Starlight Twilight and Anons redemption

You're back in the cabin with Twilight.

It's pretty dark, but you feel warm underneath the blankets.

"I know I've said this so many times but.."

She grabs you hugging you tightly.

"I missed being with you so much. And now that you're here, everything feels complete again."

"Yeah.. I was just remembering all the times we had together. How much we desperately wanted to be together all the time."

"Yeah, I remember. You know, In Equestria ponies always came to me with their problems. I mean, it was nice, and I liked helping them. But it seemed like more drama just kept piling up. Not to mention stopping Equestrias villains from taking over everything and starting a whole new world order."

"Oh yeah, you guys have those over there."

"Ugh, they're so annoying. Always new world order this, and I'm going to takeover everything that."

"So, Starlight was at one point one of those villains right?"

She's quiet for a moment.

"Starlight.. Had a tough childhood. She took me back in time and showed me how her and Sunburst were separated because of their cutie marks."

"I heard a bit of that on her end. Said she wasn't able to make any friends after that. Sounds horrible, could you imagine a life without any friends?"

"I couldn't.. Even with friends life was challenging. I can't imagine ever doing it on my own."

On her own..

"I-i mean, at least she has Sunburst right?"

"It's hard to say, I thought they would hit it off right away.. But it seems like things are a bit slow between them somehow."

"I think it's my fault.. Without me Starlight wouldn't have been so distracted."

"You can't blame yourself Anon."

"But she's all alone because I couldn't give her the love she deserves.."

Twilights hands grip you.

"Anon please.."

"No matter what I do.. I always seem to hurt the people I care about."

"You have me Anon.. Yes you hurt me, but I think you've always been a good person deep down."

"Do you really believe that?"

"Would I really be laying here next to you if I didn't? You have such a kind heart, and I've always loved that about you."

"Heh, you always manage to see the good in me. Even when.. I can't seem to find the good myself."

Twilight looks into your eyes.

"Please don't say that. You're always so hard on yourself. I can't stand it."

"I'm sorry.."

She sighs.

She kisses you.

"Be nicer to yourself, for me ok?"

"Alright."

"Goodnight Anon."
