//-------------------------------------------------------// In somepony else's horseshoes. -by purplegurl- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 1: morning //-------------------------------------------------------// chapter 1: morning Beep Beep Beep SMASH! “uh since when did I have an alarm clock and wait why am I in Twilights house” said Rainbow-dash getting out of bed and walking over to the mirror and drowsily glanced into it and quickly doing a double take for it wasn’t her reflection staring at her, it was Twilight’s “ahhhhhhhrg” Rainbow screamed realizing that she was in Twilight’s body. “what’s the matter Twilight why are you screaming, is something wrong?” Spike said in a not-fully-awake-but-totally-surprised tone. “Spike, it’s me Rainbow dash,… in Twilight’s body” Rainbow dash said holding back tears “wow, good one Twi I didn’t know you did ventriloquism, you sound just like Rainbow dash! do me next!” Spike said excitedly “no spike I’m NOT Twilight! I’m just in her body…”  Rainbow said half yelling at Spike. I don’t know how this happened but I’m going to find out, and I bet Twi had something to do with it Rainbow thought. Then there was a knocking at the door interrupting her thoughts. “I got it” rainbow said now tripping down the stairs, because she almost forgot she was not a pegasus. Finding her friends at the door, all disoriented surprised her. “wha.. what” Rarity Rarity yawned upon waking “good morning opal…Angel?” Rarity said “why am I in Fluttershy’s house?” Rarity said getting out of bed. Noticing her hair was longer, and for that matter pink she immediately zipped into the bathroom, glancing into the mirror she screamed “I bet that Twilight had something to do with this, well off to Twilight’s” Rarity said to Angel who was now tapping his foot impatiently. “oh I bet your hungry, well, I better find the food and feed you and all the other animals” … “now that I have feed all the animals off to Twilights” rarity sighed heading out the door and along the path towards town.        Fluttershy “Applejack ya’ over slept wake up! your breakfast is getting cold!” Applebloom hollered pounding on Applejacks bedroom door. “oh my, why am I at Applejack’s house? and why is Applebloom calling me Applejack?” Fluttershy said rising drowsily. Walking over to the door Fluttershy realized that she could no longer feel her wings. "squeeeeeeee, oh no.” Fluttershy squeaked trotting over to the dresser top mirror and noticed that she was now in Applejacks body. “maybe Twilight will know what happened, I should head over to her place.”  Fluttershy said heading down for a breakfast of apple based foods. and then off to Twilight’s house.    Applejack “yikes! ah’ overslept today! What the hay, why is it all dark? Ave’ ah’ gone blind?!” Applejack said feeling for something covering her face, finding the culprit and yanking it off. “what the hay? What in tarnation am I doing in Rarity’s house? And m… my hoof is white?!” AJ asked running over to the nearest mirror and screamed for she was in Rarity’s body! Oh I can’t be in Rarity’s body she will have a total fuss! She thought “Rarity are you ok? Is something wrong?” Sweetie bell said running into Rarity’s room. “uh of course I am Sweetie bell, I uh just realized that um my mane is a mess” applejack said trying to sound like rarity. “oh, are you sure you're alright? Your voice sounds funny.” Sweetie bell said “yep I uh, just need some fresh air,” Applejack  evaded heading outside down the path towards town off to Twilights. Pinkie pie pinkie woke up on a soft bed of clouds “clouds? how did I get up here?” she said looking around she saw Wonderbolts posters hanging on the cloud wall and daring doo books scattered around the room. Pinkie then noticed a pair of wings…blue wings she found a mirror and laughed “I look just like Dashie, maybe Twilight did something…” Pinkie thought about it and figured that either Twilight did something or this was one of Dashie’s pranks. So she started to head off to Twilight’s somehow figuring out how to fly. Twilight Twilight woke drowsily,her head still spinning from the night before, there was a ruckus going on downstairs. “spike” she sighed “what are you doing up so early?” She got up and tried to use magic to brush her mane “why isn't my magic working!” she reached up to where her horn would be but it was gone! She galloped around looking for a mirror when she found one she gasped for she was… Pinkie pie?! She went downstairs to see the cake twins causing a ruckus she smiled at the cute sight of foals and galloped out the door toward her library. //-------------------------------------------------------// introduction //-------------------------------------------------------// introduction Twilight was up late studying spells from an older book in the library, and Twilight had just about reached her limits but was determined to cast one last spell. The spells title and most of the description were gone, due to the years of fading, except a few words witch immediately Twilight recognized through the haze of exhaustion. Twilight prepared her self to cast the spell. magic flashed out of the library and across town. surprisingly not waking any ponies. Twilight's  head was spinning, the spell needed more magic than she thought it would. she shook her head trying to clear the dizziness and some how stumbled up the stairs to bed.
