Blazing Saddle is a rising film star who's garnered some attention on the indie circuit. He's set to do a picture with director Smash Cut, whose name is also on the rise, and things are looking bright. However, his reputation as a method actor has led the eccentric director to write it explicitly into the contract that he is not to break character at any point - a decision which eventually leads both of them into a crusade across Equestria, and beyond.
