Starlight Twilight and Anons redemption

The day goes on.

You and her, held securely in each others arms.

A whisper of conversation here and there.

But really neither of you have left the embrace of one another.

It seems that Starlight had been longing for someone to hold in her arms.

From what you can gather she's led a pretty lonely life.

Even lonelier than you strangely enough.

But you're happy you're able to give her that special company she deserves.

Two of a kind, both screw ups in your own rights.

Your mistakes seem to have brought you together as if by fate.

Fingers interlaced with hers as the sun shines warmly upon her skin and yours.

Body leaned up against yours.

Your other arm wrapped around her shoulder.

Sometimes you touch or play with her hair.

Sometimes she feels your shoulders or touches your face.

These special little things reserved only for lovers..

Truly not since Twilight have you been so comfortable in a woman's arms.

Not that you didn't try.

A somber thought occurs to you.

How Twilight has been coping without you.

You scarcely wish to ponder such darkness in the wake of this light.

Thoughts like these you wish to save for a later date.

Even if it's just for a moment, you are grateful for this break in your solitude.

Though you're hoping you won't end up messing this up somehow.

Starlight drags her duffelbag out the door.

Pinkie and Applejack have come to see her back to the hotel.

Where did the time go?

However long it was, it wasn't enough.

She waves goodbye with that hint of sadness in her eye forcing a smile..

You don't want to seem desperate so you wave goodbye putting on your pokerface as she leaves.

She walks down the street, you watch her till she's no longer visible.

The noise of the street, the cities ambiance.

Bludgeoning you with cacophony.

Everything you liked, the sounds, the feelings, the sensations.

Replaced with loud, echoing sounds reverberating unto nothingness.

You close the door and look at your home.

You have work later today..

At least you can focus a little on that.

Though it's bittersweet.

All with the thoughts that if this thing with Starlight doesn't pan out you'll be lonely.

The cycle will begin again.

It may be a few days before you can see her.

In those days you must attempt to deepen the bond, or risk losing her.

It's often in these beginning phases a relationship is most fragile.

You get a call from Lemon.

It's brief, but it looks like she's looking for it.

As depressed as you are without Star, you maintain a casual conversation but don't go farther than that with her.

It lasts for about 5 minutes before she seems to get bored.

She hangs up, and all of your memories from those nights long past come back like demons tormenting you.

It was so sweet, and yet so bitter.

Never again..

You can't do it, ever again.
