Choices
Sunset Pt. 2
Previous ChapterNext ChapterX: Focus on the class. It may be history, something I looked into way too hard when I first came here, and so know all of this stuff, but I still can’t just brush it off.
O: Fantasize. I know all of this, so why not relax, think of other things, and not let boredom kill me?
Sunset takes a deep breath, and lets her mind wander, while pretending to be very interested in the material, a skill she mastered while working with Snips and Snails. She quickly went to a normal one, where she was coming to a meadow, where all of her friends awaited her, smiling, and overjoyed that the one they cared about was there.
X: It was a clearing, a normal picnic as always, and we were all dressed for a hike.
O: A small change for the day, to go with my outfit; we’re at a beach, all in bikinis, even… my Fluttershy.
A small hum escaped Sunset as she saw the bouncing boobs of Fluttershy’s again, looking at her with a bright smile, before she looked away. Applejack merely smiled at her, her own, perky apples jiggling a bit as she began to climb over the picnic blanket. As always, she had brought the food, and Sunset couldn’t be happier. She had so little ‘home cooking’, even in Equestria, that she welcomed it every time.
She couldn’t help but continue to focus on Fluttershy though, and what she had just seen of her friend. It wouldn’t be hard…
X:Push it away. They may be fantastic without covering, but I don’t need Flutterboobs.
O: It won’t hurt to indulge a little, right? Just a small snap of strings, and I could make her show me them again, even if just in my mind.
With a sharp breath, Sunset reminded herself that she was still in school, and pushed the thought out of her mind. Instead, she began to simply chat and hang out with her friends. It was as she always hoped friends interacted. Natural, fun, and especially funny, with things like Pinkie pretending to be from Jaws.
While she day dreamed though, another set of choices popped into her view, and it said,
X: Ignore him
O: Glare at him
V: Smile and subtly wave
And she found herself unable to glance over and see whatever the hell it was talking about.
Sunset turned to spot the person looking at her, and saw that one of the nerds she had teased a good while ago, a Button Mash, if she called right, was staring at backwards at her. A smile crossed her lips, and she waved to him, and his cheeks got became much brighter as he turned away. It was also at this time that the teacher said that his lecture was done, and that they could work on the assignment for the day.
“Hi Button, would you like to work on the assignment together?” Sunset smiled softly as she opened her book to the page written on the board.
Button obviously wasn’t expecting anything like this as his pupils almost disappeared from his eyes, and he swallowed hard. He tried speaking, but the only thing that came out was a strangled squeak.
“I’ll take that as a yes, so move your chair over here, and we can use my desk.” Sunset patted the top of her desk.
Button began to fumble and move, but before he could get very far, he slammed himself back into his chair. This wasn’t before she had seen a rather… impressive, bulge in his pants. She than got to watch the poor boy put his hands over it, while blushing like a tomato.
X: Compliment him, and thank him for the compliment
O: Say nothing. It’s way too embarrassing for both of you.
Sunset stood up, the book in one hand as she moved her chair with the other one. Once she was down next to him, certain she was just going to thank him for the compliment, she blurted out, “Well, nice to see I have enough charm to get your broadsword all the way up.” Her mind screamed as she realized what she said, but her body didn’t blush, unlike Button, who looked like he might die. No, she instead winked, and felt a shiver of excitement run down her spine.
Sunset covered her mouth with her hand. Did I really say that? She quickly moved her hand down, realizing that it probably wasn’t the best to stay like that after winking like she did. “Ah, so...so the assignment is on the Battle of Pearl Harbor…”
Button Mash nodded, his own hands fumbling with the textbook, and he tried to focus on the words in front of him. He still didn’t speak though, afraid that his voice would shatter if he did. His eyes weren’t so easy to control though, and Sunset could easily see when he was looking back at her, his gaze fixed on her exposed chest.
“I-I’m really sorry about what I said. I mean, I...I do see it as a compliment, but I didn’t mean to say something like that. I hope you aren’t too… upset?” Sunset played with her pencil between her fingertips.
For a moment, Button simply stared at her like she was completely insane, before whispering, “A-aren’t you the one that’s supposed to be smacking me here? Because as far as I’m concerned, one of the-” Buttons caught himself just in time, and slammed a hand over his mouth as he paled.
“One of the?” Sunset encourages him.
Button swallowed hard, before sighing. If she wanted the truth out of him, she would be able to get it out of him one way or another probably. “O-one of the prettiest girls in school isn’t hurting me for staring at her chest.”
Sunset blushed. “I… N-no, like I said, I’m flattered by it. I know I’ve been pretty rotten… i’m trying to change.”
Button tried for a weak, nervous smile. “Well, I believe you, I… I promise. It’s not like people can’t change after all.”
X: Offer the young lad a show of how much I appreciate the compliments
O: Simply blush, and focus on the assignment. He is still a nerd, and we’re at school. To do anything like those things would be super inappropriate.
Sunset reached over, squeezing his hand and mouthing thank you, before she turned back to the book, and began to discuss the chapter. As the class progressed, Button became more comfortable around her, and by the end, they agreed to talk more some time, and parted with tears at the very edge of Sunset’s eyes as he smiled genuinely at her face, and not just her breasts.
