                                                                     Chapter 2: A place to call home

Twilight stood there with a big grin on her face. "So Stephen what were you and FlutterShy doing?" I blushed a little and looked down "I..it's not my fault the books came out so I pushed her out of the way. "whatever but I swear to celestia if you hurt her you'll be sorry. she responded. I rolled my eyes and followed her into her house which just haappend to be a library. I smiled and looked over at her "still reading I see". She looked back and said "yeah I love books". She hadn't changed much since last time I saw her. Same dark blueish mane with that streak of pink and purple. I heard a voice over by the door. "ahhh man my head". "SPIKE!!" he looked startled at first then smiled and walked over to me "hey Stephen long time no see huh.". "You've grown up since last time I saw you spike". spike smiled a little. Twilight looked over at me with a smile she was levatating a few books behind her back. "Hey Stephen you still play violin right?" I smiled back and responded yes "Well in this libary is a music section It has a few violin books I was wondering if you wanted them". I found a chair and sat down "Sure that'd be great" I said back. She put The books outside on my wagon. I lookwd out the window next to me "Twilight you said you had a place for me to stay?"

She trotted over to her podium and opened a book. "Yeah..about that...." Twilight had her face down a little "Well I couldn't find a place so you'll have to....stay here..with me." There was an akward silence that last for about two minutes. I took a deep breath "alright fine with me" I said. She peeked her head up a little "but Twilight are you sure it's ok?...I mean I dont want to cause you any trouble." Twilight cracked a smile "Stephen you've been my friend since we were little it's ok" She walked over and guided me to her guest room it took a while but we managed to get all my stuff moved in. "Alright!" Twililight said "Stephen since your new to Ponyville why dont you go out and get a little sightseeing done" I nodded and walked out the door.

So many ponys, Ponyville was a very populated place. I was so busy I didn't notice the Pony coming towards me...CRASH! "Owww" I say to myself I looked up and see a Orange pony on the ground "I'm mighty sorry there partner" She was wearing a somewhat of a cowboy hat and had a apple cutie mark "I'm sorry miss" I lent her my hand and helped her up "It's fine I haven't seen you around here a you new?". I nodded and said "yeah my names Stephen I'm a close friend of Twilight Sparkle I moved from canterlot so I could come here. She smiled "My names AppleJack but I'm a friend of Twilight too so you can call me AJ". I smiled and said "Alright catch you around AJ" she nodded and went back to shopping. kept walking around I was really hungry so I walked into what looked like a bakery. When I step in I see a pink pony who was jumping up and down "Well I guess I could go for a cupcake" I said aloud "CUPCAKES?" said the pink pony in front of me she turned to face me her hair looked puffed out and sorta messy "I LOVEEEEE CUPCAKES, MUFFINS, COOKIES, AND PARTIES OHH HOW I LOVE PARTIES." [This pony's crazy] I thought to myself. "MY NAME'S PINKIE PIE BUT YOU CAN CALL ME PINKIE WHATS YOUR NAME??". I told her my name was Stephen and I told her I was a friend of Twilight. "TWILIGHT? TWILIGHT'S ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS" "yeah" I said back "see you around Pinkie" I walked out of the bakery and sighed I guess I didn't account for how much time had gone by it was really dark out.

Somehow I managed to make it back to Twilights' house "Twilight?" I said in a quiet voice I looked over and saw her sitting at her desk with her head down asleep I smiled and found a blanket I grabbed it and put it over her she shifted her  body downward a little. She looked really pretty like this under the moon light. I silently walked to my room and layed down. I looked turned to my side [I really like it here] was my last thought to myself before I closed my eyes and went to sleep
