Load Full StoryNext ChapterSunset was alone in the music room. Rehearsal was over, and it was just Sunset and Rainbow Dash. Well it would be once Rainbow walked into the room and decided to start the fun. And that is what she did. Rainbow strode into the room with a condescending smirk. She may or may not have liked the bacon haired girl, but she didn't show it. Not until she knew...
"So Sunset," a raspy voice said from behind her. "Done anything lately?"
"What kind of things?", Sunset asked, turning slowly around just in case Rainbow had a squirt gun or something.
Rainbow decided to dive right in. "Oh I don't know? Tackling rainbow haired girls because of your infatuation for them?"
Sunset was pissed almost instantly. Pissed and on edge. She could not let Rainbow know how she felt.
"Dash! You're so arrogant!", Sunset said, but inside her head, she scolded herself for scolding the cerulean girl. Which ultimately lead to more scolding... But whatever. Rainbow couldn't suspect...
"Am I?", Rainbow said cockily, "or am I right?", she said, raising an eyebrow.
"Maybe," Sunset said, trying to play it cool, but ultimately giving her feelings away.
"Huh,", Rainbow said, giving Sunset time to take back what she said. When no takesy backesy of the sort came, she continued to hint at some things.
"So you do have an infatuation with me?", Rainbow said, and a devious smirk graced her lips.
"No!", Sunset said, turning a very dark shade of crimson.
"You know, I'll bet if I ever go to your room, there will be posters of my gorgeous face plastered on every wall," Rainbow joked.
Sunset turned even redder, and mumbled, "well I'll be taking those down," half jokingly, half seriously.
"What was that?", Rainbow asked exaggeratedly. "No seriously," Dash said, causing Sunset to turn as red as if she were sunburnt. "How much do you wanna bet? A dollar? A pretty penny?"
"Just stop?", Sunset said, turning away.
"A kiss?", Rainbow said.
She now had Sunset's full attention. "A kiss?", Sunset asked.
"Oh no. Not just a kiss.", Rainbow said leaning closer. "I'm promising a full on make out session."
Sunset's face flushed double the sunburn.
"Does that sound like a bet you wanna make?", Rainbow asked, her breath hot on Sunset's face.
Sunset, trying desperately to cling on to her tiny shreds of innocent dignity, pushed out a small, "no."
"Are you sure?", Rainbow asked. "I promise it'll be awesome!"
Sunset's ability to speak returned. However, she also couldn't say no to Rainbow, so she ended up saying, "Well if it's as awesome as you say it is..."
"It is," Rainbow said.
Sunset gulped, "Fine then," she said.
"So what are you betting on?", Rainbow asked Sunset.
"What?", Sunset asked.
"If you win the bet, I have to have a steamy make out session, but if I win, well you'll see. So I take it I'm betting that you do have posters of me hung up in your room. And if I'm wrong, well, you'll win the bet, and you better have a really comfy bed..."
Sunset blushed at what Rainbow was implying,
"You know what?", Rainbow asked mischievously.
"What?", Sunset answered, full of elation and wariness.
"I'm coming over to your house tomorrow. So you better hide those posters well.", Rainbow said, backing out of the door with her guitar case and guitar resting snug inside it resting over one shoulder.
