began to tear up.
“Hey, it’s okay. You have a home here.”
Applejack smiled and looked up at her. Scootaloo smiled and hugged her.
“Now come on! Lets go to your birthday!”
“Hey Apple Jack, what happened to my parents?”
“They passed from a disease”
8 Years Ago
A mare and a stallion sat in a shadowy corner of the room. The mare was frantically typing on a laptop and the stallion was levitating a pistol at the door.
“Quick honey, Princess Celestia wants this program by the end of this week.”
A loud gunshot played throughout there ears.
“Working on it honey!”
The stallion shot 7 rounds into the door.
“Done!”
The mare attached the newly found program to an e-mail and shot it Princess Celestia. She then clicked the compose button and crudely typed an e-mail to the address Apple.Jack@equestria.com.eq.
Dear Apple Jack.
Hello old friend. Are you aware of our recent filly, Scootaloo? Of course you are.
The thing is ... me and Water Wing are in a little bit of a predicament. We have been suffering a horrendous illness. We are slowly dying. And we are about to pass. The disease in incurable. Could you please look out for her. I know it will be hard and ... please. Just look out for her.

Night Flight and Water Wing dropped to the ground. Her hoof fell on the enter button.
The sound of the paper plane came.
Self Destruct initiated. 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1.

The computer fizzled.
The pony who shot the mare and the stallion approached the computer.
“Damn”
He sorted through the blood all over the broken computer. Whatever was in the hard drive was definitely gone.
Present
It was time. After 8 years of planning, it was finally time. Celestia sat at her computer. She opened up a new e-mail to Twilight.Sparkle@equestria.com.eq.
Open the file.

Sweetie Belle woke Twilight from her deep slumber.
“Twilight!”
“Hmm, what?”
She rolled over in her bed.
“You just got an e-mail from princess Celestia!”
Twilight shot up.
“Sweetie ... remember your training ... this could be it!”
“Your not talking about the ... the ... Intersect are you?”
“I am”
Twilight and Sweetie each gave a huge smile. Little did they know that someone was quite close. Watching.

“You ready Sweetie?”
“Sure am”

BANG!
A bullet met the back of Twilights head. Sweetie gasped as blood splattered the computer screen. She took immediate action and grabbed the hard drive plugged into the computer.
She sprinted off down through the hallway to the door. Levitating the hard drive behind her. Who ever was back there wasn’t there anymore. She needed to pass it on. Sweetie levitated her smartphone to the hard drive and plugged it in. She cycled through her contacts. Hundreds and hundreds of names flipped pass. Another shot was fired behind her.
In a flurried panic she chose a name without looking and reached into sliding compartment on the back of her phone.
Suicide pill.
She swallowed it with one gulp as she touched send. The phone then talked.
Back Panel Opened! Self Destruct Initiated!

“Scootaloo!”
“Yes Apple Jack?”
“You, erm, got an e-mail from Twilights assistant”
“Oh ... her?”
Apple Jack nodded.
“Well, I better go and have a look”
Scootaloo approached the computer. She moved the pointer to the e-mail application and clicked. Thats when it all started. Images flashed past at the speed of light, each one embedding little messages, tiny little secrets into her mind. They went on for hours, as one flashed past another would shockingly open up in front of her. Each one more shocking and revealing than the last. Celestia's secret arms trading. Luna's secret drug addiction. Scootaloo stared at the images entranced by the colour and secret messages hidden within each one. It was madness.
Before she knew it, it was 8 a.m
Scootaloo fell backwards groaning.

Apple Bloom paused for a second. She looked around holding the handgun. Her black suit glistened in the moonlight, her eyes sparkled with determination. She looked Scootaloo in the eye before speaking again.
“Thats her, we’ve been compromised!”
She began to jump out the window of the barn.
“No, Apple Bloom, you can’t leave me like this!”
