Pulsar Ascension: Resurgence
Day 0: Twenty Years Later
A pegasus mare colored a light bluish green, rainbow mane, and a dual colored tail of red and blonde, a grey wings laid the flowers held in her wings and laid them on the dual tombstone of two ponies. With the writing saying:

MOTHER
HEROES OF UNITED EQUUS
“Dad… Mom…” A twenty year old Sky Dawn said as tears rolled down her eyes. It’s been twenty years since the death of her parents. She was only a foal then and she remembers her mother, Nelly, handed her over to a pony on a rescue chopper at the hospital she was born in. However the Pulsar Militia began a second invasion on that day and destroyed the hospital. Her father watching her mother falling to her death along with the building. She only knew Jump Jet for a couple of days when a mission went wrong and he was killed in action. Sky had to live with Grand Mare Rainbow Dash her entire life, before joining the United Equus Space Defense, and in two years of being a pilot. She is welcomed into the recently reinstated Joint Strike Force, formally the Next Generation Joint Task Force.
“Mind if I join you Captain?” came the voice of a purple pegasus stallion with red wings, green eyes, a dual colored mane of blue and orange, and a yellow tail.
“Sure General!” Sky salutes her commanding officer, Light Spectrum, with her wing.
“At ease Captain…” Light said saluting her back.
“What brings you here?” Sky asked.
“Well obviously I am here to pay my respects to the heroes of old that defended United Equus, and lost their lives because of it.”
Sky always thought there was something strange to General Light Spectrum. He claims he fought in the second Pulsar invasion, also called the Battle for Equus, however he should be showing signs of age like General Rainbow Dash. Yet he still looks like he does back then. Like he hasn’t aged a day in his life. He salutes the graves of her parents and says a prayer that seems so foreign to her. He prays to an unknown deity that she has never heard of before. Once he says his prayer he nods a farewell and leaves.
Cherry Bomb, a red unicorn mare with a yellow mane and tail, is the youngest of two children to Circus Blossom and Sugar Rush. Lays on her couch in her home in Ponyville. A demolition expert like her mother, Cherry Bomb is no stranger to Explosive Ordnance Disposal. She has of late had to disarm several bombs planted by terrorists from the former territories of the United Pokemorph Federation, a government that disbanded along with the Earth Union Federation. She is also an assistant to Princess Twilight Sparkle on the side, doing research on furthering the technology of United Equus. Thanks to Cherry, the UE can now use arcane magic instead of bullets. Though bullets are still used.
Her phone rings and she picks it up with her magic and looks at the caller ID. Seeing who it is, she sighs and rolls her eyes.
“Hello Grandma…” Cherry said.
“Hi Blaze! How have you been doing?” Ink Rose said on the other end.
“I’m good Grandma.” Cherry didn’t want to talk to her grandmother. Not that she hated her, but she just loves the peace and quiet during her days off. Her grandparents had to practically raise both Cherry Bomb and her brother Wildfire. While Sugar Rush was taking care of their mentally ill mother, Circus Blossom, who was committed to a mental hospital after a severe case of PTSD from the second invasion of the Pulsar. The two continued their conversation as the residents of Ponyville settle down for the night.
Mystic Wind sat alone in the Everfree Forest. A dark brown alicorn with purple mane and tail, with a white stripe in the middle, and a magic tornado as her cutie mark. Mystic Wind is daughter of Prince Iron Cross and Princess Magic Tricks. Early in life the young alicorn princess took an interest in studying the ways of shamanism from her mentor, a zebra named Zecora.
Sitting in meditation in front of a lake filled with magical energy, Mystic focuses on trying to gain a vision from her ancestors. A vision that she receives that is a nightmare of what is to come. Images flash in her mind of what is to happen, and it seems to be a terrible fate for all of ponykind. This causes her to snap out of her meditation and gasp as she opens her eyes, revealing her purple eyes that she got from her mother. The vision does not bode well for Mystic Wind. She had to some pony and fast. She spread her wings and flew back to her mentor’s hut.
Zecora has been alive for over forty years. She is old and dying. The elder zebra shaman managed to teach Mystic Wind everything she knew. Now she has some pony to teach a new generation of ponies to be shaman, one of the oldest professions in the world.
Zecora is about to lay down for the night, tired from the final lessons she gave Mystic Wind earlier. When Mystic Wind burst into the hut, panting from her frantic flying and breathing heavily.
“Mistress! I have had a vision! It’s not good either!” Mystic Wind exclaimed.
“What are you doing child!? Asleep I was about to be!” Zecora said. “But I’m intrigued by the spirit vision you had. It means you’re an official shaman.”
Deep in space a fleet of ships float. These ships are numerous in number. Almost like an entire civilization has abandoned their home world(s). What is even more shocking is that all of these ships of this floatilla are Pokemorphs. Who have since mysteriously disbanded their UPF government. In the HUGE mothership, sits the current ruler, a male purrloin Pokemorph in a white business suit. A litten pokemorph walks into this purrloins office and hands him a data stick, which the purrloin plugs into his respective data pad to read.
“Are you sure?” the purrloin said.
“Yes Mr. President… We’ve spent years trying to build her, but finally our efforts have paid off. The Goddess will be born and ascend on schedule. If you like to see for yourself.”
“I shall…”
The purrloin was escorted to the center of the mothership, which contains it’s own ship to detach. Inside this smaller ship is a large laboratory. The litten entered first to announce the President’s arrival.
“ATTENTION ON DECK!” he screams out and all of the soldiers guarding the laboratory ship stand in two lines at attention. “President Burry is paying us a visit!”
President of the Pulsar Militia, Damien Burry, enters the observatory and in between the two lines of pokemorph soldiers. He finally looks down at the lab below and smiles at what he sees. Which causes him to start laughing, which becomes maniacal laughter. “Revenge shall be ours!”
