I woke up one morning, got my coffee, and went to work. It seems that everyday went exactly the same. Wake up, eat breakfast, go to work, come home, watch MLP:FiM, and go to sleep. I had no friends, my parents died in a car accident, my life sucked. All I hoped to do when I got home from work is to watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It made me feel less worthless, and i'm pretty sure I've seen both seasons about twenty four times now.
I had no pets, I just didn't have enough money to buy food, or even take care of them. My neighbors hated me, and I don't know why. Whenever I wave to them they would just give me a stern look and then get back to whatever they would be doing, weather it'd be lawn mowing or gardening.
I didn't actually have the best childhood, either. Kids always picked on me about my size, and I was always pushed around. I never had any friends, and I'd just stay up in my room after school, with my door locked, going to sleep.
Suddenly, I heard some kind of voices outside. What in the world is that? I thought. It couldn't be my neighbors, they would never set foot on my lawn. So I knew it had to be something strange. So I opened my door, and what did I see? No no, you'll be too surprised. Want me to tell you? Well, I saw ponies. But.. all six of the ponies look like they've been through some kind of trouble, they had tree sap and flies bugging around them.
"Are you guys alright?" I asked, not sure how they'll answer.
"Do we look alright to you?" said Rainbow Dash, with a slightly raised and annoyed voice.
" Oh uh.. not really, to be honest. You guys look like you've been through a lot of things..," I said, stating the obvious.
"Yup, sure have," Applejack agreed.
But.. why were they on earth? Why were they covered in tree sap, and overall in bad condition? I felt the need to ask them why they were on Earth, but I didn't want to make them annoyed then they already were. But.. I think this is the answer to my problems. Maybe my life does mean something, I shall leave my home with a few snacks and help them get home! But.. I don't know what I'll do after that.. maybe feel good about myself that I was willing to help six ponies out.
"Do you guys want me to come along with you? I know my way 'round Earth a little better." I suggested.
The ponies looked like they were thinking. Like.. they didn't trust me, or they just didn't know me that well. Obviously they didn't. I mean, I'm a human. They're ponies. And it doesn't seem like they meant to come here, anyway,
"Well, we don't really trust you, or even know you, yet. So um.. sorry." Said Twilight Sparkle, trying to be as polite as she can.
"It's okay, I understand. But if you guys need any help, feel free to stop by my house." I notified.
I closed my door. I got a knock right away. Seems as if they are just a bit too shy to have me around. Because they obviously need help, and I'm willing to be nice and help them.
"Um.. we need help." Said Rainbow Dash, wishing she never knocked.
Great! An adventure! I packed some apples in my backpack, for both me and them, and I told them I'm ready to come along with them. I WAS going to ask why they were here in the first place. But I chose not to.
"Where are we headed?" I asked.
"Well, at this point, we really don't know. Rainbow Dash keeps trying to be the boss and keeps leading us the wrong way." Said Twilight.
"I do not! You are the ponies who aren't following my directions carefully!" argued Rainbow Dash.
"Now Rainbow, we all know you are the one trying to lead.and the one who keeps failing to lead us in the correct direction." said Applejack
"My mane is covered in mud!!" Said Rarity, not helping the argument any.
"Um.. guys? Can we.. all.. just..." said Fluttershy, trying to deal with getting cut off.
This is not an example of friendship, even though I was no expert on it. Because you know, about the "I didn't and don't have any friends" thing. But I understand why they were fighting. After all, they must just want to go home. If I were them, I'd feel the same way.
"Can't you guys use magic?" I asked, wishing I never did.
They all stopped arguing. But they looked slightly more mad then they were.
"USE... MAGIC?!" Said Twilight, not trying to be polite anymore.
"This is Earth! How in Equestria can we use magic?!" Said Twilight, with a slightly less raised voice.
Gosh, you'd never think ponies can make you feel really stupid about asking something. This is going to be trouble trying to help. But at least I will have some friends..
"Ahem. Sorry for that little outburst there..," Said Twilight once again, trying to be polite. "Rainbow, can you use your wings to check out where we are?"
"Um.. Twilight. I think I broke my wings flying yesterday." Said Rainbow Dash
"Oh great, maybe we can ask Fluttershy?" Suggested Applejack
:"Oh! Um.. no, please. I'm a pretty bad flier..," Denied Fluttershy. "Thanks for the offer, though."
At that point, it think it was time for me to take over. I knew my way, or at least I think, around Earth pretty well. But if the ponies can't use magic, how can we get back? Is there some kind of portal that they are trying to find? Are they looking for a plane called "Equestria Airlines"? I wanted to ask, but at this point I knew not to.
